If what a youtube user has sent to ChibiReview's is actually true, then I'm gonna cry:
So apparently Imperial Scans f-cked up (again) and left out something vital that Shirazu's little sister in the hospital was saying:

" Genshin-oni-chan, I want to be beautiful... As beautiful as a princess..."

Nutcracker said those exact same words (kind of) before she died! No wonder it impacted him soo much!

Oh wow. That is pretty crucial. That's something it shouldn't be altered as it does give more reason why Shirazu wasn't feeling well. Man, we need a new translator. I'm still baffled arguably the next best thing doesn't get the amount of support like the so-called holy trinity.

It's like not laughing at Gintama. Clearly, something is wrong with you.

But seriously, calm before storm is what this chapter was. The operation is underway and like many arcs in the series, the explosiveness occur after long buildup. There is a lot to think of from this buildup, but if you're dire to see the climax, well, waiting game is what it is. Kind of feel like how I see GoT. Where's the dragons? When is winter? When is the action? No, not saying GoT is boring, at least in my opinion, but it has a lot of buildup and characterization.

Uhm, I think I understand why you're feeling that way. While I loved the last two chapters, that has more to do with all the info dump we've been given as of lately. When it comes to TG, I just loooove reading theories and use the wiki and tumblr for this quite a lot (AHK knows). The mystery surrounding the origin of ghouls keeps building up, and Ishida is doing a nice job at gradually building up the character interactions in a natural pace.
If I were not too much interested in the CCG though... I can imagine this chapter to be quite dull.

Agreed. Though this chapter is more of calm before storm and certainly seems like the storm is going to be a typhoon level at this rate. There's a lot of troubles brewing in and a lot of characterizations that needed to show without being so exposition. It's like a small glance/reference is all it needs to make it effective.
