Agree very strongly with the bolded. Besides, Minato didn't seem to take his words as a joke. And I doubt he would joke about his feelings like that. If he didn't have any for her, then he would have told his father so. It's not exactly a good situation for him to say a joke like that anyway, so again I highly doubt it was. 

 

Also why bring it up with those EXACT WORDS?

 

Why girl friend? why use a  phrase that evokes a very specific image in peoples minds of an intimate romantic relationship?

 

Simple the author is saying directly that this is what they are.

Wasn't it already clarified that what Naruto said was that he won't oppose Sakura? I don't think it has anything to do with the previous chapter, if that was the case it would've been portrayed more clearly.

 

To me it was a clear call back the first time Sakura used her super strength which had also surprised Naruto.

I think he was serious, this is his dad asking the question, someone that Naruto will only get a once in a life time opportunity to talk to so why in the world would he lie/joke with him when this is possibly the last time he can tell him anything about who he loves?

 

Not to mention even if it was a joke (which I don't think it was) it still disproves Naruto having any feelings for Hinata.

I didn't mention anything about pairings, I'm not your hardcore NaruSaku shipper so little things like that do not bother me. What got to me is that Naruto had to remind her that he was there too.

If she'd be like " arigato Naruto!" or "arigato Sasuke-kun!" then it's not Naru and Sasu watching her back, it's her watching Naru and Sasu's backs.

Exactly. As you said, he doesn't take lightly to joking around about his feelings. He takes them very seriously, so when he talks about them, we should take him seriously too:

I actually think she has the same determination, the same look on her face as in the fight with Sasori. And her big words and the flashbacks can't be for nothing.

 

I don't think Sasori was made for Sakura's development, but maybe his abilities. :3 A little, because his abilities made complete sense, given that Suna has a bunch of puppetmasters.

That's why I think she'll have a nice role in this fight but IMO, she seems a bit more confident than she did back then, or at least, her confidence was at an all time high right off the bat. Kishi's likely not gonna troll Sakura. When she has a moment, she tends to go all out. The Forest of Death, and the Sasori fight are perfect examples of this. 

 

That could be true, but she was conveniently matched if anything. It was an awesome fight and since he was a puppet/puppeteer, the battle didn't end after one punch like her battles after.  

 

 

I love how everyone on the forums, FornerverWorld, Phone999 and Sawyer7mage's videos are calling this an asspull. That's so typical. The moment Sakura proves she can fight like a beast, they call it an asspull.

 

They didn't have a problem when Sasuke just started using his MS and EMS right off the bat with no training but Sakura's new jutsu is an asspull. The didn't have any problems with Kakashi spamming Kamui all war but Sakura's new jutsu is an asspull. They didn't have a problem when Chouji just suddenly learned how to master Butterfly mode WITHOUT any pill enhancements and offscreen no less, but Sakura's new jutsu is an asspull. They didn't have a problem with Ino taking control of Obito and the Juubi but Sakura's new jutsu is an asspull. They didn't have a problem with Ino mind-linking 300+ people just by doing it but Sakura's new jutsu is an asspull. They didn't have a problem with Hinata knocking the Juubi back and Lee kicking madara in half while cloaked with Kyuubi chakra but Sakura's new jutsu is an asspull. This fanbase is disgusting.

 

They don't have much to bash and hate her with now so they opt to call it asspull. I hope Kishi has her do more and more. Make those haters suffer.

I love this comment. Give the haters even more to hate about because at this point, they're never gonna be satisfied so I say, screw em! I hope she does some more amazing stuff in the next set of chapters.

Ok, it seems like we encrypting too deep that's not meant to be deep. Really, guys? I know this is day one, but come on. You should watch the latest podcast, because we talked about the fact people dig too deep for no reason. Just let it play itself. Also, it's funny how one person is scare to be on negative side. I don't blame you but feel free to post still. It's not like it kills the mood. At least for me.
