I think that Naruro would be done with Sasuke if Sakura died.

It has nothing to do with smartness. Her emotions will be out of control during this fight and at such times a person doesn't act instinctively but rather acts impulsively.

 

For example: The bridge scene where Naruto transformed to four-tailed form. I'm sure Sakura knew it would be dangerous to approach Naruto then but what did she do? She got very emotional and acted on impulse. At that moment the only thing that was important to her was Naruto's safety, not her safety.

Then she got whacked by Naruto's tail

Why do people NOT ship these two? I just don't get it.

Probably cause they hate Sakura. When she's probably the most developed female character in the whole show.

I respect Hinata, but Sakura deserves some too.

I really don't expect much of this fight, besides a possible Sakura interference, but other than that, I won't be too hyped. Based on how unsatisfying the latest battles have been and how Kishi seems to be on a time crunch with the upcoming movie, the mystery is not really who will win, but how is Kishi gonna squeeze the climax battle, NS canonization, SA acceptance of Sasuke, and clean up between the shinobi nations in just 11 chapters.

 

Unless the future chapters are longer that the usual, I can't see anything coming to a satisfying conclusion.

 

( Though, there is still the possibility that after the battle Sasuke, along with Naruto, awakens the alliance. Then he takes off with his team and Orochimaru for several years, with 'The Last' being the actual ending to Sasuke's retrieval.)

Watch this actually happen lol. If Naruto overpowers him quick and tells him off that'd be chapter of the year. In the end I don't think the fight will last long. Maybe something like this will happen to either Sasuke or Naruto.

You're right. I just don't have any idea how will kishi end his story. I just hoped that Naruto will not be overwhelmed by his emotions to his waifu which is... Sasuke obviously.
