That chapter, loved the end. I can't wait to see what Souma says to her dad, I bet that would be funny. I'd laugh if he challenges him to a Shokugeki. She looked kinda happy to see Souma XD

My personal favorite is A Recipe for Mild Disaster though. It's a collection of unrelated one shots throughout various stages of their life (before they got together, the day after they got married, when Soma gets sick etc.). It was one of the reasons why I started shipping SomaxErina so hard. I felt like the author portrayed them as a couple really well w/out changing their personalities:

Here's my fantasy ending for the series.

 

Soma fulfills his ambition of taking over the Yukihira specialty shop and is serving customers as usual along with his son.

 

Sho: Dad, mom is coming home today isn't she? I want her to try this dish that I've made.

 

Soma: Yeah it should be today but you know, your mom is very busy.

 

Elsewhere Erina has just finished up her critiques, taste testing, instructing etc. and is on her way back to the Nakiri estate.

 

Hisako: Well that should be all for today Erina-sama. You have approximately 3 days before the critiquing of dishes in various restaurants across Europe*

 

Erina: ..... Hisako, could you prepare a car for me once we reach home? There's a place I need to go to.

 

Hisoko: Of course Erina-sama, but are you sure? you've just finished, so why don't you rest a bit first?

 

Erina: It's fine, I have a few days after all.

 

In the evening at Yukihira, Soma calls out

 

Soma: Thanks for today Tadakoro.

 

Megumi: Oh it's no trouble at all Soma-kun. Call again if you need anything at all.

 

As she exits a limo Parks outside the restaurant, and out steps-

 

Megumi: Oh, Nakiri-san!

 

Erina: Greetings Tadakoro-san.

 

Megumi: You're finished with your work?

 

Erina: I have a few days to myself. Then I must take a flight to Europe. You were helping that man?

 

Megumi: Yes but it was only for today I'm heading home now actually.

 

Erina: I see, safe travels then. *Enters Yukihira*

 

Sho: Mom, you're home! *runs and hugs her*

 

Erina: *expression softens and smiles brightly* I'm home honey, how have you been? 

 

Son: I've been trying a new dish. do you want to try it mom? *grins*

 

Erina: Of course honey.

 

Soma Oh, Erina, you're back.

 

Erina: For a few days, then I need to fly to Europe.

 

Soma: Ah, well dinner will be ready in a minute. Will you be staying till then?

 

Erina: *smiles* Yes dear, I'll tell the car to head back without me. It's been a while since I have been home. 

 

Soma: Yeah, welcome home. *grins*

Not gonna lie I would find that hilarious, But ths is Souma, he''d be more, 'N'eh N'eh Erina. let me try your food, I don't need a table, just give me a chair i'll eat in kitchen...n'eh Erina you need treat your customers better, maybe Megumi can teach you, Neh Erina let me try your food.' Let's be honest he'd bug her to death, it's his specialty after the horrible combo's and careful planning.

 

I am interested in seeing the interaction between Souma and Azami, I have the feeling the evil dictator wannabe is going take offence to the meat bun in Souma's hand, and will spark off an argument between the two, and Souma reply to him without backing down will improve Erina's view of him.

 

Edt: Also it's interesting how the Azami was described as 'Biological father' not just Father, so does that mean she considers Jouchirou her father? or is there someone else who we haven't met?

So decided to read these, Nouvelle is certainly an interesting fic, seems to have reached an interesting point, not liking Erina so far, but I think that's the point at this particular time, also interesting to see the Assistant from the One parter is back.

 

The Mild Disaster started off really well, then became AU and pretty much lost all interest in it, which is a shame as would have liked to see more snippets of their relationship, like the first time she met Jouchirou etc.

Oh yeah, towards the end, the author to Mild Disaster just gave up. Stories 1-7 or so were pretty good. The last three were just, whatever. BUT, the author said that he/she is almost done with the outline for the next SomaxErina (this time not oneshots), and I'm really looking forward to it.
