a naruto movie that's been in the works for years and we've gotten tons of hints and ns moments within that time frame. that gives me even more confidence than i already have.       

 

 

Why not? It can't be any more hopeless or baseless than the Obito and Danzo are one in the same theories that circulated around the time when Onoki made the comparison between them.

I'm saying that there's evidence to prove that a deeper conspiracy might have existed. It was just up to Kishi to decide whether to fit the pieces together and make something of it. The same can (as in presently) apply to this theory and the greater question of why this ending happened, in my opinion.

I believe in that theory. For the "creator of the Shinobi world" Kaguya got defeated too quick. Kaguya still get them under something.

You know...I'm starting to think this part 3 that Kishi is doing in the spring is going to be set before chapter 700 but after the movie. (So this movie can either be really good for us or terrible lol) They're pretty old in 700, everyone must be in their mid/late 30's, so maybe it isn't an IT in the end? Maybe this chapter was just a vague introduction to part 3, and this series will lead up to 700. 700 was too vague for all the characters (especially the main relationships), we saw nothing. Nothing on their shinobi lives, nothing on the relationships, not even Naruto becoming Hokage. Just a snapshot into the future. If this is true, then in the beginning and throughout part 3 we will get to see Kakashi as Hokage, Naruto being named Hokage, him and his family, all the relationships (Narusasu, Narusaku etc), the new generation, the rookies + what they're up to as shinobi etc. It will go all the way up to timeline of when 700 took place and the series will be done at that point (maybe it'll go past 700 but you get my point of part 3 taking place before 700) Obviously the focus won't be only on the main characters, but they'll get some focus too. It honestly might be the reason why 700 didn't touch on any of the relationships and stuff, they're saving it for this spring + the movie.

 

When you look at it, 699 isn't THAT bad. If you look at the announcement poster, you can see Bolt (but no sign of Himawari, heh), Naruto, and a Hokage. I don't think this is Naruto.... his hair is too short to stand out like that. Especially if you look at his design in The Last and in this epilogue, his hair is really short.It looks like Kakashi to me, honestly. He has the same spiky hair style, and it looks to be the same length. All of these people aren't Naruto, because Bolt is there as well, and he looks a lot younger than his epilogue self.

See? Why is he younger here? That's definitely Bolt, you can tell by the apple stem and hair style LOL. No sign of Himawari either. Aren't they both Naruto's children? Naruto doesn't look to be in his new design, but I think they did that to make it obvious that it was him (the headband). Plus he's always been promoted with his part 2 self.

More sense than what we've seen and heard regarding this movie. And it doesn't cause one to feel dejected like there's no hope remaining.

Do you honestly need a full retcon part Part 3 to close all unlogical things in the end of part 2? Like another 2 or 3 flashback of Naruto and Hinata that never seen before The Last? Hope no. But you made some points there.

Some of it  but I disagree that 699 isn't that bad  that chapter literary  destroyed Sakura NS Sasuke   they were all OOC no explanation for that . Also remember that poster of the movie saying the movie is chapter  699,5 ? This is where they all begin acted OOC  Chatte pointed this out to which holds with the theory  that  this might be IT RTN  .

 

Now it would make more sens for P3 the beginning of it to start with showing dispelling the IT then the real resolution of this war  such as NS becoming canon  the answer for peace from Naruto's POV how he became hokage etc   and then skip to  The New Generation  something like that  imo .

Ehh, it was good all up to the point that she asked to come with him, but who knows, it might be justified as just her finally getting acknowledgment from him in the end. Sasuke didn't seem SO OOC, it's not like he was blushing and trying to win her over? I agree that 699 bothered me, but maybe it'll be explained? I don't really know honestly. x_x And yeah, the movie is 699.5, takes place before 700 right? I'm just saying this mini series could take place after the movie but before 700 and will lead up to it. I agree with Chatte and her IT theory, but just trying to bring out more theories you know?

Nah you don't do that for asking for an acknowledgement  that's to much  also Sasuke suddenly being all tsunder and smiling at her giving her that poke that was also OOC  if you have follow his character you will know that Sasuke doesn't do that  it pisses him of that's something between Itachi and him  that bond is sacred for him   also Karin/Naruto are the only ones who has received that smile . Its also strange that he gave SS in here the NS moment with forehead thing and the SK with the smile  he has never ever show that kind of emotions for Sakura even when he was in a bad state .

 

Yes I understand that but really we can't twist the 699 moment that was horrendous  but I agree that the mini series could take place after the movie before 700 that is also a possibility  it could serve for explaining the IT and then skip to 700 and proceed from there .

There's no underneath the underneath. A movie is coming out to explain how NH (and probably SS too) happened.  I'd prefer to indulge in fanart/fanfiction.  Some of us on tumblr are getting together and we are happy with adopting Shinachiku as our NS child.  Fanart/fanfictions over there are great and awesome and fun.

But the chances it's true are almost 0%, despite your claims all your theories have been right in the past for other things.  I can't see Kishimoto ending his 15 year manga on a genjutsu.  I just can't.  We went through that already, and they were ALL released from the IT.

good points konan . the highlight of this for me was when you pointed out that himawari wasn't included along with her supposed brother in the promotional new era project. you'd think they would be in the picture together considering that they're naruto's own damn kids. but nope. it was just baruto.
