Ok a bit of predictions. One hopefully we won't see many nH interactions.
Two Bolt will probably not wear the Naruto's Jacket and Sasuke headband for most of the movie but he'll wear it after the attack when he facing the villains.
Three Sasuke is probably either teaching Bolt the shadow clones or is asking him if he knows the jutsu.

It wouldn't matter. It's all about Boruto. I'll bet you this:

Boruto don't care for Hokage because of Naruto. In the end, he does and become his main target and his rival is Sarada for it, hence why called rival. You can't have her defect Konoha like déjà vu. Did you see the trailer? Boruto is about to be put over stronger than Brock Lesnar when first arriving to WWE.

No matter how you look at it, it gonna look like forced buIIsh*t, if Bolt is the one to defeat the villains, instead of the insanely OP Naruto and Sasuke.

 

Boruto defeating the final boss will be just as kitten as how Naruto used to defeat the movie villains in the part one movies and fillers.

I would actually laugh if Boruto defeat the villain that Sasuke hyped up about. If only the humor is anything near Haikyuu level, I would understand this, but the fact they made it so serious, seeing a kid beating it will be unbelievable.

We know. Judging by the way it looks, my best guess is anime special prior to Boruto. That's my best bet.

By this point, the series is a dried up husk that's being steered around like a puppet after gradually deteriorating into refuse since the Kage Summit arc. I don't know how much more they can squeeze out of the marginal amount of fans that they have left. If I had to guess, the announcement will have to do with an anime adaptation of the spin-off, despite the fact that Shippuden isn't even completed yet.

What I don't get is that htey appear to be aiming at nostalgia with the movie with Naruto's jacket and Sasukes headband (which actually represents his betrayal but they are trying to make it appear as a positive thing for some dumb reason.) But the thing is the manga ended nine months ago, there is no reason to try to appeal with nostalgia. You do than when you reboot a franchise or bring back a franchise years after it finished.

 

Trying to do it so quicklyjust doesn't make sense and gives you the impression they don't think the newbies will sell so they are using the old boys to sell the movie instead. It also seems odd that Boruto, Mizuki and Sarada are all in the same team, they all appear to be quite strong and putting them together seems to go against the ninja team code. I bet Sarada ended up as the Rookie of the Year, and Boruto will be sold as the dobe dispite him already mastering the Shadow Clone Jutsu.

Yup, kaguya, toneri, and now this. They all have byakugan, or at least looks like hyuga. They will try to make hinata relevant and fit into the story.

Meh, Kishi cut nearly all of her relevance by not giving the kids byakugan. Other than weapons training and basic exercise, she can't teach her kids kitten.

 

Bolt not getting the byakugan, was so that he could use him as a pseudo-SasuNaru child in this movie. Himawari not getting byakugan is just because she was ugly enough, so he didn't want to make it worse.( No seriously, I believe he said he regretted making the byakugan, because it's harder to show expressions.)

I think it'll be twenty times worse considering there are two God level shinobi there. I mean, sure Kakshi was strong, but it was at least somewhat believable that he got caught up fighting a different enemy, so Naruto could take on the main villain.( plus since he had Kurama, that made it a bit more possible for him to win.)

 

But, here, Bolt has no Bijuu and no jutsu better than Naruto's Kurama cloak or Sasuke's susanoo, not to mention he's a 12 year old brat. There is no possible way to explain him defeating an enemy, while Naruto and Sasuke are there.

I think Boruto got this all on his own. I truly believe they are pure banking on Boruto to carry both Naruto and Sasuke. That trailer and supposed info is really telling.

It's an Obito-based filler that is more than likely meant to be a desperate attempt by SP to "flesh out" his character since he was such a lame "villain" in the manga with an extremely petty excuse for all his actions; his crush dying, while never exactly showing WHY Rin was just sooooooooo special to him that he'd say "screw the world, trap it in an eternal illusion where I can be happy".

 

As an oldie PR fan, I actually thought the first movie was pretty cool, even if the TV series invalidates it. Turbo on the other hand.....

I do hope the reboot movie is decent though.
