^ my reaction exactly, it would explain why Sakura was said "to have a unique look" by Kishimoto, to me this stuck out like hell. Screw Hinata completing Naruto, Sakura literally does complete him. Imo this is a big hint. But lets see what others think.

※ Yellow Flash + Red Habanero = Orange Hokage
※ Sakura is probably a mix of White and Red (red + white = pink). Her dress (part I)/top (part II) is red and her clan's symbol is a white circle.
※ Both orange and pink have something in common: they are warm, combine well unlike orange and blue/violet (Hinata), the combination of these two is a color of kitten, if you don't believe me, try and mix them together. wink.gif

Edit: oh, by the way... if you take both Naru's and Saku's clan symbols + put them on each other + apply their colors you will get something like narutomaki. a_plotting.gif

I think the one reason that Sakura fits best with Naruto is not just complimenting him with her more cautious nature as well as the fact she'll be able to keep him calm in some situations is the simple fact that Naruto's presence, even if Sakura didn't see it or notice it at first, had helped Sakura go more effective as a ninja because he always believed in her abilities from the get-go, and knows how strong she really is when others may not.

The same goes with Sakura; she's seen Naruto's true strength time after time after time, and thus is able to have complete faith in him, like she most likely did in Pain's attack on the Leaf Village, given she didn't show concern but joy that Naruto was on the scene and due to tending to Tsunade, I'm sure even with knowing Naruto was fighting Pain alone, she most likely knew he'd be just fine.

Hinata cares about Naruto, yet she has shown to not know the real Naruto like Sakura does, since she still sees the proud failure rather than someone on their way to becoming Hokage some day. After all, we saw her concern when he got knocked out by Tobi and Sakura reminding her to keep her eyes focused on Tobi himself, or her leaping in to aid Naruto becase he didn't possibly believe he could have gotten loose to counter Pain or in the Chunin Exams when she wanted Naruto to forfeit after he got hit by the 8 Trigrams 64 Palms in spite of the fact she was still hurting from her match with Neji.

Don't get me wrong, I love Hinata, but her character makes her too dependent on Naruto at times and makes her fail to see how much he's grown.

Question: Other than his rescue of her in 559, how many times has Naruto been shown thinking of Hinata (specifically) or talking to her since her confession during the fight with Pein?

I couldn't think of any either. I mean, I don't remember Naruto thinking about Hinata once, much less interacting with her, after her confession. Not until he had to rescue her during the current battle, and then their interaction consisted of him acknowledging her bravery (which was something I think he needed to do no matter what) and giving her another pep talk.

But I'm arguing (elsewhere) with a Hinata fan who claims Naruto has been shown "thinking of Hinata numerous times" since her confession, and I had a real WTF moment trying to recall them. I thought maybe someone here would remember better than I do.

Actually, he thought of her twice after the confession. One was when he saw the destruction he caused after almost going nine tails when Pain stabbed Hinata, wondering if she was okay. The second time was when he was talking to the elder frog about when Hinata was stabbed, though he also mentioned about when he hurt Sakura in chapter 296. Though both of those situations were because of her getting hurt. He has never thought of anything about her confession.

Think of it this way: how has the relationship between Naruto and Hinata grown over the passed chapters to indicate the possibility of the pairing happening. The answer:Was there a relationship to begin with? The fact of the matter is, Naruto has either been oblivious or indifferent to the actions of Hinata. Hell, even during her fight in the Chunin Exams had more to do between him and Neji than her. Even after that, Naruto didnt look in to seeing her once his fight was over. Now consider this: what would it take to make Naruto lose interest in Sakura and look for Hinata? From what we've seen, that has yet to even begin from happening.

Yup. Nothing about her confession. And She confessed before both of those incidents too.

Oh save your breath. We all very well know that they think their little miss drama queen is the key character for everything and are to stubborn to even bother to look at NS evidence. You may as well be talking to a brick wall. I'm not saying they're all bad, but untill one of the two happens, they'll continue to say NH will be cannon. No "if, ands or buts" in their logic. NH is already cannon according to them.

I wish one of these two would happen!
1: Hinata dies. (prefured so her fanbase will shut their mouths. And I hate Hinata anyway. Far too overrated for my liings!)
2: NS is comfirmed cannon. Which by looking at the MAJOR hint above, it looks like it'll happen anyways.

Weren't they saying the exact same thing after Hinata's confession. Weren't they yelling NH IS CANON! and all that BS. Yeah, payed off really good huh? Idiots. I am sorry, but I have HAD IT with that fanbase! Good freaking God! Buy some ears a brain and some eyes. Jeezus Christ! rawr.gif

Thanks very much for reminding me. I considered the first one to be part of the confession scene, but I had forgotten about the second one you mentioned.

