While it's true that she has no clue what Shu went through over the last three yrs, one thing I need to remind you of though is that Touka and Shu were never on equal ground. They never were friends to begin, unlike Kaneki and Shu. So I can't blame her and Nishiki to act so hostile towards him. They couldn't even imagine that Shu might truly care for Kaneki and co.
Oh, I wasn't expecting them to act all buddy buddy in the first place. Plus, I really wasn't here for everybody trying to bash Touka anyways on tumblr. It's just the spoilers at first made it seem like she was trying to push all the blame on Shuu for bringing Sasaki/Kaneki back in the ghoul world. Then it's not like I don't exactly agree with Touka's viewpoint, because I do think she has a valid point. But I also agree with Shuu's, because I honestly don't think (save for a few people) that the CCG would hesitate putting Sasaki down if the time actually calls for it.
So I can see why Touka would want for him to stay human (since he didn't get that chance after the whole Rize disaster), but I'm still able to see why Shuu would want Sasaki/Kaneki to get his memories back so he can actually make that choice for himself. Then I really don't have any reason to be mad at Touka because she does understand how Shuu's feeling, so it's not like she just wants to leave Sasaki/Kaneki to his own devices.
Does it matter if she knows or not? What he went through for 3 years is absolutely irrelevant. He was talking about getting the gang back together, but as Nishiki said, it wasn't for Kaneki's sake, it was for his own. For his ego, not because it was actually better for Kaneki.
Touka has every right to call him out, considering that she's actually thinking about his welfare, while Tsukiyama isn't thinking about it at all. Touka understands how he feels only in wanting Kaneki to come back, but that doesn't mean they're similar in any regard. Of the two, Touka is the only one that is actually demonstrating care for Kaneki.
Edit: if you really want to talk about what happened over 3 years, Tsukiyama did nothing but mope around miserable at the fact that he lost what he considered a prize, Touka stood tall and built a home for Kaneki to come back to should he ever be able to come back. So yes, Touka has every right to call Tsukiyama out.
"Something he considered a prize". Lol nah, if Shuu really thought of Kaneki as just a prize at the end, he wouldn't have been so eager to get the old group together as much as he is now. He wouldn't feel that sad about the fact that Kaneki/Sasaki has a new life. And by prize, I'm guessing you mean by something he wants to eat, which is far from being true because when has Tsukiyama mentioned once that he wants to eat Kaneki since he came back? Those 3 years aren't irrelevant, because she still doesn't have any kind of damn clue what went on between Shuu and Kaneki during the time they were together or how it affected him after he went off to save Anteiku.
And lol, if Touka has every right to call Tsukiyama out, he has just as much to call her out on since she spent the rest of part 1 literally being sad about the fact that, lol, people change when they go through traumatic experiences. She spent a lot of the time wanting the old Kaneki back, when she knew deep down that that was never going to come back. I didn't see Shuu trying to force him to be somebody he couldn't be anymore, but nope, Touka beats the crap out of him, calls him trash, and then proceeds to tell him to never come back to Anteiku. I mean, it's not like that would make him feel even more sh*tty than he already does feel, but whatever. A+ for Touka definitely caring for Kaneki's wellbeing. And how is she going to act like the CCG is a better place for him, when save for a few people, they'd be ready to strike him down in a heartbeat. Lol, I'd love to see her say that when she finds out that Hinami's trapped in Cochlea by the same people who are doing SO much for Sasaki/Kaneki right now
