[Sakamaki Izayoi]

I'm not talking about whether he'll become Hokage now. I'm talking about whether he could become one right now.

What prevents him from being Hokage are two things:

1) Tsunade is the Hokage right now
2) He refuses to become one before Sasuke has been dealt with

Other than that I don't believe there's any other reason to say Naruto isn't ready to be Hokage. Arguments like age or his level of maturity just seem forced given the examples I previously mentioned with Gaara and A.

The problem is Naruto is selfish when it comes to Sasuke, different than Gaara who put the village's will above his personal desires he wanted to save Sasuke but he was a kage and his duty was to protect.

Naruto is not like that, when the village made a decision to kill Sasuke he said "i personally want to save him" Shikamaru got this and said "Are you going to team up with him?" when he comes, pretty much saying the possibility of Naruto betraying Konoha and that was harsh.
Shikamaru pratically punch his face.

Itachi said something similar Naruto has to stop thinking that he's the only one that cna do this or that.
I think this is were Sakura comes in, i think for some reason Naruto does not accept Sakura taking risk when it comes to Sasuke, he wants to handle it alone, when on that confession arc he even asked Sai to not tell Sakura what he was going to do.

Agreed. He's far from being mature enough to be Hokage at the moment.

He said he wants to surpass in strenght but why does he need to be intelligent if he has Sakura, i think Sakura complements him, this is one of the reasons why NH does not make sense, the pep talks were retarded, he looked like on 616 like he had the answer all along, 615 he had autism for Hinata's development.
I think even Hinata had autism there because seriously everyone cried even Neji, tenten but not Hinata? she didnt even touch Neji...

Just to finish is that sakura left the spotlight for a while but i think is because something big will happen to her.

O; well i thought kakashi was next in line for hokage. Personally, I do think Tsunade will die (she will be probably one of the last "old" ninja that possibly can die). Due to an interview with Kishi, he said something along the lines of ... like how Sakura needs to grow up. Everyone has grown up and "taken" the role of their previous masters in a way, living on and continuing their legacy. However, I feel like Tsunade has like one final thing to do... but I'm not too sure what it is...

Naruto isn't in the right mindset as some people already stated to take the role of Hokage. He still has tons of things to learn and many other mountains to climb and what not.

What Itachi said is probably correct too. Naruto isn't the only one who can bring back Sasuke. Sakura might come in as a heroine I imagine... you know and add on to what Naruto has to say. But you know Sasuke, it's gunna take alot to stop him... and change who he is. (Maybe Kishi will make a post saving Sasuke arc where it's like all about "saving" him mentally or whatever) But... I dunno how they'd do it... fighting isn't gunna solve anything...talking things out is a maybe, but what could possibly change his mind? It seems way complicated to say anything about the future at this point T.T.

Besides that... Naruto is about achieving things as a group, not an individual. It just emphasizes how lonely Naruto really is. He needs to learn how to trust and rely on his friends. Like neji said, his life isn't just his now. It's shared by many people D: so he can't be all selfish and stuff!

Mmmm... at this point...I see Sakura coming in... Soon. very very soon. She'll do something big too probably with naruto. heheh. But. ... mmm what are you thinking Kishi?

Naruto isn't the only one who can bring back Sasuke.

Based on the manga so far, Naruto is the only one who can bring back Sasuke. Kakashi believes it, Sakura believes it, Itachi believes it, and most important of all, Naruto believes it (lol).

This manga has clearly been hinting for the longest that it's all up to Naruto to bring Sasuke back to his senses. The annoying emphasis on their bond, the motivation, and Naruto's will to never give up is why I firmly believe that Naruto will do what Jiraiya failed to do in regards to his friend. It's so obvious that even Stevie wonder and Ray Charles can see it.

Naruto said that he will surpass his parents and will be the best and coolest Hokage right? let's see about this:

He has to be Hokage a young age, a least younger than Minato or to equal Gaara.
To redeem Sasuke
The ranking he is a genin ( I think Sasuke is already a Chunnin, remember Gaara vs Sasuke he was going after Gaara, then Genma named Sasuke a chunnin, but maybe i am wrong, may be just occurred in the anime, but it is true perhaps Kishi will use that to show a cruel scene of comedy messing the rank of Naruto like Blood prision)

Even in love , Minato and Kushina began in the genin days of them. Naruto did not have that luck, a least in progress with that.

I know this points are not important , but they count a little.

Honestly... no. Karins has had much of effect on Sasuke than Sakura ever did during his Team 7 days. Otherise, who would never hesitate to kill Sakura like he's done with Karin.

I do believe that Naruto is the only person that can redeem Sasuke besides himself.

What i said is Naruto not handling everything by himself, maybe he will need help to take out the Taka members but the fight will be Naruto vs Sasuke alone because Naruto is the only one that can save him plus Naruto wants to make Sasuke view him as an equal, so he has to beat Sasuke, and moreover Sakura cant/wont change Sasuke, she means nothing to him, just look at Sasuke, he was going to kill Sakura without hesitation but if it was Naruto i doubt he could kill him, this is so true that what he wants is to destroy Naruto's beliefs even saying "i'll kill you" for me is just a bluff.

It's funny how Naruto and Sasuke, the ones who'll probably end up being the most powerful characters of the series, are still lowly genin.

Although, Shion in the first Shippuden movie acknowledged by the end that enemies should be weary of a certain genin. Then again, she might've just been flirting given that she wanted to have sex with him.

I think Naruto has just about reached the peak of his maturity. The only thing left he has to learn is decision-making skills.

Not sure. I personally think that her feelings need to be resolved, in realizing that naruto loves sakura by herself or naruto rejecting her. Some people say that theres a possibility tat she will be fully ignored from now but i think a character with such a huge fanbase just needs a resolve for her feelings. Well see, maybe that happens in this arc, if naruto has some romantic contact with sakura.

Depends. Mangaka usually ignore the side character after the development. If Hinata doesn't find out Naruto's love or Kishi just say screw it and let it be done, then yes, she is done.

I can't see any more pairing advancement for Hinata, but there is plenty of opportunity for her to grow more as a character and learn to stand on her own feet. (Obviously she's well on her way to that)
