I didn't really "expect" it, but I always thought it could happen if Kishi decides to pair everyone up so I'm not surprised by that choice at all.

It was obvious Harry x Hermoine would never happen. NaruSaku, on the other hand, had ample support and flowed well into the manga's themes and foreshadows.

It's actually really friggin' disturbing once you think about it lol. How do they avoid birth defects? Do they keep double-incestuous unions from happening (father and mother are related, but offspring must marry as far but within the family as possible?) to avoid birth-defects? The real -incestuous union as I described in the paranthesis, leading to a dire need for a family to marry outside of its gene-pool to avoid disaster. Does the family marry outside but to as close to resembling the blood-line at all and then start all over again to continue the "purity" of the blood-line, or is there some kind of genetic/malformation cull on the level of the Spartans at the beginning of 300 we're not seeing?

Agreed. JK Rowling always stuck to her original idea and foreshadowed it--- she's still better at romance than Kishi on that front. Kishimoto makes it look like NS was the original idea, but for whatever reason changed his mind and copped out with NH/SS asspull.

its so unfair that these two fandoms (nh/ss) got their prize in the end..their were the biggest bullies of the naruto  fandom..like ive neer seen any other fandom bashing others so much and so harshly like them..sure ns sn sk got their bad apples too but nh/ss were off the charts with their bullying..idk was it because they are simply just too numerous?and there were users on nf and tumblr even  before chapter 670 with usernames like sasusakucanon,sasusakuwillhappen and so on......and to know now the bully wins is like watching hitler succeding with his world war 2 plan..if only kishi knew what was going on in his fandom im sure he would have been by our side now
