Oh shut up. It's really stupid to bother a professional about pairings, regardless of your desires. I can't believe this, so kittening embarrassing. -___-
Daaaaaaannnng son, why we gotta be all butthurt?
Pls shame me for procrastinating.

I'm ashamed of being part of this fandom when I see some comments here as a reaction to the assistant's tweet (or even reaction to the ending itself). Ashamed of being put in the same bag as those who write so childish and disrespectful thing about both the assistant and Kishimoto. I never thought there would be a day I'd side NH/SS fans, but I can't help but agree with them when they are saying how disrespectful NS fans reaction is, though I know they would be the same if not worse if NS did happen.
I'm glad there is still some people here who are sane and calm about the whole situation.

"Nobody can ship NS openly now"? lol what? who cares about any of that? people are going to ship NS regardless of canon and nothing's going to stop them. Certainly not the actions of a couple of fans.
I agree! I am not embarrassed about shipping NS. Or about admitting it!
And on NH/S fans they were rude (to put it nicely) for years. They already think we are a joke.
And I don't care!

No it isn't. NS didn't happen-- get over it. I like the pairing too but sometimes you don't get what you want. And when that happens there's no reason to throw a tantrum to the ones who make the series. Also keep in mind that foreigners doing this creates a bad rep for all western readers. All the assistant sees is a mob of fans from across the world harrassing him about the decisions his superior made and disrespecting his work. Some people need to think about that before they act on selfish desires.

I'm sane
But can't ship NS openly, really? Who cares what others say or do. The other fandoms have crazy people too.

That's what a fandom is about, because every person copes different with "lost" things. I'm not saying that such reactions are approvable, but I also can understand the frustration those people are feeling and I guess they want to make their dissapointment clear. There is nothing wrong to say "I don't like it because *insert reason here*". I am frustrated and wished I could tell Kishimoto directly why I am. You might not feel that way and accepted what happened. However, that doesn't mean everyone has to do the same.
But yes, the petition is nothing that should have been created and the assistant shouldn't be attacked or bullied.
Your wish has been heard loud and clear!

How disrespectful WE are?
That's also why the second i made a post about how I didn't care about the canon ending ON MY OWN TUMBLR and that I was just going to ignore it and live in my own little world I got an asshat basically calling me a loser and delusional while they rubbed their canon in my face, right? but that was because I was being a disrespectful narusaku who needs to go die, AMIRITE?

One thing to keep in mind is. many people followed the story for straight up 15 years. And spent kitten load of money on Naruto over the years. So it's understandably why they are angry!

Just because of a romance subplot? Seriously? If the manga doesn't please anymore you why are you all still talking about it? Because it had a big impact in your life, it was one of your favorite manga for all those years wasn't it? Or else why did you still follow it every week?
Whatever excuse you can get as to why you still talk about it you won't change the fact that it affected your life, you discovered a great story and just because one character didn't end up with the one you thought he would end up with, that great story became a crappy manga?
I don't understand how NS fans can't just imagine that they were the one getting a wrong idea of the romance subplot when there were so many NH/SS fans here and in Japan (at least SS and recently I saw that NH was almost as popular as NS on Internet since 615).
I'll soon post a long rant about why I'm satisfied with NH/SS ending even though I still like NS.

I'm talking about the disresepct directed at the work and the mangaka. Disresepct among the fandom is another thing. Disresepcect among the fandom is nothing new.

That's the only thing I was asking for. Where did I asked other to think the same way as me, that's to say accept defeat without complaining? But thank you to understand my reaction to the attack towards the assistant and Kishimoto.

There was nothing ambiguous about this!

Most western fans spend very little money on Naruto or nothing at all. In contrast most Japanese take the time to buy shounen jump every week when it's released in their area.
The issue is that many have become too emotionally invested in the series, especially pairings. When NS didn't happen several people in the fandom exploded and raged to the point where they were not only bashing Kishimoto but outright insulting him to his assistant. That's extremely embarrassing and immature.

Seriously, stop this self-righteous nonsense. People are frustrated and they vent. Let them be. If you don't like it, then you can simply skip over the posts.
tricksie gave a strict warning against this type of posts. LET PEOPLE VOICE THEIR OWN OPINION.
So what if Kishimoto is professional? The way he ended this series is not very professional and our 'embarassing' fandom isn't the only one who thinks so. More than half of the Naruto series fans have the same opinion !

Okay, but I only see you calling out NS on this "disrespectful conduct" If you have no intention of calling out the idiocy of others than you have no place calling "US" out just because its being directed at "Professionals" A person is a person.
Also, no one here to my knowledge has HARASSED any "Professionals" we've only joked about it.
So again, whats the problem?
