You mean appmon? i don't know digimon lately is getting more generic with its sequels. I don't mind tamers and froniter and a bit of xros cross but thats it for me. I thing this series is better if it got darker and is more for teens and adult. 

 

Who knows later will get to dark things like the others seasons begin cool, then dark like Tamers.

I think we'll see a new digimon in the final part. There was  also two new digimons in their ultimate evolution battling each other when they got to the digital world it will be experienced again with Hikari, but she will experience something similar to the dark ocean.

She said it in the second movie, I believe but not sure though she did mentioned them

Are they Ultimates? Still it reminded me of the old days when they were fighting, I hope the 5th movie is mostly about Hikari...mostly cause she is my favorite...

I think Himekawa has the upper hand of this mess. I feel like Gennai is infected too. What's the reason he would do that deliberately on the digimons ? Unless there is a past we don't know of him, I think he's infected. Maybe also Himekawa is infected because of a digimon controlling from somewhere in the shadows.

 

About Machinedramon, it's the one of the Dark Masters.

 

About nobody remembering sad memories.. What sad memories ? XD There's no important sad memories of their past that calls the plot to remember it for now. They got tearful and dramatic in Part 3 about their digimon partners and we'll see also how they'll their partners recall them. It's more than enough.

 

Also concerning Ken, they did wonder and ask two or three times about Ken. Hikari and T.K gone to see him at his house, but there was no one. So, the plot moves forward for other things to be shown. They can't stick to one thing all the time. As for the black digivice and D-3 of Ken, Himekawa explained to them about it. Of course, there's something behind it like taking it from Ken maybe.

I think the season 2 characters are imprisoned or hold back.

 

 

Maybe they won't follow the season 2 epilogue and do pair up these two.

 

 

 

Nop. Not the only ones. I hope they correct this mistake and do Tai x Sora, T.K x Hikari.

The reason why Tai x Sora didn't happen is cause the creator, or someone else don't remember,  thought of them as cliché and that's it. Just for this reason. 

I don't see where the problem is if it was well done. They already got moments and two movies about them reciprocating. Though, don't know if the two movies could be counted.

 

Luckily, Tri isn't following the near of the season 2 ending where they showed Yamato and Sora dating. Tri is supposed to follow events after season 2, but we have Yamato and Sora being friends and not a couple. Sora is shown torn between Tai and Yamato.

As for T.K and Hikari, there are hints, but like Tai x Sora, it's unknown if they'll follow their own route or follow the epilogue... Here's for the former XD

I never got into tk x hikari, I always liked davis more than tk, didn't like how he always got the short end of the stick, when he was the reason kimeramon was beaten and was the one that broke out of malomyotismon's dream worlds.

and the v tamer manga had the alternate tai explain the reason davis got the goggles, which made why he got them instead of tk have much more sense.

I always thought tk x hikari was kinda overblown and overrated, since they're the so called "perfect couple", taiora is a much better relationship than that one.

but to each their own.

and with tamers I feel takatoxrika would make more sense than ryoxrika, rika doesn't even really know ryo, she hates the guy and doesn't know anything about the events of the wonderswan games detailing ryo's backstory.

she always was closer than takato since he was the one who got her to open up and was her first real friend.

 

 

EDIT: also why people count runaway locomon as non canon is beyond me, it made the most sense as a canon movie than most of the digimon movies, and I don't see how the evolution error or them having their digimon back without showing how they got them back is a good enough argument to discredit them, they already teased them getting them back when takato saw the portal at the end, it was obvious they were coming back without having to show a digital world trip. and an evolution name error shouldn't discredit it either....

Those are not quite new Alphamon and Jesmon belongs to the Royal Knights, Alphamon his debut I believe was in the movie Digimon project X. He is the most powerful RK and the leader. Jesmon is newest and youngest of the Royal Knights, but they are new just in anime.

Thats true digimon does have a lot positive aspect in the show thats why i enjoyed tamers and a bit of frontier and xros cross. It also has cool concept. art and world building. Shipping is the only thing that really disappoints.

As for takari i don't think it was suppose to be canon since not much was said about the pairs and the 02 ending didn't make them canon.

 Yeah. Digimon had always a dark theme in its plot from time to time. That's how I got used to it.
 
Yeah. Yamato and Sora dating out of nowhere more than half way over in season 2 was out of place. The thing is they never had moments or anything. They just happen and the fans were left asking what happened to Tai and Sora.
 
I just hope they follow their own route instead of the epilogue. Still, it's better to stay on the safe side that Sorato will happen due to the epilogue in season 2.
By the way, I think Tai x Sora x Yamato, romance wise, will be addressed in the next part to some extent due. If they chose to remain Sorato, they should tell us how, why and what about Tai. Meiko won't work. She would be like a replacement. Tai never shown interest nor Meiko. She blushes on many things.

its a big possibility, from the wonderswan games ryo/ken backstory, it explains that millenniummon was the cause of everything, apocalymon, the dark spore in ken,the dark ocean,kimeramon, myotismon reviving, everything, but on the other hand it wouldn't make sense unless there was a tamers crossover of some sort because milleniummon should still be sealed inside ryo's monodramon and is the reason he becomes cyberdramon at all and stays in the form and is aggressive. so unless it involves time travel and they defeat him temporarily and he goes back in time to the adventure or 02 days before fighting ryo the other times, I think it'd be more likely to be a crossover, heck they could end the last movie on a cliffhanger and then have a series or something continuing where it left off for a crossover..

 

@T XD actually to be technical ken and ryo are season 1 characters, there were actually 10 original digidestined, including ken and ryo, they just weren't part of the other 8 because they were time traveling dealing with millenniummon, heck the first wonder swan game has ryo rescuing tai and the others from all the revived adventure villains then defeating them and millenniummon.both ryo and ken had the adventure digivices before they converted to the ones of their respective anime seasons, I think the wonder swan game with ken came out before 02 also.

 

ryo is originally from the adventure universe and saved it multiple times so a crossover could be possible. he was in he games long before tamers existed.

yeah millenniummon was supposedly the true partner of ryo, ryo possessed powers equal to that of millenniummon, even without a partner, originally he didn't even have a partner and lead an army of digimon against him. ryo somehow getting back to the adventure universe is possible, and it would be interesting seeing the tamers' reaction to the fact adventure and 02 were real, just an alternate earth connected to a different quadrant of the digital world, and the fact ryo kept everything a secret from them. kinda makes you wonder who was behind the card game and tv show lol
