I don't like Studio Pierrot art either... I would like the characters to be like how Kishimoto drew them.
Naruto is hot in Kishi's sketches. Not in Studio Pierrot works.

Me too. I don't understand why it's so hard for them to make them similar to the original one.

IMO Studio Pierrot animation on Naruto is really poor. There is a few episodes that are beautiful, but the vast majority of it is highly disappointing.

Hinata have the "wife waiting for her husband to come back from war" look.
I'm wondering if the final product of the movie will have anything like that in the plot. RTN propaganda was a big delusion...

I like how almost everyone in that photo has black hair other than Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi. Makes them really stand out

Well, there are always different animation teams working on such a longterm, yet fast-paced project, and they obviously shift. I used to like SP work during the first part (not everything was managed nicely, oh well...), including some movie scenes too. But somehow along the way everything went downhill.

Yes I agree. They gave her that anxious and worried look you have when you're waiting for someone important.

NaruHina fans believe this is from Kishi. This is hilarious.

Studio Pierrot did a good job in the past. The firsts NARUTO movies were amazingly well animated and the animation on some openings were stunning too...

I think that after too many fillers episodes, the animators were getting lazier and lazier...

Recently, they did a nice animation with Kakashi and Obito's fight.

I think sasuke will play a pivotal role. Since he is the only one who has the power of gravity manipulation.

If you want quality anime, the anime should go 20 episode per season.
Not on weekly basis. Look at bleach, onepiece, and inuyasha for example.
And it depend with the studio too.

I know yes. I understand well that Naruto is not a Studio Ghibli prod, but at least they could be consistent.

The character never have the same face, the same body's shape.

I know it's been a long time, I know the teams must have changed many times... but still...
The art is so poor...

I always thought bleach had good animation, and they're animated by SP too. Maybe it's the art style..

They better not f up Naruto vs Sasuke. Or if we get any action in The Last since it's about the moon. Idk about you guys, but I really didn't like RTN animation. It just seemed so plain and average-episode looking. Didn't feel like I was watching a movie you know?

Thing is they keep working other projects and just leave Naruto like "No one would care because the series is too popular. We got away with it with the filler, so why not." I could have sworn they did another anime just a while ago. But who knows.

Not gonna happen in weekly anime. Perhaps 1 out 5 episode you will see something like that.

If I'm not mistaken, guilty crown last episode has bad quality.

Oh yes Studio Pierrot is doing it.
They put Hinata here to tease fans. Because they want fans to go watch the movie.
She will be in the movie, she's popular, so they put her on the poster. Simple as that.
Studio Pierrot overpushed Hinata in a lot of fillers also.

When in reality, it means nothing because we don't really have the plot other than the moon colliding with the earth

My prediction for this movie so far :
The villain would be orochimaru.
Orochimaru succefully retrieve madara rinnegan. Since he has rinnegan, he can perform all the tech of it. I think he will start bijuu hunt, summon gedo mazo, and becoming jubi jinchuriki.
Most likely he will summon edo tensei, for the like of konoha 11.
Maybe neji vs Hinata, shikamaru vs shikaku, and ino vs inoichi, to name a few.
When orochimaru lose, he will do sephirote. Pull moon back to earth.
Than naruto, sasuke and friend will push it or slow down the speed so there will be no impact.

After that few years later, we see naruto coronation as the 7th hokage.
