Also, if the manga is driven by fans, I think Kishi has to make her happy in the end. She has a lot of fanbase, as well as her relationship with Naruto. But right now she just confuses me. :/

I'm not sure what to say either. They only thing I see is Hinata inside her thoughts dreaming about being with Naruto.
But when it comes to action (when they actually meet), she can't do anything but blush, faint or say what she doesn't mean (well, not exactly this, but she says something while wanting to say something else. I hope I explained myself correctly here)
Plus she has never really found out if he likes her or not (I mean, is it that hard to ask, even if it's indirectly?).
If she's so sure, then I don't see her caring about how Naruto feels.
Mmmm.. good point, Wolf. I als had been thinking that besides what you said, Hinata also has at times misconstrued what Naruto's said when he said he liked people like her, taking it as a confession when h really was sayng he admired her guts and will from what she did against Neji to keep standing up in spite of the beatdown she was taking.

You can clearly see who he likylikes when he's watching Sakura's skills and watching Hinata's skills.

Given he showed rousng support of them for two different reasons, Sushi. With Sakura's fight with Ino, he wanted to make sure Sakura didn't feel like she got punked out of a chance to beat Ino, while with Hinata's fight, he wanted to shut Neji up due to his saying people couldn't change.

When Sakura for instance saved Kankorou, it was a complete different reaction from all the other Hinata-fights. I didn't mean the chuunin exam, hehe.

Now, see, I get whatcha mean, Sushi. Plus there's the fact of how Naruto reacted and smiled when he realized Sakura, with her new chakra enhanced strength, could kill him if he wasn't careful.

And ugh, I don't want to see Hinata being yandere....What a disgrace to her character if she stoops so low. She doesn't deserve such a treatment. I'm sure she would accept the fact happily if Naruto tells her directly.

Sai is in fact quite observant and is often right about these books of his. I'm beginning to think Kishi made a big part of his perona for Narusaku.

I would also like to see her get over Naruto without having another guy to heal her. I don't believe it's true love when somebody dates somebody else because they couldn't get the former person. The only way somebody could get over their first love is only by them self, and only then can a chance of new love happen. That is why I am happy that Kishi took his time showing Sakura still in love with Sasuke, but gradually realizing he isn't such a great guy. We need Sakura to realize that first.
Sorry, I'm not thinking that Sakura was just using Naruto. I agree that even if it hurt him at the same time she tried to save him. She wanted to make Naruto hate her so he could take all his anger and sadness on Sakura. I can't bring myself to hate Sakura on her actions during the confession because I think it was a really great sacrifice on Sakura's part to intentionally make one of most important people to hate her so he can vent all the frustration on her. It's really a big pain when one of your most important person hates you, but she was willing to do that for Naruto's sake. It just shows how much she cares for him although it may be a bit twisted.
Come to think of it, this reminds me of the scene where Naruto tells Sasuke, "Take all your hatred on me!" and Itachi's "Fight with me with your hatred".

Yeah. In the long run, she wanted to also end the suffering she caused Naruto with his promise by trying to kill Sasuke herself, showing how much resolve she had there even IF she couldn't bring herself to kill Sasuke. At least unlike Naruto at the time, she understood Sasuke had to be stopped no matter the personal cost due to what he had done and how far he'd fallen. That's what Sai really didn't understand when he explained it to Naruto; it wasn't just about her feelings or Sasuke, it was about easing Naruto's burden as well as doing something about Sasuke since he was their teammate and due to Sakura feeling like she'd caused too much pain for Naruto she wanted to do it herself. I mean, Kakashi even thought it had to be him who put Sasuke down, but as we saw, he just tried to dissuade Sasuke rather than trying to kill him like he proclaimed he would do.

