So Starbucks has a "buy one, get one free" thing going on from 2-5 PM through Sunday.

All the coffee double kittening?
ALL THE COFFEE DOUBLE-kittening.

Jwolf0's Wildly Inaccurate Week 11 Picks!

Fosters Home For TDs (Mik3) vs. Reavers! (Insurrection)
-Fosters Home For TDs favored by ~7.

Somewhat of a gut call here. I think the wrong Denver RB is getting the heavier projection, and I expect Michael Bush to do better than 7 points against Minnesota.

The Golden Thumbs (Rick) vs. All we do is lose (Illmatic)
-All we do is lose favored by ~6.

Bleh. I trust Illmatic to look at his lineup first.

Gama Warriors (Nee-sama) vs. Ellicott Thundercats (True)
-Ellicott Thundercats favored by ~12.

Leap of faith time, I don't think Houston's D stays there all weekend and I think hope that the Seahawks load up to contain Steven Jackson. Also, I am amused to see Tarvaris Jackson in a lineup, so why not?

Leatherbacks (Nick Soapdish) vs. The Wulfpack (Burning_wulf)
-Leatherbacks favored by ~51.

The 'pack has 3 byes, but you're not gonna dig up 50 points or so of replacement players this late in the season.

The All-49er Team (Nate River) vs. Tokyo Raiders (roninmedia)
-The All-49er Team favored by .33

I'm not Wacko for Flacco by any means, but the Bengals losing their best CB (Leon Hall) hurts a LOT. There's also the feeling that the Ravens will feed Ray Rice all day long after that 5 carry debacle in Seattle (LOLOLOLOL), and that BEAST MODE will continue to pound it down a soft Rams run D.

Sparky McRandomsons (Jwolf0) vs. Zatties! (Zatren6)
-Sparky McRandomsons favored by ~11.

Can Matthew Stafford shake off that horrible performance against the Bears? Does the Shanahan Wheel O' Running Backs land on Helu again this week? This doesn't have the feel of a high scoring affair one way or the other, but...
"SPRING FORTH BURLY PROTECTOR TONY ROMO AND SAVE ME."

Yes, I went there again.

Greene: 3 carries, 10 yards. Crud. I surived an even worse performance by Gore last week (also injury related). Will I do it again?

C'mon Jordy, Dez, and the Jacksonville D: Bail me out again!

Rick doesn't check his team as much as he should but thanks to Matt Cassel being out for the year his kicker and defense put up 38 fantasy points against the Chiefs

Also....Gronkowski.

Week 11 Quick Recap!

Fosters Home For TDs 88.20
Reavers! 138.30
-Nate Washington, where did you come from? And Rob Gronkowski, what else is there to say about you? Catches TDs on his head and doesn't afraid of anything, drapes his jerseys on attractive movie stars of dubious value.... We might have Tom Brady's replacement as New England's celebrity du jour in a couple of years.

The Golden Thumbs 112.50
All we do is lose 106.85
-Wow. Just... wow. Ph33r t3h BYE TEAM. And Illmatic put up enough points to beat all but 4 other teams in the league this week too. Y U SO BAD KC?

Gama Warriors 72.00
Ellicott Thundercats 69.90
-Well, this was probably as close to a Cleveland Browns game as we're going to get. Not pretty at all, but style points don't matter when you win. Nee-sama, sorry about Tarvaris. That was a pretty crap game from him.

Leatherbacks 116.30
The Wulfpack 73.10
-Ho-hum, the Pats waxed the Chefs (Great Googly-Moogly) and Brady had a ho-hum game for him. Not that Nick needed it, only three of his players didn't reach double digits.

The All-49er Team 100.20
Tokyo Raiders 86.60
-It's all about Jordy Nelson this week! And a couple of black holes on roninmedia's side in Mario Manningham and the Bills D. (0.40 and -1.00. Ugh)

Sparky McRandomsons 94.60
Zatties! 123.25
-If only the Panthers-Lions game ended after the first quarter or so. 5 TDs? Seriously? Too many single-digit passengers on the Tony Romo bus (Last stop Thanksgiving, everyone get off before he crashes in December!) for him to carry.

