I find myself hoping that those spoilers are a bit off. Starrk dead already? And Harribel too?! It was just getting good!

I hope Harribel survives. I figured Tite likes keeping the beautiful anime girls/women in the story. The Soul Society can heal her and hopefully she will cooperate with them and give them some useful information to keep from staying a step behind on Aizens plans. I hope Tite adds Harribel to team Ichigo.

Hahaha I figured this would happen. Aizen was just using his Espada to weaken SS so he could do some real damage afterward. Vasto Lorde incoming?

On another note, Aizen is awesome

I just thought it out and now may have a different prespective. Aizen simply set it up so that whether or not the Espada beat the shinigami he would get the key:

- Espada win: the destroys the pillars and sacrifices Karakura town
- Espade don't win: Aizen sacrifices them (who are made up of hundreds of thousands of souls)

Aizen planned a win/win situation, he did NOT secretly help the shinigami destroy super evil hollows. He just activated plan B, or perhaps this was his plan A all along as he said the current Espada were mere stand ins until he got an army of all Vasto Lords. Aizen wants to create a "new" Key, with sacrificing a whole full of thousands of souls. Remember where he got that idea from? He searched through the database in SS and found this method, labeled as"the method how the original key was created"Yes, you heard that right, the key that Yamamoto owns now, what only he knows where is, was created WITH THE EXACT SAME METHOD, BY SOUL SOCIETY!

Soul Society is one kittened up place.

I don't really get what you mean, the other espada were killed except for yammy and theirs a good chance harribel could still be alive sense Aizen only cutted her in his seal Zanpaktou form meaning only minor damage. Technically if she hasn't killed anybody in SS and everyone now realized that she was being used as a pawn from Aizen, I don't think they would be that aggressive towards her.

he replies to Aizen who is illuminated by the moonlight.
スターク：「あんた　強そうだな」
Starrk: "You seem strong."

Aizen: "...I wonder, I'm looking for comrades."
スターク：「奇遇だな　俺たちもだよ　あんたの仲間も強いのか？」
Starrk: "What a coincidence, so are we. Are your comrades strong, too?"
藍染：「知りたければ　来るといい」
Aizen: "If you want to know, then you should come."
スターク：「わかった　あんたなら俺たちと居ても　死ななそうだ」
Starrk: "I know they are. Even if you lived with us it seems you wouldn't die."
スタークはつぶやいた
Starrk mutters,
スターク：「悪りィな　藍染サマ　義理　返せねぇみたいだ」
Starrk: "Sorry, Aizen-sama, it appears I can't return the courtesy."
そして　スタークは　力なく落ちていく間際　リリネットの笑顔を思った
Just as he's about to collapse he remembers Lilynette's face.

Kyouraku watches him hit the ground with an exp​ressionless face.

During their fight suddenly Aizen appears between them.
藍染：「もういいよ　ギン　終わりにしよう」
Aizen: "That's enough, Gin. We'll finish this."

Hirako: "...What the hell...?"

仮面化した　リサは　ハリベルと１対1で　戦っていた
Lisa wears her mask as she battles 1 on 1 versus Harribel.

Lisa releases: "Crush, Iron Drink Dragonfly(Tsubuse, Tekkonzu Tonba)."
そこへ　ひよ里・日番谷が　戦いに加わった
Hiryori and Hitsugaya join the battle.

The battle is indecisive, and as it gets more complicated once again Aizen suddenly appears.

He makes a face to her as if he's saying, "Why did you come here?"
藍染は　表情1つ変えず　真正面から　ハリベルを斬りつけた
and without a single change of exp​ression, cuts her down right in front.

突然の　予期せぬ藍染の裏切りに　驚きの表情の　ハリベル
Harribel is shocked at his unexpected betrayal.
ハリベル：「な･･･」
Harrybel: "Wh..."
藍染：「用済みだ　どうやら君達の力では　私の下で戦うには足りない
　　　　ギン　要　行くぞ」
Aizen: "I'm finished using you. It appears the strength you all possess is not sufficient to serve under me. Gin, Kaname, go."

She tried to kill them, she is their enemy XD regardless of what Aizen did to her, she is still the enemy of SS. Heck, just being a hollow makes her so. And Unohana, the one who might have healed her, is in Las Noches. ALL of the espada were used as pawns, but I dunno if I can see SS healing any of them.

