If she lives theyll complain that Sakura only got it because kishimoto sensei pitied her or other completely ridiculous notion.

And a more ridiculous notion is this notion of sloppy seconds people keep throwing around. Sakura is Narutos first choice. if he chooses Hinata she will be his sloppy seconds. IF Sakura chooses Naruto he might be her second choice but we know hell be the truer one.

Also Sakura is more likely to risk her life to heal Naruto and keep him in the fight then to die uselessly in a kamikaze action. It might look close but shell pull out a suprise before its over.

exactly! The NH fanbas will throw a fit eaither way. I say just kill off the character and save the headach of "they'll gat together sometime" or something like that. I can picture even 5 years after naruto ends the NH fanbas will STILLargue with NS fans. They just don't know how to see the pairing isn't going to happen. The only couples that matter now are NS and SS. Even though SS may as well be counted as dead, it still poses the biggest threat. If Sasuke SOMEHOW showes feelings for Sakura it's over for NS fans. But it seems way too far out of character for Sasuke now, no matter what the SS fans say.

Not exactly... Even if Sasuke did show feelings for Sakura, SasuSaku wouldn't happen. Why? Sakura isn't stupid.

Sasusaku is dead for one primary reason. Kishimoto has sought to make Naruto's romantic story as realistic as possible and has also sought to make Sakura a honest and realistic character. Now, in reality, does anyone really want to be together with a murderer who personally tried to kill you? Question answered, let's move on from Sasusaku. Not happening, I feel certain about it.

On the other hand, people are worried about Naruhina. Okay, in this case, yeah Hinata likes Naruto. And okay, people can argue that Naruto "may" fall in love with Hinata. Then what the hell happens to Sakura who appears to love Naruto? Or is Sakura going to end up alone after all that has happened between her and Naruto. Now I know this is flawed since we aren't sure that Sakura loves Naruto. But I personally find it that if Sakura doesn't love Sasuke, then there's about a 70% chance minimum that she'll then love Naruto. Kishimoto isn't going to have Sakura love Naruto and have Naruto suddenly fall out of love with Sakura and chase Hinata. Too big of a transition in too little time left over in the manga. Like I've said, the chances of all this at this point are so low that I highly doubt Sasusaku or Naruhina will occur. In fact, as of right now, the two top possibilities for romantic outcomes is having no outcome at all or Narusaku, where having no outcome also seems unlikely simply due to Kishimoto's writing style who has put such a great emphasis on relationships in this manga (MinaKushi, JaraiTsu, KonaYahi, AsuKur, shall I keep going?).

Soo you're kinda sorta saying NS is "in the bag?" Kinda sounds like it too me. If so, thank God. It's about time this manga ended. I've tried to leve like...4 or 5 times...but the suspence of who gets who killed me the most. Now I'll be able to write my own books which are...somewhat inspired by Kishi. But It's inspired a lot more by a few NS fanfics. I just needed to see how to create a good lead female (which I did) and how to make a good villian (who is a total freaking duch bag) and a lead male (who is awsome). The biggest thing that it's probably inspired by in the whole "puting something inside someone" role. Naruto has the nine tails, Chris has the Grim Reaper's spirit. Ah, I'm getting off topic. PM me if you think it sounds interesting. I really don't have a problem talking with people about it.

Soo, you're saying SS is dead either way? I wish I could jump out of my chair and scream...but I'm saving that for rubbing our victory into the NH faces lol
I agree. You'd think someone would get the point that the guy dosen't love you after trying to kill you THREE FREAKING TIMES!!! I'll admit, I do like the pictures of SS, but NS just makes more sence and is more realistic. And I've always liked Sakura and I think Naruto should be happy after dealing with such a terrible childhood. Hint Hint NH fans that's not Hinata. It's Sakura! I think Sakura's probably the only one who could handle him lol. She's prettier (in my opinion) than Hinata anyway. Idk, I'm a sucker for bright green eyes or brown eyes

Well, I think she's just going to have to deal with it like the good person that she is and just look at him from afar and realizing that its just not going to happen and just rise above it and do something that does not disturb Naruto's flow of life but something that makes her happy that does not have to do with Naruto.

hmm first i like hinata ^^ she's cute but i hate to death naruhina.. why? well i have just read all the manga chapters of naruto and first hinata barely appears and second... naruto doesn't even care about her, he doesn't even think about her... Also, the whole hinata deservees naruto and sakura not... well lo0ve isn't about deserving but about companionship, about taking care of each other, about understanding each other and about loving each other... this is one of the things that makes me love narusaku, the false confession of sakura...for example, shows how much naruto knows her (chpter 470 page 3) naruto: that sounds just like and excuse to me. i think i know you better than that.
they know so much about each other that well u all know hehe. also they are always protecting each other, taking care of each other. naruto is able to be himself with sakura and sakura is able to be herself with naruto (something sakura can't do with sasuke... i also love this couple xD... and something naruto certainly can't do with hinata)
now, maybe this is just my imagination but for me, i think naruto is a pervert but only with sakura, she's the only woman that naruto wants to (don't know how to say it english so i'll leave it in spy) spy while she's taking a bath in the onsen (first mision with yamato and sai) i have only seen naruto as pervert whenever he is with sakura or things related to her xD (at least when they are 15-16 years old)

Honestly, to save any respect for her, she would kindly step aside. I understand she loves him, but you know as they say if you love something set it free I guess. It;s not easy to do, but if she did for the sake of Naruto's happiness, then i would give her back all the props she lost in the past.

I badly want Hinata to die, my reasons. Her fanbase is too big. She is very irrelevant to the plot but still if Hinata does something it becomes the someone crucial like Itachi sealing Orochimaro. But I was heartened to see many people on Narutofourms turning on her. I was there a year ago and rarely anyone said something bad about her (fear of revenge negative rep from her fandom). But when I on there a few days back I found too many comments regarding her insignificance. I got rep just for say she is very very minor. Ino is more relevant than her.

Anyway on top I think what Kishimoto is trying to do here is overshadow. Allow me to explain, he knows Hinata is popular so perhaps to fuel that he gives a screen time here and there and makes it look like her pairing is doing good. BUT. He drops hints of Sakura having regrets regarding sasuke or think about her feelings, but that is overshadowed by Hinata to hide them. So it might be a big surprise in the end. That is what i think, anyone come to the same assumption.

I did during the Pain fight, but not now. I see no point. It would have served a purpose then, but now what would it do other than prove he has the guts to kill a rookie 9 member or end this front of the pairing debates without having to actually resolve anything. I guess he could replicate the Pain fight moment, but it's kind of been there done that. It wouldn't be the same and I'd wonder why not do it earlier.

Second, when is a fanbase "too big" and why does NH fit that description? Killing her off won't solve that problem. Most of the currents fans would either view her as a martyr or Kishimoto as a pariah (or both) for doing it.

To the extent there is overshadowing, I think that has to do with recency more than anything else. I don't think he actively trying to do overshadow prior moments with these.

As for it being a surprise...well, no matter what he does it will be a huge surprise for one chunk of the fandom and "Gee, I told you so" for another because almost everyone (of the NH, SS, NS group) is convinced their ship is cannon.

As I said before NH fans don't really believe in their pairing. They only want their little moe princess to be happy. if they were actually basing their pairing on fact they would know they have none, or very little to go on outside of fillers. It's not really about mutual love for them it's seeing Hinata getting what she wants cause they HAVE to hug her kiss her and protect her.
