I heard it was a false alarm. I hope that's the case because really, it's almost impossible to do one and it really shouldn't be done.

I'm surprise they aren't giving up on it. Well with Naruto all but done SP need to find a new cash cow to milk and Tokyo Ghoul is their best candidate for that role. Anyways they will keep making seasons of tokyo ghoul cause they know most fans will watch it despite their adaptation of it most likely being complete crap. They have the right to make the anime and i doubt they will sell it to another company. And i doubt the company that own the manga will complain as long as it makes money.

Actually Ishida complained about the first season since he actually cares for his story unlike Kishi

There is no way a season 3 can be done based on :re with the way root A developed.

Which essentially would mean another anime original season 3...and even if Ishida writes for it I doubt Pierrot would follow his route, we all know how root A turned out

You know, I didn't think it would be possible to hate SP even more. After having that Anime book, I was wrong.

Rushed story, alternate the story itself, characters left fully developed, and changed the style of the atmosphere. Well, I can't say that's all he complained, but I can tell you at least one is what he complained.
