Well the "I'm gonna stop chasing for you once and for all" has to happen... probably that will be her feelings resolution.

Not sure. I personally think that her feelings need to be resolved, in realizing that naruto loves sakura by herself or naruto rejecting her. Some people say that theres a possibility tat she will be fully ignored from now but i think a character with such a huge fanbase just needs a resolve for her feelings. Well see, maybe that happens in this arc, if naruto has some romantic contact with sakura.

The thing is that Kishi has lately shows that he doesn't really see anything fitting for Hinata's love life. I think the least he can do is bring it up, but not replacing Sakura at all. I do think in his mind, he only sees Team 7 love triangle and nothing else. Hinata is getting these developments for herself, as same can be said for others (Shikamaru, Ino). If Hinata sees a repeat from chapter 450, then she is done. Otherwise, it depends.

almost done, she needs the definitive conclusion for herself: Getting or not Naruto. It all depends from Naruto. But if we knows very him, well we would already know naruto's response...

I know. Just be warned that there's a good chance that Kishi will brush it off and act like a fanservice moment. Side characters don't get that much opportunity. If there's no resolve, then oh well.

Nope it's bad writing if he starts pairing everyone, he does not need to resolver Hinata's feelings, because Naruto give her no reasons for her to stop loving him, If Naruto loves Sakura, there's nothing she can do, she may be happy because Naruto is happy but it's not something that you need to focus on Hinata, she's a side character, it's the same with Naruto, if Sakura ends up with the emo guy, Naruto will still love Sakura no matter what, and this is bad because he will suffer, Naruto's feelings for Sakura will not vanish.
With Sakura is different, Sasuke give her a lot of reasons for her to give up on her painful love for him, and her loves is not strong as before, and she showed feelings for Naruto, Sakura's case is different than Hinata's.


Who needs to be resolved is Sakura not Hinata.

Yes, Hinata does not need any confidence boosts from Naruto, she showed that does not need him on terms of "cheer up", for me her development is done.
A lot of people says that "she has to get rid" of the "all for Naruto" but i doubt he will change that.
She will never surpass Neji in terms of strength, and on 573 she already said that would stop trying to become stronger when she said "i'll stop chasing you".
She already accepted what she is and her "power level".

I wanted to say that it wouldnt be good to just forget hinata from now. Kishi should at least show her realizing that naruto loves someone else. I wasnt saying that everybody needs to be paired up, i also think that would be bad.
I mean even if she will be totally ignored from now on i wouldnt mind, but i think it would be fair to show it for the hinata fans.

Agreed. It would be unsettling to have her feelings ignored, especially since it's the basis of her character.

Depends. Mangaka usually ignore the side character after the development. If Hinata doesn't find out Naruto's love or Kishi just say screw it and let it be done, then yes, she is done.

As much as I would love for that to happen, I don't think that's a possibility. Her feelings for Naruto are pretty much the driving force of her character.

I can't see any more pairing advancement for Hinata, but there is plenty of opportunity for her to grow more as a character and learn to stand on her own feet. (Obviously she's well on her way to that)

I think she's already reached that point. This chapter and the previous one showed that she does have a back bone, even though it took Neji's death for it to really be shown But I think this time it's going to be permanent. She only can grow a pair when it's a dire situation and Naruto is involved in some way, shape, or form. She regressed after her confession, which was shown in 558 - 559. But this time I think it's officially here.

I love the fact that Kishi came up with a way to make Hinata's claim of "holding hands" with Naruto to have a tactical meaning behind it. It all started with Kurama giving Kakashi chakra. Yep. Based on Naruto's character, it's pretty obvious he isn't changing. 616 chapters later and we still haven't seen anything slightly hinting that Naruto has romantic feelings for Hinata.

I had a very intriguing thought regarding the cover, As it was explained by a respected user on the chapter discussion thread Sakura's weapon is a support weapon, as compared to Naruto using full samurai swords, could it be since (according to research Samurai's wives used this and protected the home) Sakura travels back to Konoha when a message is sent it is under attack (most likely, its oro afterall) and Sakura goes to help mount a defensive there, it wuld totally tie in everything, from the picture to the symbolization

Naruto and Sakura are actually there, not a scroll like Sasuke... And those are Samurai costumes. And Sakura's costume resembles Samurai wives.

Well, maybe Sakura will need extra amounts of chakra in order to help Naruto in his fight but at the beginning has a difficult time absorbing it since it's a tremendous amount of power. Naruto worries while he sees her struggle to control it and then remembers how Mito advised Kushina about the importance of filling the vessel of the beast with love.

So Naruto decides to fill Sakura with his love by kissing her forehead as he keeps transferring chakra. That helps Sakura calm down and concentrate on controlling the extra power.

I just want Sakura to do something badass without needing Naruto's chakra in order to accomplish it. That'd definitely separate her from the rest of the group. I'd be ok if she does receive chakra, but only after she shows an incredible feat.
