If the worst case scenario befalls us, one of us needs to contact this man and demand why in the world Kishi chose this ending for everyone. Point out every significant event and detail that correlates to NaruSaku throughout the manga. If the editor folds by trying to handwave or ignore/deny this information, then that provides with a good understanding into his psyche. We deserve an explanation for the sudden turn of events. 

Simple, he wants to turn his manga into a cash cow. (naruto part 3)

I''ve already tried to ask things, like what the point of Minato's and Kushina's words were and if we just have to assume that Naruto indeed gave up on Sakura. No response for now.

I'm still in shock over how terrible the ending is. Sasuke never cared for Sakura beyond a teammate. Naruto loved her intensely and selflessly for years. While Sakura's feelings waned, his own for her only grew stronger. When she was down, he was the one to pick her up. When she was in danger, he was the one that protected. When she was hurt, he was the one that made her feel better.
But of course, like Jiraiya and Obito, he doesn't get the girl. I don't think I will ever get over that.

Well, you know. The nice guy is never supposed to win. He's supposed to used and thrown away.

The worst thing if this crap is real. Is that he ruined my view on other mangas/animes. I will never be able to trust another author thanks to Kishi!

But why? Kishi is probably in the top three to one percent income bracket of his country. Why does he need more when there's probably already a surplus of revenue to keep him and his family well off for the rest of their lives? And don't they already receive a certain amount of the profit that Pierrot makes with their selling of the anime? Money should not be an issue for Kishi - especially when it entails contradicting his own story to appease the wishes of a group of fans who live on the other side of the planet who aren't even part of his core fanbase.

Interesting reaction he has or lack thereof. He might just not have gotten around to reading and responding to the message, but part of me is arguing that the editor is aware of what you wrote, but he won't acknowledge or respond back for some undisclosed reason.
