Well, with Naruto and Sasuke happened. Yet, with Sakura didn't.
And I didn't want something big, it would've been nice to have her there though. Since the whole "we're all going to fight together" thing.
And it was a pretty big attack...it shows almost all the alliance attacking. Look at the ground, no one is there, except the dead ones. It's blank.

I don't think editors got that much power to do that on Kishi and yes, I have read/watch Bakuman, so I am fully aware of this. There's two sides of this: taking advice or being pushed by them. Honestly, I can say that Kishi only gets tidbits, but the pushing is long gone from his part because of the success and it would seem if the rumor is true about him firing editors shows that he has the control. In fact, there was supposed to be one editor and stick to him until further notice, even if he don't like him, yet he gets new one like so many times.

You know what's the problem, it's the fact that we are closing in to the end and I remember so bad that during Search for Itachi Arc that fans were really demanding more from K9, like kicking butt and all that stuff, even though I really felt it was a one time deal for that arc specifically. Because if you keep bringing them in the mix, it will be too much of a cluster-you know what. That's why I felt Bleach by the third arc was dragging so much that well, a lot of people has quit and here they are, not even in the face of Shounen. Now, it's been replaced by Toriko. I haven't seen/read it yet, but yeah, point taken. Now, here we are, which is new to Naruto manga, where we focus on many characters.

I hate to say it but stop bringing the editor crap into this. I don't hate anyone who brings it up but it would be best to wait on him exposing the world, which yes, they can do that. That and noticing that the main story being altered. Not to sound biased but let's face it, it's true, but NH will make you really think. That I can understand. Right now, I don't understand yet. It's all about the overall, not what's happening bits by bits. I understand patient is wearing thin, but when the battle ends and Sakura didn't do anything, then proceed. I mean come on, we have an official boss fight now, not fighting a mothership or something. This is the real deal. Let's just wait and see.

So, who Naruto's going to fight first if can only battle one?

Yes...I doubt editors have as much power over extremely successful mangaka like Kishi and Oda (100million copies club).

For new, young mangaka? Yes, that is highly likely. But once they're more experienced and clearly have created extremely popular series, I would imagine editors' comments would lean more towards being suggestions, rather than arm-twisting a change in direction of the manga. Furthermore, romance isn't the primary focus of Naruto as it is a shonen. I doubt they would force such a huge change when sales have been pretty good anyway. Naruto is almost always consistently at #2 behind One Piece in Japan.

Definetely Obito... Both of them shared same goals. Naruto has more connections with Obito than Madara. Madara is merely a unknown one to Naruto. Obito is the reason of the suffering's Naruto in all this time. He was the responsible about his parent's death... He controlled Akatsuki by manipulating before Nagato and then Sasuke. Remember Minato's words? He sealed the Kyuubi inside of his son because he can defeat the masked man with that power. It's foreshadowing. Obito will nr defeatrf by Naruto (maybe also Kakashi will have a role here). In plus, let's see shikaku's plan... He told us that medical ploton will collaborate with those shinobi who will take care of Obito.

Madara... well, you cannot defeat him since he has an immortal body. Ninjutsu and genjutsu can't work on him, only taijutsu could be a little effective but it isn't still enough to defeat him. This man needs to be sealed because you can really defeat him. I thought that Sai's role would be determinate here.

I love how you talk about naruto fans being shallow and focusing on the fighting, and then take fight in a literal meaning, meaning actual hand to hand combat. Fight could be standing side by side, enduring.

And also, most if not all her shining moments are BECAUSE of naruto, that's why I ship this pairing. So her development with naruto has basically been everything.

the fact that Kishi changed often his editors in the last 5 years it's pretty suspicious... Did you know that about 1 year ago he welcomed on the TOC a new editor (a woman) and not even about 6-7 months after he said goodbye to that editor and has welcomed another new editor on the TOC...? He pretty changed at least 5 different editors in the last 3-4 years... it isn't absolutely normal.

Exactly.
That's why the majority of the fandom consider her useless as a heroine. And not only. But primarily this.
And that's why I said that at least in this chapter, her appearing would've been important.
They're fighting. And they're fighting the Goddamn Juubi! The biggest thing in the Narutoverse.

The only thing you can tell him is that it's not her fault. At all. It's that simple. Kishi doesn't give her any chances. If he would have, and she would fail, in other words lose the fight, I would understand. But think about the other rookies, Kishi doesn't give them fights often, but when he does, they are useful. omg, I'm comparing a main character Sakura to side characters, because there is no one else to compare her with. That's says a lot how Kishi is treating Sakura like a side character. : (

I guess the fandom thinks she is useless because:
1. She never shows us a new jutsu, she can only punch and heal. (but she is smart indeed )
2. Her confession is taken too literally, and people don't think of reading between the lines.
3. What you said, she doesn't fight.

That is why I want her to get a powerup, I want her confession to be solved(that confession was not done when Sakura walked away, definitely not) and I want her to show her new powerup.

I think that they're trying to tell him something that he most likely doesn't approve. Maybe he's being pushed to not finishing it up and make up new villains and stuff. It is a very popular manga worldwide. One Piece can get away from this because its an adventure manga, so they always land in a new place, relevant heavily to the overall plot or not. Naruto is one big story with terrorists. So yeah, maybe stretching out could be bothering him. That and probably make a fight he wouldn't care. He most likely wants to cover the one that he feels that it is necessary. After all, he did joke but at the same time serious that his movie is all his and made workers cry. Kind of hint that he has been through this many times.

I think my last straw will be after the rookies' development are done, if I don't see her then, I don't know what to do. I feel like giving up on her, but it's hard for me to just let her go.

That's about it. To further add to your post, there's basically 2 types of editors from what we can see in the manga: the first type is the one who mostly gives out advice and lets the mangaka work it out on their own. This one I'm calling the "Hattori" type. The second is the one who pushes their opinions on the authors, otherwise known as the "Miura" type. The latter type is the one who basically just thinks about the ratings and data whatchamacallit. The latter type also rarely thinks highly of the author's opinions and and usually limits their creativity.

The latter type is the one I'm worried about. I've been thinking, you guys remember the editor Kishi mentioned when he talked about creating Killer Bee?? by the way it was implied, that particular editor seems to be the "Hattori" type. And if Pain arc was anything to go by, I'm wondering if it was because of him Kishi created such an explosive arc. If you read the Pain arc, and compared to this arc, it does seem as if Kishi was completely given full reins of what happens. This arc, in comparison, seems so forced in the latter half it's not even funny (minus Obito).

Then again, these are all speculations. I just hope I'm wrong. If it's true, then that editor can die in a fire for all I care. if it's Kishi's own doing, well, I'm dropping this manga. Bleach is getting back on top of the game, and FT is as exciting as ever.

As for Kishi changing editors, I kinda wonder if the editorial department got fed up with his demands, and this editor he's with now is the last they'll ever change for him. To make it worse, he's a lousy one.

Well anyways, if Kishi keeps this up, I'm done with this manga.

P.S.: I think Naruto will handle the Juubi with Bee. Kakashi will take care of Obito while the rest of the alliance led by Shikamaru takes on Madara.

As much as I want sakura to appear next chapter, IF she is really part of a big plan (hopefully) I don't think she will show up yet.

I wan't to know where sasuke and oro are but I don't want it to switch over to them for the whole chapter, I prefer the whole one or two page for sasuke thing.

Why did Kishi changed editor anyway? He was awesome, if the Pain arc is to judge. I was even fine with the Rinne Tensei.

I've figured out that there are two types of characters that Kish simply can not write properly.(or his new editor?) Yes, that is females and villains. He ruins them all one by one. D: !!
