Thing is, I did read this chapter. More than once actually, but Sai never said that Sakura loves him.

What you are talking about are all potentials, what if's that still didn't happen. At this point of the manga she didn't do anything significant yet that doesn't involve Naruto. The accused are assumed guilty unless proven otherwise. I will agree with you if after 100 chapters she tries hard to become the clan leader because she thinks it's her role to abolish the curse seal, to make the branch and the main family united. But as of now, I don't see any panels in the manga that tells me she exists other than romance.
I'm not denying that Naruto needs Sakura, or Sakura needs Naruto. My point was that they still had a significant role in the manga without the other.
I haven't seen Hinata do something significant that doesn't involve Naruto yet.
That's why I think there is no meaning to Hinata's character if NaruHina doesn't happen. That doesn't mean it will happen though. Quite the contrary actually.
Not to be blunt or anything, but I see no difference with Hinata and people who think their lives are over if they can't be with the one they love.
This is what I would like Hinata to change in herself, and in sequence, this is what I would like NaruHina fans to realize: if Hinata is not with Naruto at the end, it doesn't mean her character loses everything left to be a character. There's something called "Moving on" which most of the time implies maturity and growth in a person. This would be an awesome culmination of Hinata's character.
Almost all of the characters in the Naruto world have their vision complete. What makes you think that Hinata wouldn't be complete if she leaves Naruto with Sakura and moves on?
Immature love says "I love you because I need you." (Hinata's point of view) Mature love says "I need you because I love you. (Sakura and Naruto's point of view)". When Hinata transforms the former into the latter, this will be the time that she will be realized as a character.

Yep, Naruto is pretty much her whole life.

Yep, Naruto is pretty much her whole life.
We already know this. Too bad her entire existence is dependent on another character.

Le sigh... Of all people to ask that question, it had to be ciardha?
Never mind, she's already answered it in her own "special" way but I might as well enlighten you;
Sakura has had multiple instances in Part 2 (And some canonical/non-canonical instances in Part 1) where she has shown either romantic interest or even something more than friendly intentions towards Naruto...
The hug scene after Naruto defeats Pain is an example of how her feelings are portrayed (friends don't usually hug in Naruto, as it ties in with the cultural aspect of "respecting boundaries" infamous in Japan... And only close friends, family and lovers hug...)
Furthermore, Sakura has started to worry about Naruto in a similar fashion to the way she used to worry about Sasuke, (look through the manga, and you'll see what I'm talking about... If that's not good enough? Any major Sasuke fight in part 1 and Naruto fight in part 2... COMPARE THEM!!!)
There are more examples, but the vets would get back to you on that...

LEAVE HINATA ALONE!!!
She is a very independent character... It's not her fault that NH fans are so busy pushing her as a rivaling heroine to Sakura, that she has virtually no character depth or development...
Well except for her bo--

What's so independant about her? All she ever says is "Naruto-kun" 24/7 and it's really getting annoying. Her character is based on nothing but romance. I know it's against the rules to bash a character here. But Hinata as a character...is just not good at all. You should read my brother's books whenever he gets published. You want action, bad ass characters and an outrajously suspencefull plot setting? Read his story. He's inspired by Kishimoto, and I'll tell you right now...his books...freaking unbeleavable! in the top 5 creative minds of our state I think.

Ah, well it's hard to tell over the web lol. I'm just using my brother's file on here. He dosen't mind Hinata...but I just abolutely despise her. Her english and Japonise voices are just so annoying for me. So, sorry to anyone who likes Hinata here. But I don't

Wait a minute, what did she mean by running after him. Did she meant romantically or getting stronger, because if she meant romantically, I did not see that in the manga.
Also, do you have Sakura translation from viz in ch 573 as well.

Honestly, I dont like where its going. This whole arc is very unfortunate for NS fans. First Sakura confirms that shes still in love with Sasuke, and now this. Sure, Kishi has to feed NH fans from time to time, but did he really need to put such strong, confident words into Hinatas head in order to do that? Nope, he didnt. We, on the other hand, got nothing. Not even short little moment. Its like Kishimoto forgot about Narutos feelings for Sakura.

There's something called "Moving on" which most of the time implies maturity and growth in a person. This would be an awesome culmination of Hinata's character.
I also want Hinata to realize it too.
Her vision was, and always have been Naruto. This is the first point, that makes her different compared to other characters. Her vision is romance, and her character will not be complete until she fulfills it.
And yes, she can move on. I'm not saying she will never move on. But she has been shown time and again that she has no intentions of "moving on." If anything, as time goes by her addiction seems to become stronger. In the future, maybe. But I don't base my opinions on what may happen in the future. I base on what I've seen so far in the manga panels. And so far, I don't see anything that implies she is "moving on".
I'm really not so sure. Before, when Sakura hugged Naruto, I thought hers was the latter. She was happy that the girl Naruto is in love with, was hugging him. She was happy as long as Naruto was safe and happy. But now, it seems like it has turned from the latter to the former. She is now content on holding his hands and walking next to him. If anything, I think her love has become more immature. And it's near the end of the manga!
She is a very independent character... It's not her fault that NH fans are so busy pushing her as a rivaling heroine to Sakura, that she has virtually no character depth or development...

Sorry, I'm not really bashing her. I'm using Hinata's character analysis to show that the argument that, "There will be no point in Sakura's character if NS doesn't happen" isn't really an argument that will help NS. It was necessary that I compare Hinata's character to that of Sakura's to prove my point. I wasn't really saying she "sucks" or she's "stupid". This is not a Hinata bashing, it's talking about NS argument.
And did you meant to say, "boobs"? Yep, that's developed all right

If that's Viz, then...ok? I don't see any problem here.
