It does make for an interesting crack pairing.
I'm slowly beginning to like this odd ship...they are more similar then most fans believe

Or it's just reactions shots. That what it is. Honestly, NH is gone. It's not like Hinata will go:
Hinata: Um...Minato-San....
Minato: Who are you?
Hinata: Do...I remind you of someone?
Minato: ...no...but we're in war.
She got no place in this anymore.

She's not even there I don't know if she even heard it tbh.

...and it was...in fact, it was very very very good!
So in this chapter we have:
- Minato commenting on Naruto and Sakura's relationship, even going as far as assuming that Sakura is Naruto's girlfriend.
- Minato confirming the Sakura/Kushina parallel.
- Naruto confirming his feelings for Sakura. "Uuuhmmm...uhm? Yeah! Well, that's more or less it...
- Sakura reacting in a very tsundere like manner to Naruto's claim, but without going so far as to outright deny it.
I must say, when Minato landed right next to Naruto and Sakura, my expecting were quite high. I was hoping that Minato would comment on Naruto and Sakura's relationship in some way or another or that we would at the very least compare Sakura with Kushina.
But now we're getting both?! That is just too much. Just kidding. It's not too much at all. In fact, I wan't more!
When Naruto and Sasuke started walking towards the battle, I was afraid that Kishi would now sideline Sakura and focus exclusively on Naruto and Sasuke. However, not only is Sakura going to fight. She's also going to utilize what will no doubt be an awesome new technique.
Also, the NS interaction was just so perfect in this chapter. That fierce and determined look that Sakura gave Naruto and that warm smile that he gave in return.
Kishi, I love you!!!
Speaking of Sasuke, he was easily the weakest part of the chapter and that's mostly becuase I still haven't warmed up to the idea of him being a good guy. Still, judging by his frankly arrogant and dismissive behaviour towards his former comrades, It would seem like he still hasn't completely rejected the "dark side". Both Naruto and Sakura seems to have picked up on this. I liked how it showed a flashback to Itachi's speech about acknowledgement. Sasuke may want to become hokage, but I nobody wants to acknowledge him as their leader, then it's no good. It seems like the final battle between Naruto and Sasuke will be one of ideals, with Naruto representing Hashirama and Sasuke representing Madara.
As for Hashirama and especially Madara, all I can say is "denied!"
Definetely looking forward to the next chapter.

Join the ship! Sasuke will fail for Hinata. There has to be a reason for Hinata to be acting... blank.

By all means, please let Hinata confront Sakura. Kishi can bring to a head all of the development that has occurred throughout the manga for both pairings and we can finally understand what these two women think of each other as well as their relationships with Naruto. I want to see how Sakura would address her position as Naruto's love interest being challenged by the only contestable woman of the manga. Would she simply disregard the prospect and allow Hinata the opportunity to seek Naruto's affections? Or will she assume a defencive personality against the insistences that Naruto should love someone else besides herself?

Good point. To be truly honest, I don't even think they like each other. At least that's the subtle vibe I've always got from them.

the best part was Naruto basically saying " yeah, she might as well be"
......I just love it when kishi confirms Naruto still loves Sakura.......cause after her confession I guess it was unclear to some people >:T

Because i sincerely cant buy that she had this power all along.
Sakura was all but missing for 3 ARCS before the Shinobi World War.
She definitely had time had time. The only way I would really feel it's an asspull is if she somehow turns up with Strength of a Hundred + Slug Summons. Now we might have an asspull...
But it's an asspull I'm ok with considering the amount of times she's been crapped on by the fanbase.

LOL I don't think it's that. They're just not close. Not as close as she is with people like Ino, or Shikamaru and such.

Lolz at the first part
@Bolded
Which is why I'm thinking more and more perhaps someone is about to sacrifice themselves. It could be Hinata, I say this because she has already tried twice ...and failed in Naruto's protection. It would be a real kick to both fan bases if she jumps in front of Sakura to "protect Naruto's happiness" (I urge you to watch Les Mis where Eponine dives in front of Marius and dies to protect him even though she knows he'll never love her like he does Cosette.....their situation is so similar)
It would be the only way Kishi could satisfy both naruhina and narusaku.......while the former would be angry they would have a martyr type character to deify.

There's only one arc and a mini-arc about Naruto's training and only that, not three arcs, i just hope he doesnt show that she had this power all long, it's stupid and would make the story full of inconsistences like she playing the damsel in distress on purpose when she could use her "real power" to do a huge impact.
