I mean, not really. Wasn't for that purpose. Just had a thought while grinding in destiny. Yomo, Arima, Touka, Amon, Hinami etc all have more to offer and have a greater impact on Kaneki.

Volume 3 comes out pretty soon (roughly two weeks from now), and I'm so excited to pick it up.  

I saw it at the bookstore. I was like "Oh crap!" That's where we were at. I said to myself, "I should be a member."

Fun fact: I got her Kenma from Haikyuu Keychain because well it's her favorite and it has a adorable cat so it's a win-win. Then I got Touka from her. We almost thought of getting those surprise box little figures. You know, the one from slot machine at Japan where it's a guessing game to see which one you end up getting. She was like "I see Gintama. Want to gamble on it?" I said next time but boy, we're making ourselves living in Japan lifestyle at this rate. Lol.

Can't wait till the focus shifts from Tsukiyama to someone actually important though. This arc is good, but I'd rather see Kaneki interact with others, like Yomo or Amon. Someone who had more relevance.

You meant Sasaki, not Kaneki 

Yomo came as someone who is pretty empty character, and now will act as support for Rise.

1.) I meant what I said. Sasaki = Kaneki.
2.) You must have not paid attention if you think Yomo is an empty character limited to support for Rize. Yomo is incredibly important, and will continue to be.

I saw Yomo's character, and I choose wrong word, but he is "normal", there is no questions in his doings, he's loyal, and a friend of Uta, nothing more to them, expect maybe someone intrested in how he met Rize. I wonder why author mirrored his weapon to weapon of Touka's brother, that's pretty much all.

I saw Yomo's character, and I choose wrong word, but he is "normal", there is no questions in his doings, he's loyal, and a friend of Uta, nothing more to them, expect maybe someone intrested in how he met Rize. I wonder why author mirrored his weapon to weapon of Touka's brother, that's pretty much all.

Fans are assuming that Yomo is Touka's and Ayato's uncle. Their mom was most likely his older sister. At least the hair color and hair style fits. There were also enough parallels in the flashbacks if you ask me.

Eh, not really intresting plot line, doesn't add something unusuall. Far more intresting is armors that CCG makes from Touka's father, and judging their progress - her father could be still alive.

Lol. Well, I guess not. The only one I'm curious is the next one. Yes, I have to deal with it being Pierrot, but God knows that they won't release light novels for TG.

Most likely it won't add anything to the overall storyline, but it gives us some nice character background info.

 

Oh, and Arata: He's most likely alive. Last time Arima almost slipped out things in front of Urie about him. They are prob still using his Kakuhou to create those Kakuja armors.

Nothing more?

1.) Yoshimura's right hand. He probably has all information from Yoshimura. There is a reason Yoshimura told him not to participate in the Anteiku raid.
2.) Kaneki's older brother figure/caretaker. Watched over Kaneki and supplied him with relevant information, some of which might have come from Yoshimura, more information might be passed to Kaneki through Yomo.
3.) Connection to clowns. Speaks for itself.
4.) Kaneki's father figure is Arima. Yomo hates Arima. The likelihood of problems stemming between the two and having an impact on Kaneki is extremely high, given the relevant importance of both two Kaneki. Likely a huge plot point later on.