Anyways. Color spread is HOT. Renji especially... I wish Ishida wasn't always in the back ;_;

That was a nice spread for the fangirls who like their bishies in fancy. Surprised no Byakuya in it though; he'd look better then Hitsugaya who seems out of place with his gloves.

Voting for the Best bouts in bleach eh? Top 3 for me:

Ichigo vs. Byakuya
Kenpachi vs. Noitorria
Ichigo vs. Grimmjow (round three)

Knowing Japan though it will be...

Lots of depth in this chapter for Starrk and that flashback he had when he met Lilynette along with Aizen finding them.

^That panel made me 'daww. Starrk got one of the better flashbacks for the Espada. His death was quite remorseful as even though he died and did his best he was regretful to Aizen. Guy has some valor. I wonder if Lilynette will split from him since they are two spirits? He fought well taking on two Vizard Captains and one of the oldest Captains. If Shunsui's shikai is this haxxed...his bankai must be worse.

I like Shunsui's speech to Love/Rose and calling them "kid" was awesome. He knows the harsh realities of fighting/battle and his intelligence wise words could really teach them a thing or two. He seemed quite sad to be killing a kind spirit such as Starrk. Liked that we got to see Hiyori/Lisa's shikai's which are pretty decent but I'm indifferent since we haven't seen them in action yet. Harribel was taking on three captain level opponents but even that is not good enough for Aizen! Would this be where her sacrifice them comes into play?

Now to address wtf happened in this chapter with the Espada's dieing I can think of either two things: Kubo got sick of it and just said "kitten it" and was done with them. Now will we go to the King's realm as the Espada's death will release the 100,000 souls that he needs to make the key, or Vasto Lordes incoming? Another thing that makes me think is that his editors forced him to kill them off since Japan didn't like the top 3 Espada. I saw a recent chart (I'll try finding the source/link) where the ratings for Bleach were steadily declining after the Hitsugaya fight against Harribel shifted focus to the other characters and continued to do so over the last couple months. So the editors told him to fix it up and he decided to off with the Espada.

I wonder where Bleach will head on from here. I think we may have a switch to Hueco Mundo after this since it's an end to the current arc.

Now now True, lets not go and blame the editors again If Kubo had wanted to give Harribel two more chapters to do battle, he would have done it. All of the other espada got to, it would be expected from him to do so. This really seems to be a plot twist Kubo has had in mind. Aizen waited till number 1 fell and then he made his move. Harribel was kept alive to show Aizens ebilness as he cut her down. Kubo did promise a more evil Aizen coming up, so this is a good start to that... So mean @_@ Harribel is sacrifice...her life was sacrificed for plot movement ;_;

Ichigo vs Byakuya is great, of course.

Ichigo vs Kenpachi was fantastic.

But I think my favorite is Renji and Ishida vs Apporro. I love unique battles.

Now, as for the chapter...

I did not see Aizen attacking Harribel like that, but it makes sense for him. If 1 and 2 are down, what use is 3? Of course, this also makes me hate Aizen even more than I do already. I don't care how evil you are, you do not attack your Sexysexy Lieutenant. It's bad evil manners.

... And am I the only one that wants to give Starrk a big hug right now? It's just, he seemed so sad there at the end. It doesn't seem fair.

Harribel, with her last ounce of strength, cries "Aizen!!" and stabs him in the abdomen. However, it's just a shattered mirror.
愛染　　面倒なことはさせるな　私に二撃めをさせるな
Aizen says things like, "You're causing me such trouble. Making me attack you twice."
見たいな事をいい後ろから型らへんをずぶりと突き刺し　ハリベル様は落下…
and then skewers her from behind. Harribel falls...
さあゴテイ１３隊？と中途半端な仮面ども　かかってきなさい　な事をいい
Then he asks the Gotei 13 captains and rest of the vizards to come.
場面は変わり　マシロさんへ
Scene changes to Mashiro.
マシロ　　あららエスパーダさんみんなやられちゃったね…
Mashiro: "Look at that. The Espada were defeated..."
しかしｗｗが復活しマシロへ襲い掛かる
But WW revives and attacks her.
2人の攻防が続き　６９が　いったん仮面を戻せ！もう時間が限界だろ　というが
The two have an exchange, and Kensei yells at her to temporarily put away her mask because there's still a limit.
いうこと聞かないマシロが突っ込み途中で仮面状態がとけ
But she doesn't hear him and as she's making a riposte her mask dissolves.
ｗｗの一撃を顔面にうけて吹っ飛ばされてしまう
WW fires at her face and she's blown away.