Pick record last week: 3-3
Season pick record to date: 43-17

Current League Standings After Week 11!
-Congrats to Nick Soapdish for locking up a playoff spot. After that... there's a HUGE muddle. No one is mathematically eliminated from playoff contention yet!

Nelson looks like he's becoming a Rodgers favorite, especially in the endzone, which is a very good thing for me. 9 TD catches this year and a number of them have been long-bombs. With Matt Ryan showing up more consistenly things are looking up. Jordy's my waiver wire gem.

The playoff race is interesting. Insurrection is in despite being 2-6 at one point. I have a realistic shot if I can win both of my next two games (doable--though not guaranteed) after starting 0-5 and shipping Foster for essentially Dez Bryant (Williams is a space eater and Kolb is gone).

And Manningham....there was a reason I ditched him awhile ago. He just hasn't been what I thought he would be.

Thats what sucks abut having Greg Jennings, He is great, but like the Saints, the Packers can spread the ball and Jordy Nelson is phenomenal in the slot and its killing Jennings' numbers. At least with Kolb gone Fitzgerald has discovered the endzone again and again.

Cards were in World Series man, also I got unlucky, lost 1 due to stat correction and the Defense was awry and horrible until I grabbed Frisco.

I lost 3 games by a combined point total of less than 10.

The point was that we both might have shots despite having some crummy records that would normally suggest we were done a month ago.

Not really, but the draft recap is available so it's easy to see beginning rosters.

Looking back at it, I have to laugh at my draft. I curse Mendenhall at 7, but I don't see anyone else I would have taken there except maybe Brady. Meanwhile my Antonio Gates gamble didn't pay off; should've gone with Greg Jennings after all.

It's hard for me to reevalute only because 4 picks were autopicks and as I said then, not picks I would have normally made.

Foster was worth the number one and I m screwed that up by not holding on to Tate and handcuffing him. I thought he'd play week one and by the time it was clear he would not, I had already dropped and lost Tate.

Gore has actually justified his pick despite being a stinker earlier on. Greene, while halfway decent, has not. Gore's poor start, followed by the Foster injury, and the poor starts by Greene and Ryan, cause me to make a panic trade that has been a loser. Dez has been decent, but that's it.

I think it's ironic that my worst manual pick was Manningham, who was a dud for 5 weeks before I gave up, who dood, thought was my best. And the person who you thought was my worst, AJ Green, was probably my best. Of course, I ditched Green after the Foster trade because of roster space so I didn't get to capitilize on that.

My fantasy start was horrid because of auto-draft, injuries, and poor management (foster trade, dumping Green and Tate, believing in Kolb over Newton)

I was saved primarily becausre Gore started producing, Jordy Nelson, Matt Ryan producing and me finding a genuinely servicable compliment for weeks when I think he will stink (i.e. not Kolb) in Andy Dalton, and my luck with D's. Jacksonvilles 12.00 was the lowest I have had in a quiet awhile (Cincy has been great with Jacksonville and Carolina being more than adequate fill ins when I used them). Oh, and San Fran's plentiful field goal kicking. They seem to kick a lot of them.

My guiding principle on picking D's: Figure out who is playing the Colts and start them. It's worked very well.

You were right on Peyton Hillis at least. And on Matt Ryan being a wild card.

Speaking of my principle on D's. Carolina has Indy....a truly bad offense against a D that just gave up 49 points to Detroit. Might be the one time I don't go with that.

And I've just lost Fred Jackson. I already had him benched for the week, but it's disappointing that he doesn't come back at all.

But WHYYYYYYYYYYYY? I'm so tired, why did I wake up at 4 AM? BLARG.

Jwolf0's Wildly Inaccurate Week 12 Picks!

Fosters Home for TDs (Mik3) vs. The Golden Thumbs (Rick)
-Fosters Home for TDs favored by ~25.

Welcome back Rick! Not the best matchup to come back to though. Arian Foster and DeMarco Murray shouldn't have many problems with Jacksonville and Miami respectively. Also, Colt McCoy?

Gama Warriors (Nee-sama) vs. All we do is lose (Illmatic)
-All we do is lose favored by ~5.

