@Derock - Ah yes, I remember that, I think I downloaded that art book. Have to admit I giggled when I saw Naruto and Sakura's matching swimwear. Didn't I read somewhere that Kishi didn't want to draw Sakura in bikini bottoms out of being overprotective in revealing too much of her figure, opting for shorts instead? Whatever it was it's fine by me, I prefer the bra and shorts look anyway. It fits with Sakura's more tomboyish personality.

No. All of the Jinchurikis and their bijus were revealed in the current artbook, which is the ones containing all of the art from the end of part 1 to the end of the Pain arc (I believe that it stopped at the old Team 7 and Team Yahiko) and the Weekly Shonen Jump promotional artwork (i.e. Naruto in various costumes and the swim wear for Sakura and Naruto).

Ah thanks. I remember reading somewhere that they were reviled in extra material before the manga but I didn't know where.

You know, I really like that Kishimoto does not sexually objectify his main heroine. He never has, not once - that I can remember. Even swimsuit things like this one are appropriate. Pretty, but not overtly sexy.

He didn't do it with Kushina either.

However, Hinata has had loads of fanservice. It's interesting to think that Sakura is one of the very, very few females in the manga to not have some extra skin showing or flaunting their feminine wiles, implying he feels a need to protect them/make them normal. Those characters are off limits. Shows how important they are to him.

With Kushina, it's sweet and maternal. But I'd be willing to bet that with Sakura it's more daughterly (for Kishimoto, creating a character that is like a child). Again, there is a sense of protection there that's not with the other female characters.

Not to mention it's further evidence against that argument that Sakura is flat chested. She'll never have a huge cleavage, but I'd say she fills that bra well, and she doesn't strike me as a girl who'd use pads.

Random observation but it's interesting to think how protective Kishi is of Sakura and revealing her body but then the anime completely disregards that and makes one of the endings focus on Sakura in a bikini on the beach, I think they also did it in Part 1.

Hmm, maybe. I was thinking about the same scene happening with naruto and sakura. Maybe during naruto is fighting sasuke, sakura will be waiting in konoha thinking the same like tsunade (if you come back you wont have to play the though guy in front of me anymore). I mean its possible right?

This can happen to Sakura and Naruto if he ever goes off to fight Sasuke. Maybe that's when the forehead kiss will happen, like:
Naruto: I promise you will return. but in the meantime, let me give you something I've always wished for. *you-know-wat*
Sakura: ... ...

Then he returns home

It's possible to happen the same for them, but I think Kishi would imply it in a different way and not the same.

Yeah, maybe something like that, something similar... But I found it weird that when Tsunade started to open her heart to Jiraiya it happened exactly on a similar scenery.

@sushi & @Chatte - That's a nice idea. I also made my own prediction on a possible chapter 3 revelation, which I posted in the 615 thread. I'll put in here too in case people haven't read it.

The scenario I like to envision, in the case of the bench scene ever being revealed, is one where Naruto is wounded, near death even, and Sakura is hovering over him trying desperately to heal him. And Naruto, fearing that he isn't gonna make it, suddenly reaches out to Sakura and before she can react, pulls her in close enough to plant a kiss on her forehead. Then, upon letting her go the conversation that followed would be something along the lines of:

Naruto: (soft laugh) I've wanted to do that for so long...
Sakura: (flustered) W-w-what are you -
Naruto: - I mean after all, your forehead is so...
Sakura: ...?
Naruto: (smiles) ...So charming.
Sakura: ?
Sakura: .....! (gasps)
(At this point we're given 3-4 panels of flashbacks of chap.
3 and then...)
Sakura: You....y-you mean...it...it was you...?
Naruto: (smiling warmly, tearing up)
Sakura: (tearing up) It was you?!

Aand thats as far as I've got, but it's something of a potential moment I can imagine happening if chapter 3 was ever revisited.

You mean when Tsunade and Jiraya had a scene drinking Sake , then they said their goodbyes before Jiraya his fight with Pain? Of course the same thing I would like to happen but NS instead of drinking the would eat ramen.

No not that, i mean i can also imagine that happen, but i ment the scene after jiraya already left and tsunade was looking out of the window from the Hokages office thinking about him saying:"If you make it back here you wont have to put on tough front for me anymore"

If Sakura says that he doesn't have to act tough anymore, or something like that, it will hopefully mean that Naruto will finally open up his feelings to someone for the first time. If Sakura is that person, NS will be boom-boom-win. She already said something similar in 573, if Naruto wants to hide, she won't let him do as he please

At this point, I really don't think Kishi has a plan. He's just a dog chasing cars; he wouldn't know what to do with one if he caught it. He just does things.

I think he has but it depends on how the next chapters he will make, i know why Sakura is unable to be a heroine for the while.

He has the ending planned out. Details and details are just being filled in so he's not going to change his *perfect ending*
