These moments combined gave me another reason to believe that that feelings between Sasuke and Karin are mutual :). As Tobirama said, the Uchiha gain their power through loss of a loved one and despair. When Sasuke saw that Karin was on fire and sinking into the water, he believed that she was going to die. He was desperate to do whatever he could do to save her life (because he loves and cares about her) and the chakras in his brain unlocked the new ocular power to extinguish the black flames :).

 

I belive if kishi wants Sasuke to end up with a women , it would be Karin obviously

 

im not that big of a

 

SasuKarin shipper but i still belive this pairing is what kishimito hints that will happen

Yeah if we want icing to the cake to, at least let Sasuke give Sakura a smile. A real one, not a smirk. Smirks doesn't count.    Naruto even gave Hinata several smiles even if those meant for Sakura are more regular, unique and exceptional hehe
 
The canon ships will live together after all...that's why I love NS, I can imagine what their life would be like. They hang out so much and their interactions are very casual, full of smiles, laughter and a relaxed atmosphere unless Tsunade is in coma or something.
 
I can't imagine NH, and I think SS would be dull. Hey you can't really blame me, because it's not like the other ships have ever even taken a walk together.
 
I'm not a writer, but it must be very difficult writing SS/NH fanfics because you have so little of their daily life together. XD

It's rather just well, look at what's constantly presented and see what has more relevance and focus on the plot. Ns has that by a longshot. I mean even if we wanted to go by plain character development, look at the trait Sasuke never had, that of loving others save itachi. If anything it's basically when a character in generally any series isn't associated with some certain attribute. Sasuke has been well bent in revenge and then trying to find sense of it, now in the end sasukes end is finding that family as team 7 the same way naruto did. Even still there are so many things for ns to came forward, I mean if sakura and hinata confessed, shouldn't naruto get to confess to sakura? Rather what about the simple growth between naruto and sakura started as less then pleasant but became better so would it really be surprising to see sakura care highly or rather end loving naruto? It's also funny to think that naruto should succeed by never giving up yet people expect him to give up on sakura. That's just too much of a character hole. It's either he succeeds in everything or doesn't there is no in between.

I'm not either but even so, if the story needs Sasuke in romance, it will be with Karin. I can easily see a shocking part for us to find out if they do go out because well all those circumstances. We'll be like "Say what?!"

Karin is the only girl that Sasuke showed interest , accept Sakura's love for him is one sided selfish too

 

so yeah i only seen Sakura getting interested in Sasuke , while Sasuke do doesnt  give a *****.

I actually never took much thought into this pairing , but it wouldn't be bad . As long as Naruto ends up with his Sakura-Chan I'll be good . Besides from the look of it Sasuke might not even die , but he will get the kitten beat out him . So if anything Sasuke will end up with Karin .

I think theres a huge possibility the Kishi will leave an open ending. He wont canonize any pairing but might kill one off....

I think not because he went too deep on the pairing matter, i mean he made Sakura to look like Kushina and did other stuff too like putting the major part of Sakura's character on the romance subplot, i would believe in an open ending if wanst for those two things.

I think his reaction was somewhat based on his own obliviousness.  Sakura is the person he envisions as his girlfriend, she's the person he likes, he'll stick with, he'll be loyal to her even if she doesn't choose him.  I thought it's his way of saying that if he's ever to have a girlfriend, it will be Sakura?  She's his girl, she's his her, she's the one in that role.

 

At least that's how I interpreted it.

Something that happened off screen? Maybe he just assumes this because of how well they get along now? That's all I can come up with.

One of the mystery for me. I mean what make naruto like sakura in the first place? And what make her different with ino? I mean ino is beautiful, smart, from famous clan and on top of that she's the biggest sasuke fangirl only compete with sakura and she's bossy... Oh she has boob too

And from chapter 538, in the flashback we got the information that naruto didnt know sasuke, sakura seem clueless with who's naruto, Hinata already become naruto fangirl, chouji and shikamaru already friend, naruto didn't know who's sakura.

Than this make me think that sakura and naruto interaction happen after this sparring whose for some reason make naruto smitten to sakura and she hate naruto.

Oh and I think sakura like sasuke in the first place because of peer pressure because she's bully victim and so join the horde and I think what sakura search from sasuke is acknowledgement and to beat ino of course.

Special mention: until kishi prove me wrong, I will say Hinata is indeed dellusional that naruto doesn't love anyone and starting to fall in love with her.

One of the things I don't like about the notifications thing at the top of the screen is that when it says someone has liked a comment you made on "The NS debate thread" I think it should take you to the comment that person liked when you click on it. Am I the only one who finds this annoying?

My view :

After the last chapter with the whole "i don't wanna have any regrets"

I kinda get the feeling that he's going to confess just before he fights Sasuke.

I mean we know he understands that he could die fighting Sasuke, hell he even in a way guaranteed it with the " if we fight we both die."

So with the no regrets in mind it would make sense if he finally confessed his love to the girl he's always loved.

 

It wouldn't be a confession where he expects an answer but just simply wants her to know just how much he loves. How incredible he thinks she is and more of that 

and maybe even kissing her forehead at the end just before he leaves to fight Sasuke ? Would be a nice moment just before the final fight.
