Which is ironic seeing how he is an Uzumaki. So why did Kushina survive that little bit and Naruto just died instantly? That within itself is inconsistent. We also have the Gedo Mazo ripping the Nine-tails out of Naruto and Eight-Tails out of Bee within seconds or minutes when it took 3 days to rip the One tail out of Gaara along with the help of the Akatsuki which is also inconsistent.

There are so many more inconsistencies that many of us have forgotten.

 

Why is that inconsistent ?  First off Naruto is only half Uzumaki , then it doesn't say that all Uzumakis made good bijuu hosts . In Kushina' s case  she had the special chakra for that  , the chakra chains that allowed her to restrain a bijuu temporarily even without a seal in place and she was brought to the leaf specifically for the purpose of becoming a bijuu host . I think it's safe to say that only a select few Uzumaki's had that ability  and most likely only the women of the clan  seeing as Mito was also a jinchuuriki and now Karin also awakened the same power , while Naruto never showed any signs of having it .

 

There's also the seals used for each , which again were different . In Naruto's case the seal allowed the bijuu chakra to seep through . We can not be sure as it is not mentioned but  I think for Kushina  the bijuu chakra could not flow through the seal and try to control her

 

So even though both of them are Uzumaki , which is about the only thing they have in common in this , Naruto and Kushina are two completely different Jinchuuriki so it makes sense to me that their reaction to having had the bijuu removed be different .

I do honestly like the situation of how Madara has become a threat with almost no hope left to stop him, not many series do this stuff, either preventing the villian from gaining power or they only get a porition of it or otherwise somehow are stopped in another way by sealing or something else like the sprit bomb goku used on majin buu.

Really this does make for a really big trail for naruto and Sasuke to overcome but if they overcome it, that's all the more reason it's good. Madara is just a villian for the sake of being a villian, he is cruel, prideful, arrogant, smug, can back up everything he says. Hell the dude spent most of his life in his own hate making a plan to control the world with the actions to even revive himself, and in the bitter irony, everything he didn't plan out turned out even better for him, including being edo tenseied to a younger age, given enhancements by kabuto, and finally gained the opportunity to revive from a weakened obito. Madara has been mostly on track, but his f up moment had come, he should have just pulled kurama in without letting him speak to gaara, now once naruto and sasuke get up, Madara will end up losing in the end. I do like how the villian for once is almost in reach of his goal, rather he is already there but doesn't just go to the plan because he doesn't feel perfect yet.

It's the situation now and beyond that makes me want to see exactly how do you kill virtually the god of the naruto universe when he has all the powers, all the strength, enhancements to protect from almost any strike and heal himself if even harmed, how does one overcome this? It's again that superman syndrome but in reverse, when heroes are loaded with powers, it's not interesting when they just steamroll most of their foes. But when villains have that high power, it's acceptable because they are villians it's a tired and true setup but heroes know their power is only so limited and even if they hold great powers themselves they never or hardly go full force because they have morals, it's villians like Madara who have no morals that fit this well, he doesn't care about anyone but himself, most villians on the naruto universe had some backstory or issues, Madara is simply just like this because he lost his brothers and was seen as an outcast from his own clan and came to see the world hopelessly lost in war. Because of this, he sought the power he wields now, to bring an end to it all because he just isn't content and in another way, things never went how he wanted them too. This made him warped, cruel, and selfish to the point, he doesn't care who is in his way, he is ruthless and this is a villian we needed. The only thing that remains for Madara, he is the super villian of the series we came to hate, the one we want to see die. We hate him so much we love the evil stuff he did, and that's why when naruto and Sasuke best him, it's that much better to see him fall from his high throne.

Well, I don't know. It feels like worldwide but on a underground level. But I could be wrong.

Well from what I remember, in the extraction before it was the factor of chakra potency and Kishi did make a big deal out of Madara's strong chakra.

Also, Kushina was a full Uzumaki while Naruto is half so this may be a factor as well. :)

 

Okay, but that was just the one-tail. The supposedly weakest of all 9 of them. How does Madara pull the two most powerful tailed beasts out of host in a matter of seconds, but several powerful ninja including that of a Uzumaki with the Rinnegan, as well as powers belonging to the other tailed beast that were already captured, were unable to pull the one tails out within the same time frame? You'd think with all that power, extracting the one-tail would be a piece of cake. If chakra potency really is a factor, then they should of had more than enough to extract the one-tail in seconds.

As for Kushina being a full Uzumaki while Naruto is only a half....well, it is a good theory, but until proven can't say it is a definitive factor.

However, we have only seen 4 Uzumaki in existence: Karin, Kushina, Mito, and Nagato. Mito never showed to use the chains and neither has Nagato. So for it being only a female thing is uncertain because we haven't seen enough Uzumaki nor established lore to definitively say that male Uzumaki cannot use those chains as well.

You think Kushina could do the heal bite as well?

Maybe? Lol. He's not an internet guy, but maybe he got tons of fan letters about NaruSaku. Then again, he don't really follows them. Maybe he waited to unleash this or maybe he just thought of a great idea as he took a break from December, not the recent one.

Read the raws. All Sakura said was that there was no way in hell she'd let him die. I guess Managstream's "No matter the cost" got people speculating? A Chiyo moment never even occurred to me until I watched Sawyer's review. All I could see while reading the chapter was this:

Oh, not sure. Maybe it falls down to not having means more. Not sure. We do hear her name many times in this arc at least. Orochimaru even mentioned it. Hm, it just occurred to me how important to make that comparison.

I dont think NS or any pairing will be canon until Naruto vs sasuke has played out. It would be bad for sakura to declare her love for Naruto only to have lingering feelings about sasuke and who to pick

Well why can't she came to that resolution now ? I mean with her realizing her feeling for Naruto now and at the same time letting go of any lingering feelings she has for Sasuke , i don't see why this can't happen especially now given the situation that they are in and the way Kishi's writing this , it could very much happen before the Naruto vs Sasuke fight , after the war .

Not sure I mean I would love for Sakura to see Kushina but its a big If at this point in the Manga.

anybody feel that kishi somewhat changed his pacings? i still remember those awful moments where the alliance morale keep going down and prep talk and flashbacks but these recent chapters changed for the better..