were too preoccupied by NS hug

This manga is driven by popularity, we all know that Naruto will be the one that redeem Sasuke, so why make Sasuke and Itachi cross road, to then have Itachi running away... the only thing I can think off is Fans are eager to see the brothers, there is no other reason if they meet is because Itachi will make a final declaration after Sasuke fight with Naruto that will change Sasuke's mind. Naruto try three timaes and fail, what will be the difference the fourth time.
Itachi's last word...
But what happen fans are too eager to see Sasuke and Itachi and Kishi make it happen...
This Manga is driven by fan and Kishi doesn't want to lose readers he focus too much on his fan that sometimes the Manga doesen't make sense. Why remind the reader all the time that Hinata purpose is to live and think about Naruto all the time, only if you want to keep the two biggest fanbase reading your Manga.
SS NH
That it self is not the problem Joseph. The anime team merely emphasizes it to ridiculous levels, that make fan obsess about her in a way that they shouldn't be. and that influences their opinions on her

Sai definitely takes a big part in NS development. Not only did Naruto tell Sai that he couldn't tell Sakura for not keeping his promise yet that he liked her - but Sai also told SAkura herself that Naruto loved her.

You just prove what I said.
Kishi is been driven by fan and the fact that he is afraid of losing reader by stiking to his story, is silly.
After Sakura hug, Naruto declaration on the fact that Sakura has more than friendship feelings for Naruto, plus Naruto been the hero and has readers we can all see that the NaruSaku is more obvios so Kishi start forsing all this Hinata crap to keep the reader thinking that they may be a NH end, when he already focus most of the Manga on NaruSaku and make three statement for this couple...
1- Sakura say only she knows what she feels.
2- Naruto say that he cannot confess until he keep his promose.
3- Kushina find a girl like me.
You see there is Sakura thinking about Naruto's love and Naruto thinking about Sakura in a romantic way = two way relationship.
Now you have Hinata thinking about Naruto, Hinata thinking about Naruto, Hinata thinking about Naruto, but no Naruto thinking about her love, then we keep haven Hinata thinking about Naruto and Hinata thinking about Naruto, that now it doesn't make sense anymore. Only thing you can think that he wants to keep NH and SS reading his story on not stoping because of pairing stuff.

Two: She has hurt Naruto one to many times to be forgiven, I've heard of 2nd chances but Naruto has given her like 20 throughout these two animes.
Three: She truly hated Naruto at the beginning saying he gets in the way of her love for Sasuke and has now come to rely on him for practically everything
NaruSaku is not for anything.
OK, this was said by a Queenfrannie at YouTube on a NaruSaku video, guys, and I got some lip for her!
One: Sakura isn't delusional. She's confused on how she's felt for Sasuke in the past as well as her inability to kill him due to her still caring for him. She is also seeing Sasuke isn't the person she had felt he was years ago when she only was distracted by Sasuke's cool lone wolf attitude.
Two: Sakura may have hurt Naruto, but a lot of times was for comedical effect or also when he's acted out of line, even if sometimes he wasn't being rude or anything at all, but just 'cuz she thought that.

And three: She was a kid who didn't know better about Naruto's situation by assuming he was in the way when he never really was. A lot of times, it just was accidents that made it seem that way when Naruto didn't fully get it, but now she's grown more understanding after realizing Naruto's always been there for her when she needed help.
I mean, seriously, girl, kno the facts before insulting.

from the manga or the anime? I see no such thing in the manga. Hinata is just there. Any interactions between them is not Romantic in a way I could see. That last one was just Naruto encouraging her to be more confident. And you don't EVEN NEED those three moments you pointed out to see NaruSaku's relationship. ask any of our fellow NaruSaku fans, they can vouch for it. Again Kishimoto is writing the manga how HE decides. It's pretty unprofessional for an author to write their work based on the fans opinions' or desires. It's common sense. It's the anime that are trolling us with NaruHina fillers. And even if it was a matter of keeping fans for him, let me tell you that popularity with manga s a VERY SERIOUS business. the popularity decides who's work gets to stay published. When a manga loses too many fans and popularity polls, it gets cancelled. End of story. do you want Naruto to get cancelled? I didn't think so. He's not doing it for fun IF that is the case. Read the manga Bakuman if you don't believe me. It's a story from the creators of Death Note. It talks about two teenagers wanting to be manga artists and the the plot explains the process of manga.
