I get the feeling that nh has two people to hate, minato for the parallel and naruto for saying sakura was his girlfriend.
At least 3 times today, I checked tumblr and well, narusaku and naruhina tags including both pro and anti, are up in arms with nh or anti fans just trying to downplay everything from,"if minato met hinata first" to "naruto didn't think the same way when someone asked if sakura was his girlfriend."
Just wow, it's two panels, they are cracking under the pressure. Guess nh does not know where to start, who should they be angry at? Sakura as usual? Naruto to a lesser degree? What about minato? Guess with minato as an enemy to naruhina, they can't use any hinata like minato parallels now can they?
I literally spent a half hour this afternoon reading some of the stuff and just wow, best way to spend on afternoon on a rainy day. Claims naruto was not serious or in love, claims he switched to hinata, claims it was just comic relief like all other ns moments, claim that minato is clueless and what naruto did was insulting (oh how did the neji fans feel when hinata just glossed over his death?) swayer7mage himself said this is to keep the pairingtards interested going between naruto and sakura to make things interesting, well he suggested that something like Kushina would be revived and say no no no to minato and change it from sakura to hinata, well are these fans still ignoring the total content of kushinas past? Swayed, sorry, this is not going to happen, no reason or way for Kushina to be revived. What would be the point? Her come back just for this, and change it? Sorry it's not going to happen. The time for talk was this chapter, hinata remained quite, she could have talked or simply run over, Kishi could have saved the parallel confirmation for when minato left, but he did it now.
Our advantage is, we have experienced this pain 3 times, but any haters are going insane because the first wound is always the hardest, plus, we were in a different time for things to make a come back, we had one let down a year starting in 2009. But as of today, naruto still loves sakura, we see more reason just for minatos parallel confirmation, as Phoenix elite said, one aspect to look at is what Kishi did, it may not matter on characters but it does matter on the story structure. It's like don't only follow the path as it goes, look at what the path is made for, if that path is muddy, maybe you should figure out the content to get through it rather than just to into it wherever it leads, well this is the case.
I love ns, there can still be changes, but we have the arch grand fate of the world starting next right chapter, little to no stuff about pairings should come up for a while. There are still many loose ends for narusaku to address too, but what not much for sasusaku or naruhina. This chapter not only had a short but rewarding ns moment, it again showed how much naruto and sakura can read each other, just the statement of her wanting to fight and narutos smirk. Well it's almost down to team 7 and they are reassembled, now who is this manga the story of? Team 7 not team 7 plus hinata. It's an action series first, drama/comedy second, romance takes a backseat. I'm a naruto fan first, narusaku second. But all I can say is this to the haters, deal with it, just deal with it. We have been wounded 3 times and you treated it greatly each time, well things have been reversed for once, we really don't care what they say, we are going to enjoy this chapter, we at least claim the narusaku parallel, seriously, case closed, this Kushina stuff dies today, ns wins this one, deal with it, you cannot win them all. I mean look at us with a big 3 wound streak now. We don't care what is said about narusaku, naruto, or sakura, twist anything anyway you like, changes nothing here or in the manga. This Kushina stuff is over, game set and match. Kushina is ours, minato most likely too. Now please kindly move along and clam down.
SS and nh still have a chance, but to me, it's just slighter than ever. Seriously, to me and most other ns fans, it just comes back to naruto and sakura, their growth, their high and lows together, mainly their screen time together, and just the fact that naruto has never shown anything about his feelings changing for her or anything for hinata. Sakura as well, yeah she still loves Sasuke, but this can change to a magical element called character development. Sakura is not done with naruto in this chapter, she has a lot more with him. Sorry, this is the start of it. Sakura can still change, still turn to naruto, would you really expect sakura, the heroine to never change her biggest trait? Her love towards Sasuke? Well remember, this was for the longest time a negative trait on her, it's not suddenly going to become a positive thing. What about Sasuke? He still gives no fs because he never had any to give. Seriously this is even bigger than nh, what reason or purpose could there be for this to start on sasukes end? Never did it in part 1, only harmed sakura in part 2, so why should it be good now, merely because sakura held out on hope? To me sasusaku remains friendship, what it remained at in part 1. Seriously, there's a reason people say development comes full circle, well we first saw naruto he was alone, a loser, hated, and had no skill, look at him now, he will be hokage at the end. Sasuke was revenge obsessed and a loner, he is working with others now, not obsessed with revenge, and now following itachis will. So what about sakura? Well she hated naruto and was always behind Sasuke, so you know the opposite of this? Loving naruto and being friends with Sasuke. Yeah it's a full 180 for all of them. This include narusaku. Kishi made his choices, his path, his story. Nothing can change the past. Nh had thousands of opportunities but it hardly built on them with only a moment in the pain arc and a moment in 615.
I believe ns will come but still remain aware that other stuff can arise to change the current mentality. Nh and SS could still happen but it's much slimmer in my opinion. We at least get the sakura-Kushina parallel, it's over, we can kindly end this one due to minato. Kushina is in the ns hole, it's done. Now lets see how the rest of the manga unfolds, sakura still loves Sasuke and hinata is still a character too, she will get her own ending development, but I see her end as a friend with naruto and leading the hygua clan. Naruto still loves sakura, he has a lot tied to her, this is what keeps us going.lets see what happens in this final fight with Madara and the ten tails.
