I knew Koala would return. She is the only human to have the Sun Pirate mark after all. And now she is possibly the only human to master fishmen karate. This is one of those epic chapters that reminds me why I love this manga so much.

Not sure if this has been discussed on this thread yet but I'll mention it anyway.
Just the other day after I caught up with One Piece, I was thinking if Gol D. Roger had a devils fruit or not and after learning about the whole thing with fruits reappearing after the previous users death, is it possible that Roger had the Gomu Gomu no Mi? It does sound a bit far fetched since people who were around from Rogers time would obviously have pointed it out. However I did a bit of research and found this image taken from episode 51. link here for the image
What are your opinions on this?

I have a feeling Usopp will shoot the tatababasco into her mouth in the end. Its the only way since you can't get close to her.

You're right, Sugar is a perfect opponent for Usopp. x) Long range and everything.

Would be a good theory except for the fact that Episode 51 is a filler episode so doesn't follow the Manga, meaning it can't be considered as evidence for Gol.D Rogers powers, just as Naruto seeing Hinata naked cannot be used as evidence for NaruHina...all of it is part of the Filler and never actually happened.
Well things certainly got hectic, I didn't even pick up on the fact the Koala was the same little girl Tiger Lily took back home, Dragon certainly has an interesting set of people on his side, I wonder who else will pop up later on.

Oh yeah... I completely forgot that Episode 51 was a filler No wonder I don't remember it myself since I skipped the fillers.

I have had a love/hate relationship with One Piece since the time skip. Whilst I still read it every week in hopes of rekindling the feelings I used to have, it seemed more of a chore than the passion that made me want to own every volume (70 and counting on my shelf)
However this week was Oda at his best I loved this chapter, The joy, the despair, the laughter. mere words cannot describe how excellent this chapter was.
and all that from reading of my Vita after work not even seeing the "full-size" pages

Figured I might as well bring this up.
So I'm not as into One Piece as I am Naruto or Bleach, anyone have any idea where I should start? In the anime, i've gone upto the 25th episode only, so i'm very behind. Would it be better for me to just skip ahead?

I think it's best if you watch the whole thing, focus on canon episodes. You can search on list on what you should watch. The stories behind are very very great and it would be a waste if you skip on them.. well i dont know your preferences tho. I just watched/read One piece, and was able to catch up to the latest event. I regret that I didn't start on it way back; it was heavily recommended by a lot of people, for it is such a real piece of work. Truly great.

I hope tashigi gets her time to shine on wano. The girl has to overcome her sexism issues.
Unlike Hinata, she is not perfect and tries to be stronger and hopes to rival against the top tiers (especially Zoro).
