its not just a stepping stone. naruto risked everything he had to try to save sakura. even looking back a few times at her to get himself pumped up again. he even crawled on the ground and was ready to kill gaara for her, even though he knew what gaara was going through.

and it made me think....wow....if naruto doesnt get sakura....i will feel really bad for him........

naruto is in love with sakura alot and i get tired of naruhina fans saying hes not.


if i was naruto (even though ima girl) i wouldnt risk my life for the girl i love just so i can get with another girl i barely know and talk to. i dont care how hinata feels.

Exactly. He wouldn't of allowed it in the first place if he was planning on Naruto changing his feelings for Sakura to Hinata.

AGAIN. When they are making Hinata episodes it's only for fan service. they are ship teasing because they like Hinata, not NH its self. It's just to appeal to Hinata's fans they're not establishing NH in any sense. I have stated before a LOT of NH shippers are only shipping NH because of HINATA, not for the couple its self because they are only fixated on only her desires for whatever reason.

Well most of you say that the “look” that Sakura had when she said “Hinata loves Naruto” proves that she already has intimate feelings for him. Why, what’s up with that look? Her façade just showed sympathy to Hinata, like what Sakura would have done for Sasuke, who will do anything for Naruto. But Naruto never actually knew or appreciated.

Also, when you say they have so much character development over the course of Shipuuden, it just showed their brother-sister care and love for each other (i.e. Naruto’s comeback in 450) that didn’t had the chance to develop in Part 1. Sakura really cares for Naruto and understands what he feels. She worries for him like a big sister to her little brother. Hell, if your teammate beat the Akatsuki leader and indirectly restored the life of those who died, wouldn't you hug that certain teammate too?? And hinata WAS smiling in the background right?? which meant that she had full trust and hell, her smile wasn't a SAD smile right?? it's just a normal "thank-god-you're-safe" smile.

So, NaruSaku isn’t what it is all cut out to be.

Ummm, about that look (when Hinata black out after kicked by Pein n Sakura treat her), i always personally think, that Sakura's face looked sad, it's not like: "Hinata, you're so cool for being a heroine." or "I'm happy for you, Naruto. She loves you!" << that's didn't match with her expression

My friend told me that was what was written in the data base. Masashi actually confirmed that the one who filled his lonely existence was Sakura. It wasn't Sakura and Naruto. It was simply Sakura.

i'm sure as hell, my best friend who was a hardcore SasuNaru would gladly kill whoever write this

And these reasons weigh much more than NaruSaku, since we only saw their character development. In Part I, the care that had developed within Sasuke towards Sakura (and Naruto) showed he cared for them and if he had already cut those bonds, why can we see into his eyes that he can't even kill them? He could have attacked Sakura after he had pwnd Yamato, but no, he didn't. Despite that icy facade of him, lays an interior that nor only cares for Naruto, but so much for Sakura as well.



If you don't get this, then I suggest you rewatch Naruto Part 1 and also Movie 1 to see for yourselves.

honestly, i'm so tired with SasuSaku fans, they always have some imagination that didn't match with the reality in the manga. Sasuke isn't shoujo character who loves her fangirl secretly, duh!

It some times kinda pisses me off when people call Naruto and Sakura's relationship like brother and sister, it just feels like a petty excuse to justify their closeness. I can understand if people see them as very close friends with a strong bond, but saying they're like siblings seems like a desperate attempt for them to deny any chance of romance happening between them. When a scene that shows how they care for each other occurs they just put it off as something siblings do.

I get the feeling that this kind of people view Naruto with an American mentality instead of a Japanese one:
1)How many American movies star a shy but well intended girl (Hinata) trying to win the love of the charismatic guy (Naruto) and succeeding? Too many to count.
2)How many American movies star an energetic girl (Sakura) who tries to change the ways of the wild bad boy (Sasuke) for the better and succeeds at making him love her? A ridiculous amount.

This is the kind of movie resolution that many people are expecting because that's what they learned should happen based on the pop culture of the west. It is also because of their American mentality that they call Sakura abusive towards Naruto. Most of them probably don't know way the heck is a Tsundere and even if they do they don't understand how deep they go in anime culture. I'll be the first to admit that there are way better tsunderes than Sakura out there, but she's a tsundere none the less. The Japanese mentality, at least in anime, clearly shows that sometimes physical violence (especially from a girl) can be interpreted as a way of affection, either because of worry or embarrassment. On the other hand, in America, if a girl is constantly hitting you it is because she genuinely hates you, and this is the interpretation that some people take when it comes to Naruto and Sakura.