Not only did Naruto NOT look for Hinata after the fight was over, he was with Sakura instead. More telling (in my opinion, at least) is that Naruto and Sakura then encounter Tazuna and Inari, and when Tazuna finds out Sasuke is not around he asks if Naruto and Sasuke and Sakura were caught up in a love triangle, and Naruto laughs uncomfortably and says, "No way." Although the main purpose was to cover for Sasuke's criminal behavior, Naruto was also LYING about the triangle.

If NaruHina happen(which I think it wont) and if Naruto redeems Sasuke. What was the point of Sakura's character and her relationship with Naruto. What would be her development in the series.

It just don't add up at all, that is some of the reason why I think NaruHina won't happen and NaruSaku will. Come on, if you walk up to Kishi and ask him a honest question about who is currently the most romantic development paring you wrote in the series, what paring do you think he is going to say.

What do you think the point of Sakura character is, if NaruHina happens and Naruto redeems Sasuke, what was her purpose in the manga.

Actually that argument could be used the other way around. What was the point of Hinata's character if Naruto doesn't return her feelings? Her character revolves solely around Naruto, and him only. Naruto is her everything. You cannot even describe her character without mentioning Naruto.

On the other hand, Sakura's character can exist without Naruto. Sakura has been one of the biggest support for Naruto, fought against Akatsuki, the new Sannin, and is currently solving the clue to uncover the mystery of Zetsu and his plant clones. Even without the romance, she has a significant role, bigger than that of Shikamaru.

That is why it's really a pity if Naruhina doesn't happen. Because a character who exists solely for love, will be rejected of that purpose.
And this statement of mine isn't even a least bit of proof for NaruHina. If any, it only proves how Kishi made Hinata a lame character.

OMFG I just realized how biased the anime people are, LOOk

http://manga.animea....505-page-2.html

Look here Sakura has blushes and Hinata does not, and in the episode of this chapter in the manga guess which girl has blushes. I will give you a hint HINATA kittening HYUGA. I am so sick and tired of their treatment towards Sakura and Hinata, they make Sakura look really bad and HInata look rally good. I wish Kishimoto would kill HInata, by having Sasuke stab her with a sword, or even better. Naruto should kill her ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Why are the anime so biased.

... where does Sakura has a blush? She is just smiling, like everyone else.
"We live in a world that is so quick to convince us to ignore our feelings. Feeling stressed? Get a massage. Feeling angry? Go to the bar with your friends and blow off steam. Feeling lonely? Meet someone in cyberspace and have a conversation on the computer. Depressed? Take a pill. Anxiety? Take 2 pills. Feeling happy? Well, by George, don’t talk about that because no one likes a bragger. Same with being sad, no one likes a Debbie Downer. But, heaven FORBID, that you actually TALK about your feelings and process them in a healthy way."

Yeah, the anime version of the pic is so altered. And it really delivers a different message (to the anime audience) by pulling Hinata to the forefront and tucking Sakura in behind her. When you think the bulk of the NH fans come to it from the anime, it's not hard to understand why after scenes like that.

I've said it before, but I'll repeat it here: The picture speaks volumes on another level, from artist to viewer, bridging any language gap. Most obviously, Sakura is turned and fully engaged. But just as important is the empty space beside her, implying that Naruto will be going to stand there. Their sightline is the same, meaning when he turns he will look to her first. And then the viewer feels the momentum of his movement, that he's been captured in mid-stride, and in the next step he will take his place and turn around. The darkness of Hinata's hair is meant to offset the whiteness of that empty spot as well as Naruto and Sakura's hair. In short, it's a visual trick push the viewer's eye toward the focus of the image, a happy Naruto and a reciprocating Sakura.

On another topic entirely, it's interesting that Hinata has the most potential romances in the manga. Naruto, Kiba, Shino, Neji, random Hyuuga...even Sasuke. Sort of makes you feel that Kishi is giving the NH fans lots to fall back on. She could have a soft landing on any one of those boys.

If Sakura was being prepped to turn away from her confessed love for Naruto, then Kishimoto would be giving her a lot of alternatives as well. But it's not the case. And that's the same for Naruto. He's writing these characters as single-minded and determined in their focus — even in love.

Anyway, it seems that Hinata's buffet of boys gets lost under the argument that she has to get Naruto because she loves him sooooo much. When really, she has people all around her who acknowledge and care for her. To what depth we don't yet know. But that's way more than most characters can claim.

...I'm sorry to break it to you, but I see absolutely no sign whatsoever of anything resembling a blush on Sakura's face in that panel. Seriously. Her cheeks are completely blank.