６９が吹っ飛んだマシロを抱きとめ
Kensei catches her in his arms,
俺はガキにだろうがなんだろうが手加減しねえぞ
and says that kid or not, he's not going to go easy on him.
って所で　完です

ハリベル、愛染攻撃、斬ったのは幻で背後から肩辺りを愛染に刺されそのまま落ちてくハリベル
Harribel attacks Aizen, but the thing she cuts is an illusion and she's pierced in the shoulder region by him from behind. That's the way she falls.
愛染、「始めようか、13隊そして不出来な破面もどき達」
Aizen: "Shall we begin, Gotei 13 and the pseudo arrancar?"
それを白がみて最後のエスパーダやられちゃったとポツリ。
Mashiro is by herself watching the last espada be defeated.
その傍で倒れてるＷＷの指がピクリ。
Nearby the fallen WW flutters his fingers.
それに拳西が声を上げる。白、わかってるってと襲いくるＷＷを廻し蹴りで一蹴。
Kensei calls out. She answers, "Right!" and kicks away WW, who was charging at her.
拳西、こいつらレベルの敵だと消耗が激しいから時間切れになる前に1度仮面取ってつけ直せと忠 告するが、
Kensei says that against opponents of this level her energy will be depleted quickly so she should put away her mask for a bit to recover before her time runs out.
白、あたし普段どんだけ虚化できると思ってるの？15時間だよ！このまま夜中でもいけるよ！
と言ってる間にＷＷが更に襲い掛かる、しつこい！と顔を掴んで叩きつける白。
She respondes, " Don't you know I always use my mask? 15 hours! I can even stay like this until midnight! As she says this WW once again tries to attack her. "Stubborn!" she yells as she grabs his face and punches him.
それを耐えて、白のマフラーをつかんで投げるＷＷ。
WW withstands that, grabs her scarf and tosses her.
両者更に激突。白が白スーパー虚閃！！っと蹴りで虚閃を放つがかき消すＷＷ。
They clash some more, and then Mashiro does a Mashiro Super Cero. However WW erases it.
更に攻撃を加えようとする白だが、途中で仮面が半壊する。「やば、時間切れ？」
Mashiro tries attacking some more, but as she tries half her mask breaks away. "No way. I'm out of time?"
そこへＷＷが顔面パンチ、更にパンチをするところで拳西がパンチを受け止める。
So WW punches her in the face. As he tries it again Kensei stops it.
ＷＷ「あ～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～・・・？」
WW: "Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh...?"
拳西「悪りぃな、俺はガキに加減できるほど大人じゃねえぞ・・・！」
Kensei: "Sorry, but I'm not the kind of adult who makes allowances for kids...!"

Kensei is so cool And I...really don't like wonderweiss..gah I hope he dies >.< so many better arrancar than him. So I wonder if Aizen truly messed up or was this expected all along? Did he over-estimate the power levels of his own espada, did he under-estimate the power levels of gotei 13 + vizards, or was this all part of his plan? I have a hard time buying he didn't know how strong his espada were, makes him look like he didn't prepare very well. I feel like his disapproving words to Harribel were meant more as further insult/back stab rather than holding much relevance, but who knows. I hope the plot starts moving, anyways. Whenever Kubo does the same title with numbers, it usually means the end of an arc. (Remember End of Hypnosis?)

If the arrancar arc is indeed ending soon, then not much longer before we will see some Isshin back story~ Kubo said in a recent interview that after the arrancar arc, he plans to do a mini arc, and then the next arc after that will have Isshin backs tory *_*

Poor Harribel. I still have a small glimmer of hope that she'll live.

I wonder were Kubo is going to take the Manga after the espada arc, I thought the Espada were Vasto Lorde's so I don't know what Aizen could have better than that, since he still doesn't have 100,000 souls to create that powerful sword.

An Isshin backstory would be so awesome! I wouldn't be overexaggerating if I said that my favourite parts of manga were the glimpses into the past. It always interests me to see the side characters developed, and I've always loved Isshin. Best dad ever.
