Doubt it. If there's a new "Naruto" in the future, expect once again a pairing war. I guess that's one thing that LoK did right even though it was a mess.Im gonna guess that Naruto's pairing wars is the biggest ever and most likely will ever be?

Okay, sorry.
Now I know that people don't like Naruto x Sasuke(girl) and Ino(guy) x Sakura, I will just shut up.
Come to think of it this is a NaruSaku thread, I should have been more careful

Funny enough, FT had potential to spark a pairing war on Naruto's scale, but Mashima chickened out. I wouldn't be so surprised if Kishi gave him advice:
Mashima: Kishimoto-sensei, what are you doing, calling this late?
Kishi: Hiro-kun, for the love of god, do not try to make a LOVE TRIANGLE!!!
Mashima: What are you talking about, sensei?
Kishi: I'm talking about NaLi vs NaLu!! I just read your newest chapter (198), and I hope to god you're not going to make the same mistake I did!!!
Mashima: What's wrong with that?
Kishi: What's wrong?? What's wrong??!! What's wrong is how you're severely underestimating fandoms!!!
Mashima: Seriously??
Kishi: Go and check the wretched hive that is called the interwebz and call me the next morning. Type in Narusaku and Naruhina and show me what you get.
*next morning*
Mashima: Ok, sensei you were right. I'm seriously regretting it now.
Kishi: Good, now you have to figure out a way outta this mess.
Mashima: Well, trolling always works...
Kishi: You've been to Kubo's haven't you?
The family that couldn't be.

I actually think that might be true. The tension between those two already cause people to make gay jokes about them despite it being obvious that Naruto likes girls and Sasuke just being neutral to anything sexual.
Also, I don't think it's that common that there's a story with a male hero and a female rival, so that would've also been innovative.
I think most commonly it's a hero and rival who are both male or female, or (I think mostly in Shoujo) a female hero and male rival. So having a story being told from the perspective of a guy that wants to be acknowledged by a girl in terms of both power and love is something I would like to see.
Also, how can you hate this:
u just converted me to a narusasu shipper as well xD
I can't even say good bye to you for the last time
I'm sorry

Well I think FT is far better not having any pairing wars. I heard Hiro was never going to have lisanna come back but because of the anime reiving her he had to.
Rave master didnt have pairing wars ( i belive) and neither does FT and i think its for the better.

Lol. That's pretty funny.
Yeah, I was a bit surprised that the "love triangle" didn't happen but at the same time, I asked myself, "What is the point of her coming back?" I mean the torch was passed before the last fight with Hades, so I don't get it. But anyway, imagine that. Lol.

The torch from lisanna to lucy?
Wasn't the nali flashbacks in anime only?

That was in manga special if I remember but someone feel free to correct me. Also, well yeah, telling Lucy that stay together with Natsu at all time because he is stronger that way, which Lucy did. Plus, why her and not everyone else. It's a clear message. That's why we don't see anything else for NaLi.

I'm gunna go all out and say the next narusaku moment that happens will be the one that will stop all the debating because people will definitely see how obvious the endgame is now.
I think three more chapters as a lot of you guys have already stated an opinion about it .. 650 ?

It's not a matter of how many chapters for me

with all the life and death moments that will be happening in this next volume (because it will possibly be the last one of the war) it's pretty clear if there is a moment, it will be on a huge and grand scale and will set it in stone as the obvious pairing even if there are more moments to come in the future.
Hmm, Yeah.. I am wondering if the other sections of the fandom will find a way to deny that? I wouldn't be surprised if it was otherwise.. What do you guys think will assassinate SS ? As for NH we already killed them , but still deny it ..

well Sasuke already started killing SS from the get go . And imo Sakura-chan finished killing it off already . she been did it imo when she chose Naruto over Sasuke . but thats my opinion .

Nothing will ever stop the "debating". People always look for loop holes to explain why this or that happened the way that it did, and when they can't find any in the chapter itself, they make them up. Look at #631. We have:
1) Minato assuming Sakura to be Naruto's girlfriend.
2) Naruto agreeing that she's "more or less" his girlfriend.
3) Sakura not denying any of it.
4) Confirmation of the Sakura/Kushina parallel from Minato.
Even though we believe this is evidence enough of Kishimoto's intentions, there are those that argue against it.
1) Minato doesn't know Naruto on a personal level, so he doesn't know about his feelings for Hinata.
2) Naruto meant "girl friend", as in a friend that happens to be female, not girlfriend.
3) Sakura hits Naruto right after he says it because she doesn't agree.
4) Parallels mean nothing.
Of course, we do the same thing with NaruHina and SasuSaku moments. Fans of NH felt that #615 was concrete evidence of Naruto's love for Hinata, but most of us here found other ways to explain the reason why that interaction happened.
We all take different things away from each chapter, so this never ending fight will just keep going back and forth. Two characters could share a kiss on panel and there would still be arguments made that one character is confused, or they haven't had a chance to respond to so-and-so's confession yet, or it was just platonic, so on and so forth...
If anything, I can see this ship war worsening whenever the final pairing(s) are revealed. We're going to start seeing arguments like this: "Naruto and Sakura will break up eventually because she abuses him so much", or "Naruto's feelings for Sakura will eventually come between his relationship with Hinata", or "Sakura won't stay in a loveless marriage. Once she sees how Sasuke really is, she'll leave him." The speculation will never die.

Here's the worse of the worse: "Those kids aren't theirs..." or "That baby is adopted, it isn't Sakura and Naruto's..."
What's Happening with the Naruto series as of now!
