The final words of shikaku and inoichi with the porn stash comment.
Minato meeting sakura and asking naruto if she was his girlfriend, narutos answer, and Sakura's flustered reaction with temperament like Kushina (was both a funny scene and addressed a plot foreshadowing element building in kushinas final words)
Narutos reaction to Sakura's incredible power
Kurama insulting naruto about surpassing the hokage in stupidity.
Naruto driving tobirama crazy ( I've laughed at these scenes so much)
Karin and suigetsu acting conflictive and orchimaru telling them to heal tsunade
Suigetsu trying to run away from everyone only to be nailed by Karin
Karin's insane Sasuke reactions
That's all the funny stuff I can remember.

NS comedy moment and Tobirama part are among the few moment that I laughed a lot. I also like how Tobirama said Minato's family (father and son) are idiots and Minato can't say anything back, only "I'm sorry..."If any funny moments came in the manga recently, it would have to be the following:

The problem with Sakura is that she was designed not to understand men. She thinks she loves sasuke , but in reallity she loves Naruto

I think she's getting over that though. I think she's starting to see the one she really loved was the one she hated the most in life.

I'm surprised no one mentioned the moment where Kurama first transfers chakra to Kakashi, then freaks Naruto out by getting Kakashi sucked into Obito's Kamui (and does absolutely nothing to reassure the freaking out Naruto).

Oh yeah, that was also funny. "I got a plan" *Kakashi get sucked in* "Problem solved." That was pretty funny because that was the first time I know how Kuruma has a sense of humor.

Haha yeah, I actually really liked that moment. It was genuinely funny and not in bad taste.I'm surprised no one mentioned the moment where Kurama first transfers chakra to Kakashi, then freaks Naruto out by getting Kakashi sucked into Obito's Kamui (and does absolutely nothing to reassure the freaking out Naruto).

Pretty slow day. So, here's a question. Would you like a volume break of daily life stuff, leading to Naruto's birthday or rather the setup for the celebration, along with Minato? It may be "fillerish" but won't it be nice to take a breather?

I think it's more important to see what happens to the shinobi alliance after the war, that is assuming they survive.

Oh yeah, that was pretty funny. Naruto going crazy wondering if Kakashi was lost forever while Kurama is just chillin.
Admittedly I do find the comedy during the battles to be pretty funny. The consequence, at least for me, is that it diminishes the seriousness of the situation and what's at stake. This is the decisive battle to decided the fate of the shinobi world, but I just don't feel the intensity of it thanks to the side comedy.
But maybe that's my own fault for trying force excessive seriousness to it. After all this is a story with a young teen demographic so maybe I should read it in a more light hearted approach.

