Oh boy, where to begin? There was so many potential arcs that Mashima could made very well. He could have made the finding the people on the arc, after the seven year timeskip, very compelling but he just shorten that for like, what, two chapters? Could have been something. Then, you know, I probably wanted to see a Natsu, Lucy, Happy quest arc to earn some money back to get back in track with their living conditions, but that didn't happen. And then I thought that the celestial world is going to be in danger somehow, but nope, but instead, cut three months into five days, and just opt for a quickie power-up and I'm like wtf?

At this stage, I am very, very confused on what the main stories is at this point, and what should happen along the way to try to tie everything all together, because it feels like the series has been scrambled for awhile, now, which is sad because these are great characters with great characteristics and traits and dynamics, and that I don't know how Mashima is going to tie everything all together for when the main story-plot is going to take center stage.

If Mashima keeps writing that way the series will be probably be canceled by this time next year, because sales will drop as Japanese readers get disgusted and stop buying the manga volumes

This is not how it works, at least not for an series of Fairy Tail's caliber. If it was an series that was just beggining, about it's 30 first chapters, then the chances of being canceled would be pretty high, but Fairy Tail already scored over 250 chapters, haves an ongoing anime, video games, merchandise and so on, so even if the popularity is low, the series legacy would keep it from being canceled, it's an very similar case like Bleach, the series lately had been betting on nothing but trolling and the weekly chapters aways score on the bottom five on the popularity polls, for over 5 months and yet there is no sign of cancelation. So in short, it's not about an series pleasing the audience, it's about an series making tons of money, wich Fairy Tail is making.

Remember Raven Tail?? they just reappeared in this chapter and are going to make their grand entrance soon. The Raven Tail plot is one of the 3 major plots in FT that needs to be resolved. In fact, I think Mashima is already starting to tie up all the plots, with how all the main actors have appeared. (RT, Zeref, Layla & Dragons) Now that Mashima's introduced them to the stage, I have no doubt that the arcs after this will have kitten hitting the fan.

I think Mashima has a pretty good idea of what the final stage will be.

And the fact that it's not in Jump, but another magazine which is usually more lax regarding ratings, FT is practically safe from any cancellation.

Well, at least Jellal lied and Erza saw through it.

Quite honestly, Mashima is probably more of a teasing creator instead of a trolling creator now.

I knew they wouldn't kiss in the end, it really did feel like one of those teasing moments that you would often see in scenarios like these, and was that Happy that got punted by Erza after he made that broken heart in the sand?

Well I guess its one of those "up to your interpretation" scenarios. We can't really confirm whether they did kiss or not from that panel.

Of course its Happy. That was actually insensitive of him. I'm surprised Erza didn't hurt him more.

Going with them kissing briefly, but it got stopped after a few seconds because Jellal freaked out. He's still got some self-punishment issues to work through, and Erza represents everything good and pure to him. He "can't" because he doesn't deserve someone as awesome as her.

Thing is, no one alive deserves someone as awesome as Erza. Ultimately, Erza has to be the one who chooses for herself. And it looks like she still chooses Jellal, even after all they've been through.

Even though it was obvious he was lying, we should have been kept in the dark about the reality of it, atleast until the next time they met, it's like I said before, one of Fairy Tail's problems is suspense is not maintained where cliffhangers are concerned. Like two episodes ago, we ended on the cliffhanger of them losing three months of training only to be solved the following week.

Boy Erza is strong to be able to handle the process, with such ease, when the rest of them were in so much pain,

Oh, people will always root for their favorite ship pairings, even after canon makes them AU. That's what fanfic is for, after all!

I love me some NaLu, but I love Erza/Jellal for different reasons. NaLu is two clueless dolts who need to figure their stuff out, but Erza/Jellal is a much more emotional, painful thing.

I can see some of the appeal of Erza/Natsu, though. Especially that swoony rescue scene. But I think she's always viewed him like a cute, annoying little brother. Same with her and Gray.
