I don't know what would be the point of a AU movie. Especially now that Naruto is nearing its end.

Who said movie need to tie in? Sounds like old Nickelodeon toons tactic. It only works if the series is done. Like DBZ.

I'll be happy as long as this movie is canon. All the Naruto movies we've gotten in the past, none were good tbh. How would another (AU) movie make up for all the poor one's in the past? I would rather see canon rather than AU, which always disappoints me.

 

Manga is said to finish in 2014 so it will be great if this is a epilogue for the manga.

Remember people Hinata's "Boobs Float"  this ones as far as I see they don't  :chuckle: . And that girls is wearing a shirt with short sleeves much like Kushina and Sakura under her red vest .

What would be the point of making Naruto an adult if its just going to be an AU, there's marketing and then there's just plain kittening around with the audience.

My thoughts exactly. I just don't see why he would have such a big role in this movie and develop Naruto and just make it a AU.

Authors always like to explore different concepts of their work so why not , it was the same with RTN to them that's fun they learn from that  and it brings more money like it was the case with RTN  and don't forget that this  is done only for an celebration of his 15 year old manga and bc of that there will be a series of events it has happened before and that's marketing .

That doesn't really answer my question.

Like I said a different concept how many AU cover has he draw lately ? And you don't even know the whole deal yet you are jumping the gun  an epilogue now doesn't make any sense  and Naruto looks to much like Obito for me to believe that it is one an AU makes more sense .

Again the movie itself wouldn't be the epilogue but instead more likely become a kickstart to whatever phase Kishi plans on going I think thats more likely than an AU or using the film as a finale for a manga series thats just me though.

While true about AU already done in last movie, in his defense, it could be a full focus on the AU, rather than, "Hey look! I'm in this world!" It could be more like, "I gave up on Hokage's dream. This life...I want to end it..."
