Ino is even more vain and hormonally delusional than they generalize Sakura as being. True she cries less frequently and she does have a KG but I still prefer Sakura to her. Perhaps it has to do with Sakura being one of only three K12 rookies who does not have a KG or an inherited chakra entity to exploit that makes me enjoy her more as a character. Well that and I like her personality more. Plus she just has that heroine/lead female "vibe" about her. I've heard some people suggest what it would be like if Tsunade had taken Ino as her apprentice instead of Sakura. Well for starters Ino is less intelligent than Sakura. The Databook confirms this with the intelligent stat. She would become an advanced medic, no doubt, but she wouldn't have the same potential as Sakura IMO since Sakura was naturally a genjutsu type who requires a high degree of analytical and intellectual ability. Secondly Ino's abilities and fighting style are supplementary in design. I can't help but think that learning and using Tsunade's super strength would conflict with that. Of course it could potentially help her in using Shintenshin for all we know. Well, I just don't like the concept and it wouldn't be the best choice to have as an apprentice going by the strengths and weaknesses of the kunoichi in the K12.

I enjoyed reading your post about the heroine of the series on tumblr. Good kitten.

His reason was fairly ignorant. I think it was something along the lines of "Ino's flashback of Sakura says it all"

I don't agree with a lot of the stuff he spits out, but I am not offended. Because he does not shove NH up in my face all the time. (OK, maybe the last chapter XD). And he can admit when he is wrong, and I don't blame people for not liking Sakura when Kishi has been wasting her potential. I think that is about to change. But he said something that really caught me off guard. Ino has more potential than Sakura? ...No, I have nothing more to say.

It was a romantic moment, and doesn't downplay it, but it definitely removes any romantic intention on Naruto's part. Once again.

He gave the main Ino-Shika-Cho more chakra (and held their hands longer) because they were the main practitioners of the plan; same with Hinata, I think.

Actually, it does downgrade from Naruto's part, not Hinata. Heh, it's always about Naruto.
Of course he held more the chakra because in one of the translations Kurama says sorry I had to keep you waiting this much or something like this.
But anyway, the thing is, with Shikamaru he did take his hand longer, to say like this.
That was drawn to show different sides of the same action.
Also, if you notice, he gives chakra to specific clans such as Ino-Shika-Chou as they were part of the plan.

I rarely get pissed off, but this crap is something I can't ignore, seeing as I'm a devoted Sakura fan.

Wow. I haven't watched his videos in years because he says things like this. That comment reinforces my decision to stay away from his channel. He's bias, but pretends he's not, and he likes to subtly attack NaruSaku/Sakura whenever he can. I don't understand why so many NaruSaku fans subscribe to him.

I prefer to watch TwilightLink21xx for chapter reviews. At least he doesn't attack Hinata and pretends he didn't. Plus he gives much more in-depth reviews, which I like. Sawyer, from what I remember, just summarizes the chapter (which is not a review) and inserts a joke here or there.

...But he didn't hold it for a long time. It seems that way because of the three week break we took after 615, but if you read 615 and then 616, he really doesn't hold her hand any longer than he needs to. In 615, he moves her hand off of his face, thanks her for the encouragement, charges up his power, and begins to transfer his chakra. In 616, he completes the chakra transfer in one panel ( http://www.mangapanda.com/naruto/616/7 ) and then lets go of her hand to make clones (on the next page). He does what he needs to do and then moves on. It's not like she got any special kind of treatment. He was just following the plan.

Maybe you're right. x) I thought he was right at first, because he held her hand at the end of 615, and is still holding her on the beginning of 616. It was probably only seconds in the manga, but three weeks for us. What was really unecessary of him was that he put "Naruto didn't need to hold Hinata's hand : D" in the description, and nothing more. The chapter was not about that..oh well, I still have his One Piece reviews. :3

I find it funny that near the end he explains what are the 3 main themes of Naruto which coincidentally can be applied to NaruSaku

1) Never giving up (Naruto won't give up on winning Sakura over no matter how hard it seems)
2) The new generation surpasses the old one (JiraTsu, ObiRin, MinaKushi, they all got bad ends but NaruSaku will get the good end)
3) Naruto has the power to change people (throughout the series Naruto has caused Sakura to change her perspective of him which in turn has made her kinder)

Why are some people saying Naruto is not ready to be Hokage? I can't think as to why not expect that Tsunade still holds the title.

- It can't be about age since Gaara is the same age as him.
- It can't be about his high energy given that we have a certain Raikage who thinks it's better to punch through walls instead of opening doors.

I honestly think that Mabui (Raikage's secretary) spent her entire time either forcing the Raikage to the paperwork or maybe doing it herself. Speaking of which, wasn't Mabui at HQ, she wasn't shown when it was destroy so we only assume she was there. I guess she also died then. I would've thought Kishi could've at least shown one panel with her. Maybe when the scene is animated it will happen.

Naruto said so many times that he wont be hokage until he saves Sasuke, this is the reason why he wont be hokage after this arc.
Even if she dies or whatever happens he will reject the invite.

I'm not talking about whether he'll become Hokage now. I'm talking about whether he could become one right now.

What prevents him from being Hokage are two things:

1) Tsunade is the Hokage right now
2) He refuses to become one before Sasuke has been dealt with

Other than that I don't believe there's any other reason to say Naruto isn't ready to be Hokage. Arguments like age or his level of maturity just seem forced given the examples I previously mentioned with Gaara and A.
