The love of a twelve years old girl lasts that long and still exists even after the other person abuses you and doesn't give a crap about you. I wouldn't say its dead yet. Sakura still has feelings for Sasuke to some extent and Sasuke only knocked her out, he didn't try to kill her. I'll only belive that its dead when Sakura gets over him.

Kishimoto can't just give Sakura's character a break, can he? He still has to have her be in "love" with Sasuke like this, even after all the kitten that's happened. Sasuke still barely gives a kitten about her, which is all fine and good, but the fact she's still so hung over him like this just keeps on taking away from her character. It's kittening ridiculous.

Anyways, I'm kind of glad I stopped taking the pairings in this manga to heart or else I think I would be feeling really down right now. Remember guys don't let these things affect you too much, the manga is not over yet; so just kind of chill. None of the pairings look good right now tbh.
Ahem, anyways about the chapter.
The final phase is coming, and the long awaited SasukevNaruto is going down. Now I think we can all say based on the spoilers we've gotten from 'The Last' , everyone survives, and either Sasuke is redeemed by Naruto after this, or Sasuke escapes and he becomes the villain, or he leaves after being redeemed and becomes a rouge ninja? The sauce definitely doesn't look like he is a good guy in his character design, but then again maybe he was just drawn to look like a prick.
Now pairing wise, they are all written so bad, I don't understand why you guys are surprised, this is not a shoujo manga.
Anyways, I think Kishimoto is really enforcing the whole love triangle to be the main issue of romance in this series. I don't see Naruhina and definitely don't see Sasusaku as a threat, but at this point any pairing is endgame, that is IF Kishimoto decides to choose a pairing.
Also on my thoughts on Sakura's portrayal in this chapter. We were meant to believe she was being honest during her confession to Naruto, and that she was over sasuke, and her love for him was not romantic, but of friendship. That she only wanted to bring him back because she cared about him as a comrade, not because she was still in love with him, but because she had loved him. BUT if she really wasn't speaking in past tense in the chapter then it is to be assumed that Sakura really wasn't honest and that she still loves Sasuke, even after he tried to kill her. Seriously? How could she still love him after that. That sounds like an obsession, hell that's very unhealthy; haha but again this is a manga and the lack of logic in Naruto lately could make anyone lose a few IQ points.
But I honestly did not think Sakura would act like that, I really thought she was over Sasuke but I suppose she never really was. I can see why a lot of Sakura fans are dissapointed. Sakura's love for Sasuke is really bad and UNHEALTHY for her character and I will leave it at that. I mean I understand Kishi wanted to write an reenactment of the bench scene but it just made Sakura's character look...bad. I seriously wanted Sakura to blast on Sasuke and point out how team7 wanted him to come back and how much they ALL care about him (and then punch him or at least attempt to) But then again I like my woman to be written as strong and independent, not love-sick and clingy. But I guess this could be the final wake up call for Sakura.
One more thing. I have a question about translation or not a question more of a rant/question? Why is it that every time there is a huge controversial moment, but in this case pairing moment in Naruto, the translations are confusing or misinterpreted? No wonder the pairing fandoms are always on each other neck and neck, you can always interpret it to your preference if you don't translated it right, and to be in a fandom of a manga that is biased when it comes to translations (I'm talking about the manga translators) instead of actually translating it appropriately for the whole naruto fandom is very upsetting. If I were a mangaka I would be upset if my manga was being translated only to accommodate a certain pairing, and again I'm only speaking about this in terms of pairings. If the translation was/wasn't past tense then I can understand, it's whatever, but it actually DOES make a difference in what the mangaka is trying to say/potray, and if there are other translators who are misinterpreting it and if that's the case they should fix it. So it can stay true to what Kishimoto is trying to write.
The simple fact of the matter is that Kishi really sucks at romance and females characters.

Not gonna lie, every line that Sakura said felt like a giant stab to the heart. Even Kakashi's words after that were a bit soul crushing lol.
What I find interesting, however, is that when hearing this, Naruto didn't really have any outward reaction to her words...no cringe, no change in expression.... does that mean he's also just accepted that Sakura has never quite let Sasuke go? And with his words to Kakashi was supposed to show that he's just resolved himself to bringing Sasuke back for Sakura.
Ugh.
This chapter, right after that page where Sakura looks at Sasuke's back and makes the angry face with tears streaming down.....that was THE perfect opportunity to turn Sakura's "fangirl" image around. That was also the perfect opportunity for Kishi to show that Sakura is fed up with Sasuke and his selfishness already.
Sigh.

Exactly.We had bad chapters but after that bad chapters we had better chapters and I still believe that Sakura's feelings that called love for Sasuke is decreasing.Come on Kishi sucks at romance(and he said he wants to write a romance manga if I remember correctly XD)now we should accept this and move on.We should wait and see.Maybe next chapter Sakura's feelings will be questioned by herself maybe Naruto will confess maybe Sasuke will die or maybe Hinata's date with Naruto will be showed.

Hi all. I'm new to this, so here's my take on the whole issue. The manga is at the stage of tying up all loose ends. You have to take into consideration that the whole war arc only spanned a period of 2 to 3 days Manga time. There's absolutely no way that sakura could magically resolve her personal issues in that time frame. I do agree that her not letting go of her childhood infatuation is stupid and immature, but what happened in this chapter needed to happen for her to move on (although her stubbornness with it does piss me off) . Moreover, the PLT is still relevant here and I believe that NS won't happen until Naruto succeeds in defeating Sasuke. So, there it is
Naah Sakura was in a league of her own this chapter, Naruto doesn't even come close.

WOw, like, did you really ever read the manga? You seem to look at it like many of the NH and SS Fandom do. Once a new Chapter gets out, the previous ones are forgotten and never mentioned. This Chapter killed SS and made us stumble a bit, but unlike them, we aren't dead- Period!