That is not what my sister looks like when asking me how she looks. As for Hinata, it is completely within her character to be happy when Naruto is happy. This includes when another girl is showing affection towards him. Also, what does "trust" have to do with anything? Just because Hinata has put her feelings out on the table doesn't mean Naruto can't still show interest in someone else. And please don't bring up a "development" argument if you're arguing for NH, it just makes you look like an idiot

Thank you very much! I've always thought about this. It always annoys me when people force their cultural value to a Japanese manga and criticize it because it's different to their culture. Few examples of this are Sakura hitting Naruto(=very abusive b*tch she hates him!), hugging and feeding him(=siblings), NejiHina(=it's disgusting and it's incest!) and so on and on. Western Culture is very different to Japanese Culture but I don't criticize it just because it's different to the Japanese one. That's pure arrogance.

To me it's all about development, and NaruSaku by far has the most romantic development in series. Is the only one that make sense and would not look forced if canon. NaruSaku shows both sides of development that other parings do not have.

When Sakura shows care or love for Sasuke, Naruto is either shows jealousy or sadness when that happens. Hinata or Sakura never shown jealousy or sadness for Naruto of Sasuke to other girls.

Naruto saves Sakura twice, from Gaara & Sasuke(the guy that Sakura loves for some odd reason) and both times were important for their development. Sakura or Hinata never once save Sasuke or Naruto in the series.

Sakura shown many times that she might having feelings for Naruto in Ch 245, 297, and 343(there are more chapters in part 1 & 2, but I can't think on top of my head right now). Naruto & Sasuke never shown any hints on having feelings for Hinata or Sakura, form ch 3 to all the way to ch 574.

Naruto & Sakura still have development to be canon, all Naruto needs to do is to acknowledge Sakura for her forehead, the bench scene, or bringing back Sasuke. Hinata can not do nothing at this point to make Naruto fall in love with her, Naruto is already acknowledge by his fellow ninjas and receive love by his parents, Naruto does not need anything right now but to stop the war and save Sasuke. And Sakura can not do anything for Sasuke on her own, except team 7 related, Naruto or Itachi are the only people that can convert Sasuke sane.

Also the confessions, Sakura & Hinata already confess to Sasuke & Naruto, and both Sakura & Hinata confessions were both about Sakura & Hinata, not Sasuke or Naruto. Naruto fells unworthy to confess to Sakura and Naruto will do anything to make Sakura happy, even if it goes against his own happiness. Biggest thing of all is that Naruto never force his love to Sakura, as for Sakura & Hinata who do the exact opposite with Sasuke & Naruto.

So how can Kishi do all this development for NaruSaku, just to do a 180 for SasuSaku & NaruHina. That does not make any sense, I think Kishi is a better writer then that.

It's the ONLY pairing that considers the feelings of both ides and not just about physical desire. Naruto and Sakura have shown an intimate bond the other shippings don't want to acknowledge cause it just destroys their own if they do.

Well, I think she's just going to have to deal with it like the good person that she is and just look at him from afar and realizing that its just not going to happen and just rise above it and do something that does not disturb Naruto's flow of life but something that makes her happy that does not have to do with Naruto.

When i saw your comment, i thought : in this war, maybe saku will be severely wounded and naruto would be extremely afraid of her dying and start to cry for her. Maybe hinata would witnessed it happening and realise that naru will always love saku.
This is a very realistic thing that could arrive during this war.

This. And he will hold her body tenderly, and his tears will drop on her face and he'll say how much he loves and needs her... That would be perfect.

Oh, oh... and what will you guys say on this?
Naruto's dying, he's lying unconscious on the ground and Sakura's using that technique Chiyo used to save Gaara (or uses all her chakra to save him, but it leads to her death or coma). Then Naruto wakes up, realizes what happened (Hinata's all happy stalking them from behing a tree), Naruto cries and stuff, but then Tsunade and other 4 kages arrive, Tsunade sees what happened to Sakura, uses that technique again, Sakura's alive, Naruto's happy, Hinata's → .

Lol, I know it's kind of silly and I didn't intent to bash Hinata, no, but I think that Tsunade will die anyway, Naruto's going to become Hokage after the war is over and Sakura will take over Tsunade's duties as the main M.D. I think it's a good way for Tsunade to pass away.

Naru's powerups are justified i think, and i also think he's increadibly powerfull now. But still, kishi makes his opponent worthy of fighting him. i really don't understand lol

I don't understand the argument that 559 was proNaruHina because of Neji, Shino, and Kiba's expressions. None of them were smiling and Neji looked jealous(i like NejiHina please don't kill me). What I'm asking is how can the guys' expressions be used to support NaruHina? And how can they be used to shoot it down.

I know right Hinata looked really depressed to me, she didnt have the look of a blushing bride or anything. I think NaruHina shippers use anything they can to justify the pairing. Even if it makes no sense at all
