Well after watching the movie the "Sasuke-kun would definatly understand me" line hurt like hell. But when she realizes she was soooo wrong the feels....

The moment she sees sasuke being a playboy... priceless

Funny how there's no follow-up for that, so it was really meant for Naruto for Sakura. I'm just glad she took it like "Yeah, I get it." rather than world just ended.

Yeah that line made no sense and didn't score any points with me. Still, I think Kishi's main point was that throughout the whole series and the movie, whenever Sakura has needed help, Sasuke has rarely ever been there for her. Naruto is the one who has always had her back.

So I finally watched the movie with subs. This is the most brilliant movie in the entire series even if you're any kind of shipper. Shipping away, this movie was brilliant! I wish I had the time to do a proper review. It had so many undertones and layers to it I can't even explain. And I smell a lot of foreshadowing within it. It's a combination of what it was on the past and what it will be. All I can say it's this: Trust me, NS will be cannon and major thing await us in the cannon, we just have to be patient.

I loved what I saw. Knowing Kishi's style, big things coming up. From the name of the techniques to the design, situations, everything was and will be.

DaiRasenRingan... I smell a combination of Naruto and Sasuke. Rasengan + Sharingan = RasenRingan. The Dai thing I wonder what it has to do.

The designs of the bijuu counterparts in the Limited Tsukuyomi and how they all become one and in enter in Menma and Tobi takes control of him... Doesn't it smell too cannon for you? I mean, we have all the bijuus in ten tails and now Tobi wants to become the jinchuuriki and control it, same as he controlled Menma ... and so many others.
Too bad I don't have the time to explain my pov of the combinations I saw as a past and future foreshadowing.

Huh that last part about the bijuus, Menma, and Tobi... I haven't thought about that. That makes sense actually. Of course Menma wasn't as strong as the juubi is depicted to be, and of course other factors (no Madara, alliance) but they somehow relate but in different ways. Maybe naruto will manage to defeat the juubi in the manga but be extremely exhausted from it. Then in his exhausted state either Tobi Madara or Sasuke will challenge him and Sakura and the alliance will somehow defend him enough so naruto gets back up his feet and finish the job. Kinda like in the movie when Sakura fought Tobi while naruto was unable to battle *Shrug

About the Universe it ws strange because they slept they eat, they drink and even take a shower on a genjutsu world, the limited tsukyomi was OP or even too good because it's possible to make the victim to not perceive that it's on a genjutsu with proper means.

In my opinion , this was similar to what Kakashi went through when he fought Itachi . He spent 3 days in the genjutsu , but only 1 second passed in the real world . This is the same , they spent days inside the alter universe , but in the real wolrd only a few moments went by .

The difference is that Itachi made the universe as he wanted it and was in full control of it . In the movie , the genjutsu was created based on Naruto and Sakura and their deepest desires (Obito did not plan for Sakura at first , but ends up casting the genjutsu on her as well ) .

- Naruto's parents were alive
- there are hints that AU! Sakura and Menma were close , if not together , which would be another one of Naruto's desires
- at the moment when the genjutsu was cast , Sakura was upset with her parents , in the alter universe they were dead and she gets a taste of what it means to live alone
- right before Obito shows up , Sakura says she wished Sasuke would have stayed in the village instead of Naruto , because he would have understood her . In the alter universe , Sasuke is in the village and Menma is the one gone bad .

Both Naruto and Sakura were fully aware that they were in a genjutsu but , since this universe had what they both wished for , they start forgetting it is all an illusion and get caught up in it .

and realized how mistaken they were. Point of the story; as tough as your life is or no matter how much you take it for granted it is how it is for a reason. you would not be who you are without it.
