Finally!!! Hopefully, we'll get a fair bit of info dump and stats on the characters. I'm most interested in the Kages and Killer Bee.

 

I hope the new data book lists all the villages that appear on the map. Even ones that never appeared in the manga to begin with. As well as a listing of all the clans that reside in each village. Twelve clans for each of the five great shinobi nations, and four-five clans from the twelve-thirteen lesser border nations.

 

I'd also like confirmation about what Shimogakure's ninja headband symbol is. Because the wiki thinks the Shimo kaji is the village symbol despite the fact that the five circle plus sign symbol is the symbol on the headband. They probably think that since the guy Mei Terumi was escorting was a feudal lord rather than a village head, they think the ninja headband he was wearing was country's symbol rather than the village's symbol.

Yup, Ino and Sai both support NS. Maybe they should hook up themselves, Ino seems to be interested in Sai

sakura is so pretty though that boots will make her more badass. Naruto looks mature and i kinda like it eventhough i'm the only one.

I like Naruto's design in those sketches now but SP messed up his beauty,their style is bad.

That's probably because we are considered outcasts within the Naruto fandom. The major Naruto-related fan sites always seem to have a slight or huge majority being NH/SS fans. The fact that this website exists to begin with leads me to believe that the NaruSaku fandom has very little influence on the other sites to the point where this website is considered a homeland of sorts. I've never heard of a website where NaruSaku is the majority of the user base except for this one. Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if NH/SS had their own websites themselves and feel like outcasts themselves. Not to mention that if NaruSaku forms a third of the "Big 3", it would probably be more appropriate to consider NS/NH/SS the superpowers of the naruto shipping fandom.

well if every NS fan didn't run to this site and stayed here, they would be much better represented everywhere else. 

And yeah while NS may not be as popular as NH on any western site it is a pairing that is nowhere near as hated as SS by the common fandom.

I don't like Sakura's new appearance all that much. The face is gorgeous, it has a grown-up sharpness and colouring to itself that Sakura didn't before. But her clothes seem uninspired - as if the concept artists couldn't think of anything to distinguish this older appearance so they garbed her with a mishmash of pieces worn in the past. 
 
I would have preferred if Sakura came into her own by not having exactly the same height as a woman that she has never met before. She doesn't allow destiny or the will of this universe's parallel nature to govern the course of her body and mind - instead, she comes to see Naruto in that romantic context in her own way without the subtle circumstance of glaringly discrepant heights to warp Sakura into appearing even more like Kushina. It somewhat diminishes the uniqueness of her unblessed ancestry if she can't even receive most of the traits of her parents imo. 
 
 

Sakura looks kinda skinny... and why do they make her clothes longer? I thought she didn't have the apron? Gahh Anyways the height difference! Me and Sakura are the same height aha.

 
Changing Sakura's outfit in a manner that paints her in a less flattering light is not above what Pierrot is capable of. There was an injustice made just like this one for Sakura during Shippuden where the artists used a somewhat different interpretation for her visuals compared to Kishi's portrayal.

it's a perfect cross between her post and pre-time skip outfits!!

 

I'm kinda glad they changed Kishi's original design....I like the dress covering her butt XD it looks like a cute skirt now.

anime tends to screw up kishi's designs. 

 

edit: I remember looking at a still picture that was recently animated of a panel of Sakura's face with the Byakugou revealed. Her face look really intense in that panel, but imo I feel as though the anime didn't execute well on that panel. I didn't feel the same intensity I had when I first saw that panel. It was lackluster to say the least.

Does anybody remember the Rasengan training Naruto went through with Jiraiya? The part where Naruto had to focus chakra to a single point to create the necessary form? Naruto wasn't getting the hang of that, so Jiraiya held out a piece of blank paper and had Naruto look at it, and Naruto wasn't able to focus on a single point of the paper. The next thing Jiraiya did was draw a dot at the center of the paper, and Naruto's attention was immediately drawn to the dot.

 

Just saying that Sakura's forehead now has a seal mark on it,which might, at some point in the future, draw Naruto's attention...and, I mean, they are the perfect height now, Naruto's mouth rests at the level of Sakura's forehead...

 

Man, how I wish that forehead head cannon would come true...

I hope Sakura activates her seal during the movie. I wanna see it stretch all over her body, since she won't be covered up in Konoha pjs.

 

@ Atheck I agree with you on Sakura's outfit. I prefered Kishi's original design, because instead of the same old spandex, she seemed to be wearing regular shorts, not a dress.( plus I would have like for her shirt to be white, outlined in red, similar to her mom's.)

 

Also, when you say visuals, are you taking about her clothes or body proportions? Cause I remember that original sketch you showed me, it made Sakura look more curvy than the anime depicted it.( similar to how Kishi depicted her body at the beginning of part two chapter, subtle curves, but they were definitely visible.)

Maybe the first Sakura sketches were Kishi's earlier designs of her and later on he changed them slightly?

Clothes, mostly. The idea of Sakura shifting her usual burgundy set for a lighter piece that's more reminiscent of her mother's dress sounds like a very good idea. Naruto already chose to honour his father sartorially during RtN, why can't Sakura do the same for her own parent?
