Actually Sai and Shika make perfect sense, Sai is likely to take over Ne and Shikamaru has already appointed himself as Naruto's advisor. Look at the placing of the two, Sai is on the left and Shikamaru Right, so his left and right hand men when Naruto becomes Hokage, Team Seven, we have on the right Kakashi, Sakura in the middle and Sasuke on the left. It's only Hinata's inclusion that raises questions. Is she relevant to the story? Is this Studio Pierott  trolling? Does this hint towards NaruHina? Because we know her relevance in the actual story will be minimal to say the least.

Well...Maybe Hinata takes over the leadership of her clan- the self proclaimed 'strongest clan' in Konoha.

"Advertisements don't mean canon in the story." So why are we doing this with NaruHina and not with NaruSaku?

Still has no relevance to Naruto's story, her taking charge is a given considering she is the heir to the clan. We don't see Chouji, Ino Kiba or Shino on the cover, they are all the heirs as well, in Ino's case her father died so she really will be taking over the clan.

 

'Self Proclaimed' indeed, the strongest clain is Uzumaki, it might only consist of one and a 1/4 member (Tsunade is Uzumaki from her grandmothers side) but they can pretty much wide the floor with all the other clans. I'd argue the strongest clan is probably Shino's clan, their abilty is quite scary, and they have the brains to back it up. Or maybe it's Saratobi's now that we know the clan doesn't consist of Konohamaru and the unborn child of Asuma and Kurenai.

Its just natural human tendency. Humans play down the positives so that we won't end up extremely disappointed if things don't go our way. We also tend to big up the negatives so that it would be easier to handle the disappointment should the worst happen.

This fandom is more obssessed with this girl than the NH fanbase.

Most of NH fans ship NH because of Hinata.So Hinata is everthing to them.And Hinata is a character that most NS fans dislike/hate.

But I don't think we're more obssessed with her.Just some fans are overreacting and worried...

We do this because Hinata has one purpose in the Manga and that is pine over Naruto. Sakura has actual relevance to the storyline, her being on the cover is a given because she is the leading lady, so we expect her to be part of the Advertisement because she has relevance, Hinata is an extra, we know whoever the final boss is she won't be the one standing beside Naruto it will be Sakura. So when she turns up on a cover you question why. Heck even if Ino was in that place we'd question why,

Well, it's like what I said before. I bet if we have NS canon before this movie, nobody will think NH. Why? Because it's been dealt with. No more thought process of pairings. Unless you're insane to think Naruto would say, "I'm getting bored," that's not going to happen.

Here's the thing. We have a post that pretty much said it best about this whole situation. It's in the scarf thread. It's in first page, I believe the third post. Are you honestly telling me that fan assumption, aka fanfic, is more reliable than the narrator of the kittening movie? If you do, YOU OUT OF YOUR kittening MIND!.....Remember how now ads guys finally got a clue to cover Kakashi's back because it's a spoiler. Well, it's too late, right? Same thing for Sasuke, right? So, too late for trying to establish Naruto has moved on, RIGHT? I rest my case.

Sai isn't relevant and he's appearing.

Shika is the author's pet so he's different...

 

Hinata is a character that needs to show growth over that TS. She can't possibly take over the Hyuuga clan in the state she is now. That's why I'm looking forward seeing her and am not worried at all. Either she'll just be passing by like in RTn (man I wish we could have got more of kittennata and Charasuke ! ), or Kishi could use the opportunity to show she's finally a bit of a badass in that timeslot... Or, at worst, he could use her as a naruto-kun spewing machine and even then she's no competition for Sakura at all.

But people automatically jump to "pairing potential" and not really "what significance she has on the story?" How many times has Hinata shown up on a cover or something and immediately we all jumped to to the conclusion that Kishimoto was making NaruHina canon? If Ino showed up standing next Naruto, is the first thought in your head  "Oh NaruIno is canon?" No, that is ridiculous and so is this. That's what is driving me nuts. Hell, on the facebook page people started getting upset because they did a close up of Naruto's hand and they thought it was Hinata's. No lie. That is how paranoid this fandom has become.

We really need to not start this kind of crap until all the facts are in. I am not questioning why Hinata's on the cover anymore. I fell for that once and I was made to look stupid a long time ago. I am not doing that again and I think some of us here are tired of people automatically jumping ship because Hinata shows up on a poster.

It's getting ridiculous....no, it IS ridiculous. My Naruto chess set has no Hinata piece, but Naruto and Sakura are king and queen. I guess NS is canon then thanks to my chess set.

I'm actually starting to think the Sarutobi and Hyuuga have equal standing in the village. They're one of the oldest clans in Konoha, and their best shinobis are all top-tier. Not only that, there's a hint Madara recognizes the name very well and may have considered Sarutobi Sasuke a challenge. As of right now, the current generation is definitely shaping up to be the best the clan has ever seen (hint: Konohamaru)

Wha the kitten does that even mean? Yes, because I, the creator, wants to please the audience with NS in RtN but hohoho, in the Last, it's all NH, even though I didn't give kitten about it, but hey, it's the Last. I mean good golly, I even lowered the level to Lee/Ino love, but kitten that, she's her! All exception. God knows I kept telling others that all those moments was just trying to be strong, even the French translation made it platonic as possible, but whatever, it's all love! Let Naruto to give up. You know, guy who never gives up! Sure didn't stop the promise, but kitten it, love life ends. Thank you, everybody. I love you all!