Will AARONRODGERS actually get enough help this time to win a game for Illmatic? I say yes, in the form of DeSean Jackson and Steve Smith. Starks being a game-time decision isn't helping Nee-sama either.

Leatherbacks (Nick Soapdish) vs. Ellicott Thundercats (True)
-Leatherbacks favored by ~15.

So what's with Chris Johnson? Your guess is as good as mine. But even if he gets dialed in against a soft Tampa Defense (and it still feels weird to type that), still too many weapons on Nick's side even with Fred Jackson out.

The All-49er Team (Nate River) vs. The Wulfpack (Burning_wulf)
-The All-49er Team favored by ~6.

Fighting for their playoff lives. With only this week and next left in the regular season, both teams are currently on the outside looking in and neither team can afford anything less than a convincing win. With the Ravens D/ST looking mortal these last few weeks (Ray Lewis questionable, Seattletrololol) Frank Gore can find some running room if he stays healthy. Jordy Nelson will be Nate's key to a high score though. On the beastly side, it may have to be Jonathon Stewart to lead the charge. I have a hard time seeing Earl Bennett doing much.

Zatties! (Zatren6) vs. Reavers! (Insurrection)
-Reavers! favored by ~25.

James Jones seems to be the forgotten man in GB right now, and too many weapons on the other side in the two Mikes (Turner and Bush) and Rob Gronkowski.

Sparky McRandomsons (Jwolf0) vs. Tokyo Raiders (roninmedia)
-Sparky McRandomsons favored by ~7.

Team Longname needs this one to stay in the playoff chase, and the hope here is that duo of Torrey Smith and Jabar Gaffney do enough to support McCoy and Mendenhall. BEASTMODE on the other side really worries me, however.

Also, the Kick to the Groin Award comes out of mothballs for Illmatic. Losing to a bye team and with such a good score... that's a blow to the delicates for sure.

So, I guess, I need the Saints to forget Thomas is on their team and, in general, forget how to play football.

Given my craptacular Thanksgiving Day performance by pretty much everyone who played that day (5 guys 20 points (and 6 of those were by the kicker), 91 points was a pretty good showing. Before Sunday burning was winning by 5 points with only his defense having played versus 5 of my guys.

Oh, yeah, and Welker can kiss my butt. He kills me everytime my opponent has him.

Ok so here is the playoff picture. Can't say it is exactly on point, so feel free to double check.

Team Name | W/L Record | Points scored.

Teams that have clinched playoffs spots:

1.Leatherbacks |8-4| 1441.95
2.Fosters Home for TDs |8-4| 1338
3.Zatties! |8-4| 1309.5
4.Ellicott ThunderCats |7-5| 1210.15

*Note Ellicott ThunderCats technically clinches because Sparky Mcrandomsons and The Wulfpack play one another.

Teams competing for final two spots:

5.All we do is lose |6-6| 1281.75
6.Sparky McRandomsons |6-6| 1261.55
7.The Wulfpack |6-6| 1133.05

Teams that need: 1."All we do is lose" to lose and 2. Score a kitten load of points(Not reavers):

8.The Reavers |5-7| 1361.85
9.Gama Warriors |5-7| 1156.5
10.The All-49er Team |5-7| 1138.9
11.The Golden Thumbs |5-7| 1050.45

DEAD:
12.Tokyo Raiders |3-9|

The seeding is all depends on who wins and loses and how many points are scored etc etc. So lets just stick to seeing what two teams make it in.

All we need to do is lose needs to: JUST WIN BABY. (If he loses then he needs Reavers to lose, seeing as Reavers has more points.
Sparky Mcrandomsons needs to: WIN. (If he loses, then he needs All we do is lose and score more than him. And prolly needs Reavers to lose.
The Wulfpack needs to: WIN. (If he loses hes needs All we do is lose and score more than him. And prolly needs Reavers to lose.
The Reavers needs to: WIN and have All we do is lose, lose.
Game Warriors, The All-49er Team and Golden Thumbs needs: A MIRACLE. Win+All we do is lose loss+score a LOT of points. And Reavers lose.
