Aye. Some SasuSaku shipping was expected, there was no proof that she had ever moved on from him yet. Tbh, all this chapter did was confirm that Sakura still has feelings for Sasuke and that Sasuke could care less about Sakura.

As Lifeless Leo says, it should have never been seen as a pairing story. That is one of the reasons why I'm not particularly picky in how NS (or any pairing really), happens. Naruto was always b seen as a Shonen manga first, and nothing else really.

I'm sorry...I am totally and utterly confused by the word play in this one....

Sakura says "I still loved you" which is past tense, but she talks in present tense about being together if she he comes back. This reminds me of the Sasuke leaving scene all over again where Sakura confesses and Sasuke ends up knocking her out and saying 'thank you.' Instead, he just knocks her out and calls her annoying and saying he has no interest in her. The chapter itself even once again tries to go back to said scene.

This time Sasuke literally states "I have no interest in her at all." Once again, a huge rejection that that finally bruns the remains of SS for good. It was already dead and buried, but now the even the ashes have been burned.

I was in discussion with another member here about it and I find myself pondering what Kishi's game is. I am kind of...I don't want to have a real opinion at the moment. To me, things are still status quo, but maybe I am just tired of the drama and the pairing wars in general. People jumping ship because of this because apparently Sakura is still in love with Sasuke? Come on, SS cannot happen at all. Sasuke does NOT love Sakura at all. No matter how she might love or does love him, he cannot reciprocate those feelings and to all of a sudden say that he would after this fight with Naruto is utterly ridiculous and bad writing. Naruto is also still in love with Sakura and is not in love with Hinata. This chapter proved nothing, but restated everything again on the status of the group.

I'm...I don't know what to say. At this point alot people are abandoning ship, some others are calling Sakura useless and weak again, and I am still sighing and holding my head. We have reached a pinnacle point where words mean nothing anymore and now people just have to enjoy the ride.

Add to this the whole translation fiasco that normally happens in such chapters, and the entire non Japanese Naruto fandom gets totally confused . Kishi certainly never helps when it comes to these kinda things. He purposefully words it vaguely, in such a way that its possible for multiple interpretations. And yep it works, the shipping war explodes.

AYEEE HAHAH! I don't know I can't imagine anything but ns in the end of this manga. I think this is just kishi trying to make his story interesting.

I wish I was a character in the series because I would have definitely defended Sakura. But I also would have smacked Sakura and told her not to take any of his crap anymore. Grow a spine and stop letting him walk all over you and making light of your feelings. I can't take seeing those pitiful expressions she keeps making. As a fan of Sakura, it breaks my heart seeing that kitten.

I mean we had a good run with some moments but like we have been told they will never been. So that being said we all should be ready for Hinata Uzimaki

But then, people will just go on about how Naruto was a silver medal, a consolation prize for Sakura. I think it's better if she becomes empowered and comes to her own resolution about this, without external factors deciding everything for her. She's strong and smart, so it's time that she stands up to Sasuke and has full closure with him, as well as find out how things have changed between her and Naruto.  

This was the perfect chapter for Sakura to stand up to Sasuke. When she made that angry face the line that came out of mouth should've been "You know what Sasuke? kitten you, I"m done with your bullsh** and I hope Naruto kicks your ass." or "I'm joining this battle and will beat the crap out of you." or anything else. Not the bullsh** we got in this chapter.

 

Regardless if Sakura's dialog was in the past or present. It goes against her development. There was absolutely no reason for her to go "Oh if you felt/feel something for me, please don't do this." after all the times where she sees that Sasuke isn't a good guy. After all the crap that Sasuke did to her and Naruto and others as well. She starts begging? That's pathetic.

 

I don't like Sasuke at all, but I loved what in did to her. Too bad it wasn't real.

 

 

Oh and one more thing. Naruto was even worse than Sakura in this chapter.

But how many times needs sasuke to still show that he doesn't care?! It's not like he wants sakura to keep on chasing after him- he told her back then when she confessed that they are different and that they'll walk different paths. Sasuke's quote is nothing but the complete truth.In this case Sakura or the way kishi potrays love is wrong and sick. The love of a twelve years old girl lasts that long and still exists even after the other person abuses you and doesn't give a crap about you. That, while ignoring someone like naruto who gives you nothing but sunshine.

You know I don't pity sakura at all by now. I pity naruto. again she shoves in his face that she loves sasuke.

Awww poor Sakura, Kishi has butchered her character again, she was so pathetic this chapter (sorry for her fans), if only she could stand for herself or if only her feelings made sense to begin with, even Sasuke highlighted that.
The good news is every chapter brings us closer to the end of this manga.
