I swear the villain and his lackey look boring, though perhaps this might be Kaguya reincarnated into a guy because it sure as hell looks like it.

Konohamaru. That would be the logical explanation but we all know logic doesn't apply to this story so Sasuke taught him. Yeah it doesn't make sense but that's the point of it.
according to tv tropes Bolt and Salad's team leader is konohamaru...I not sure how they found that out?

Cause the anime is kitten, with forever dropping ratings, so they need to think of a way to keep people interested in Naruto.
How is it doing right now anyways? I heard alot people say the some people in Japan were going to stop watching after the CPR scene (it going back to filler certainly didn't help it). But how is it doing right now?

But I don't think that Japanese naruto watcher will stop watch it after the CPR episode. They will still continue to watch it.
As long as there's enough viewer, the anime will still airing.