It's been a few days since I logged only to have to catch up with 15 pages of new comments. My computer wasn't working well, and had to restore it, losing all my stuff in the process. Well, my computer is finally working normally again, and I've got all my programs up again. Now, I have to re-find years worth of anime images lost due to the restore. Let's see what I missed. This will be long post due to all the responses, so please bear with me.
@Question22 and Hanabi
I love your respective avatars and sigs.
we might , what if in the flashback , Kishi shows us how Naruto started having a crush on her , you never know Naruto and Sakura-Chan may have had their little moments when they was small but only naruto might remember the moments . while Sakura-Chan for some reason forgot when she started liking Sasuke . kitten but once again thats wishful thinking on my part ...
I've been waiting to see this for a long while. I believe it was before Sakura met Ino, when she met Naruto before.
Doubt it. If there's a new "Naruto" in the future, expect once again a pairing war. I guess that's one thing that LoK did right even though it was a mess.
LoK?
If you ever read the manga Bleach, you would know.
The problem with us and everyone else is that we don't look at the manga as a whole or in general context, but instead, something pairing related when it's not intended to. That's why you don't hear talk about something so incredibly minor to the context. I will discuss when it's something that either needs to be addressed or something that is obscure. The worst part is that those who oppose will only get the worst of luck because the pairing plot doesn't collide with the actual plot, but it can very well happen here because of Obito. So in other words, if NS gets the center of it, that's incredibly hard to swallow. So in other words, when it happens, this is over. If you choose to continue, so be it, but I will be celebrating.
I read Bleach, and I still don't understand why people call Kubo a troll.
That's a common mistake shippers fall into. We get so hooked on our pairings that we don't care much about the main story other than seeing them together. I myself never really got that bad to dismiss the story outright, but in some cases, the pairings were the main reason I watched the show, and when my ship sank, I lost interest. I still finished them, but I lost most of my interest, and it became a chore to watch. Princess Lover was one such example.
To be honest, it's a bit exaggerated but the one that always comes to mind is the "Who said it goes from 1-10?" scene. I laughed because it was like, "Really?" Remind of KHR where they just said, "Who said these are the REAL henchmen?" with over the top villains.
Well, to be fair, in hindsight, the manga stated all the Espada had single digits. It wasn't really a spur of the moment plot device. I never watched Reborn, so I don't know about that one.
It would be nice to have a moment that is that definitive come up, but as Slextrem said, nothing is going to stop the debating. I'm pretty sure that there are still Harry Potter and Avatar pairing debates - heck, I still think there might be Ranma 1/2 pairing debates. And don't even get started on the Aeris-Cloud-Tifa love triangle from Final Fantasy VII.
That being said, I have high hopes for a NaruSaku moment in the upcoming volume.
This is all very true - people are almost always going to try and rationalize moments in order to fit their preconceived notions of the characters and relationships. That being said, I do think if there is a mutual kiss, or mutual "I love yous" than I think only the most ardent of fans will try and argue that its not canon - though they will still likely have a negative interpretation of the relationship regardless (like the arguments after chapter 458 and 459 came out that Sakura was being guilted into loving Naruto).
Me as well - I really hope that we get a flashback of little Naruto and Sakura - Naruto and Sasuke get a lot of them, and even Sasuke and Karin got one, so why not for Naruto and Sakura? Perhaps when Naruto confesses to Sakura, or if Naruto's love for Sakura plays the role a lot of us NaruSaku fans think it may play in Obito's TnJ.
Oh, its already started. I had the misfortune of stumbling across a one-shot where Naruto and Sakura were getting married, but the whole story focused on how sad Hinata was about it. They portrayed Hinata as a selfless love martyr for suffering through attending Naruto and Sakura's wedding. They made a bunch of the rookies attending the wedding angry at Naruto and/or Sakura for making Hinata sad, and made Naruto and Sakura feel guilty and ashamed when they interacted with Hinata.
Bolded: Yeah, but even so, you have to apply what you've seen so far, and make reasonable speculation. I shipped a pair in this 15 minute anime series, but halfway through I had to realize it would happen rarely, because they hardly have any screen time together in that amount of time, especially compared with another character. I still shipped them, but I wasn't surprised when my ship sank at the very end. I was upset, but I understood why it didn't happen. The other couple got together, but it ended tragically, and the ending to the anime wasn't much of ending as it was left with a "the fight continues" kind of ending. The show had many problems in itself that my shipping was only one of my grievances in watching.
Reminds of this Inuyasha fanfiction I read where Kagome hurts Inuyasha beyond repair, and he ends up with someone else, married with a kid. Also, Kagome gets bashed constantly, throughout the whole thing, by mostly everyone. All because the author had a problem with the "sits".
in all honesty if they do it , why should it matter .? NS will be canon in Kishi's story and thats all that will matter . They could make a fanfic that Naruto and Sakura-Chan both go and hate each other and kill each other but that wouldn't bother me you wanna know why .? because NS is officially canon we have all right to laugh at them if they do something like that . I think in all honesty I will laugh at them alot if they do that .
I would compare that synonymously with all the Sesshomaru X Kagome fanfiction still being written today.
Yeah, you're right. It doesn't matter. It's still such a shame that they'd do this though :(. I just have to resist my curiosity and stay faraway from the opposing fanbases once NS becomes canon, because dear god it'll be a MESS over there. Regardless of the fact that I'd rather stay away from the opposing fanbases, I think I'd want to comfort NH/SS if NS becomes canon. It hurts when your OTP sinks. Believe me. I've been there. So I think they deserve the comfort (but not before I tell them, "I told you so!"
). They're certainly going to bash, but there's nothing you can do about it. The least we can do if NS happens is to help calm them down rather than adding fuel to the inevitable fire.
Show our maturity and comfort them is the right way to go for sure.
Hm.. to be honest , what got me in shipping so to say was Shaman king , yes, there is little to no romance there , but the fact that the girl was a Tsundere type , hiding away her feelings made it very interesting to watch , because when Yo was in danger , she was unable to keep them in so easily . But what got me into romance was Naruto hands down . Because its strong ,selfless etc.. I've watched a lot of anime , but this is my kind of pairing
. I just can't look at any different the way i see NaruSaku.
I can't remember when I first got me into romance. Shipping was much earlier, during when pokemon was airing on KidsWB, but what got me into the romance genre was. . . the closest thing I can remember was either Yusuke and Keiko from Yu Yu Hakusho; or Inuyasha and Kagome from Inuyasha (my third time mentioning that anime).
I don't really mind open endings where pairings are concerned. It depends on the story and how it's executed. As you know from our discussion earlier, Psychox, I ship the pairing Soul/Maka from Soul Eater. Well, it didn't become canon, but there was finally confirmation in the final chapter that Maka felt something more than friendship (Soul already made how he felt pretty obvious a long time ago), and for that particular pairing I was not upset that it wasn't 'official', the implication was enough.
But I don't think that would work here, not because the pairing war would never end, but because it would just be a copout. NaruSaku is probably the most blatantly obvious pairing I've come across, there's too much foreshadowing and yes, too many parallels for it not to be made 'official'.
Aww, Soul and Maka never got together? By the way, I love your sig.
idk. I'm expecting Sasuke to betray Naruto and stab him in the back when he's not looking, or something very similar to that.
We all see that coming, right when the Jubi mess is settled and both Madara, and Obito are defeated. Though how you can even defeat Madara is anyone's guess.
Yup. Actually, I think even without Sakura " dying ", TnJ about love or something like that is very possible than any other to Obito. Not about another issue.
Doesn't mean he can't have a good ol' punch to the face first.
I'm seriously concerned for shikamaru and sakura next few chapters.
Shikamaru, well that's obvious we hope he lives.
Sakura well hope she saves him so it's a great heroine moment, how would people treat her if she saves one of the most popular character (overrated in hinatas case) again? Well this time a character with great development as only a major character. I just hope Kishi averts the hate towards her, giving her a heroine moment like this would be great. Even if tsunade comes to help, all I know is I want to see sakura and tsunade team up.
No matter what she does. The ones who want to hate her will still hate her. It's unfortunate, but what can you do.
If any funny moments came in the manga recently, it would have to be the following:

Kurama insulting naruto about surpassing the hokage in stupidity.
Naruto driving tobirama crazy ( I've laughed at these scenes so much)
Karin and suigetsu acting conflictive and orchimaru telling them to heal tsunade
Suigetsu trying to run away from everyone only to be nailed by Karin

That's all the funny stuff I can remember.
The bolded especially.

Well, looks like I was quoted many times. Time to respond.
LoK?

Legend of Korra.
To be honest, as you quoted it later, it's just an exaggerated impression. I still felt the disappointment from that one arc, but the troll probably started to happen when Kubo kept pulling a plot twist after plot twist after plot twist. After all, it was Aizen. Yeah, you're right about the number, but if the troll doesn't get me, it's the disappointment that does. Off-screen strongest member death? Really. Anyway, yeah, that's my short nutshell story.
Yeah, I can understand what you mean about shipping in series. I just think we probably take it to the pedestal on certain moments. The weird part is that Japan doesn't see it like we do at most times. So what does that tells us? No clue, but we will know. One thing to address is that many of evidences and/or moments or should I say "moments" will be destroyed once the cat is out of the bag or however you say it. Basically, many of them could turn into friendzoned moments or even a new meaning. For example, looking back at 573, it didn't feel anything that I once remember. For whatever reason, I see it much differently. Maybe I'm the only one, but to me, nothing screams romance. So in this next volume, whatever happens, it's going to change a lot for many of us.

Question. So I am having a debate with a person that said the fact that Toriyama made the parings out of revenge for the fans is a fake, but I know I have read on several forums the fact that after the Freiza arc or whatever, he wanted to end DBZ but he couldn't because of the big demands so as a payback, he coupled Goku with Chichi and the other two as a revenge. Is there any actual proof to that? Cause I'd like to counter that person a bit.

I watched DBZ , but im not a fan, Toasty Warrior is one of them and a lot of people here. From what i know is that the only ''romance'' in DBZ was between Gohan and Videl and they kind of had a few moments as far as i recall.. Goku married Chichi because he thought that marriage was some kind of food/snack , but he promised to do it.. That is how well i am informed , sorry that i can't provide with further help

It's the first time I hear something like this.
I'm a dragon ball fan and I know for sure that Toriyama wanted to end the manga right after Goku and Chichi's marriage (which happens at the end of the first series.)
It has been said that Toriyama wanted to extend the manga for just few chapter as an epilogue with Gohan (goku's son) being the protagonist of the story. The fans of course wanted it to continue so it changed to a time skip which still had Goku as the main character but with a family now.
Originally Dragon ball Z was supposed to be called " Dragon ball 2" but the editors misread the "2" for "Z".
So yeah Goku and Chichi were a thing even before this issue.
