So you're saying it's not a love thing? Isn't that better? I know it all connects to scene before Tobi arrives. Her two things are no parents and Sasuke > Naruto because it comes off that she believes Sasuke would understand her more than Naruto, which is why Naruto got low blow look before Tobi arrival. I didn't see the movie but since the movie got too many NS interactions, I almost saw the whole thing. Just not the fight. It was clear that it was what I said because in the end, it ties up with the beginning. If the ending ended it with Sakura just hugging Naruto, then it's just her parents being the only subplot for her, but really there's two. Funny because there's no good sign for SS since she or Naruto never brought it up. It came out looking bad in the long run. I would comment more once I see the movie.

THIS MOVIE WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ♡♡♡♡♡♡

I loved the narusaku interaction, very simple, cute and romantic in a way ♥ I also loved how badass sakura was and her awesome fight scene, menma was si badass and so was naruto, loved the way kushina teased naruto, and how minato asked naruto if he got in a fight with sakura due to his bad mood.

This movie is SO shouting the kushina parallel, and I feel like this is kishis way of showing us that naruto chose sakura as his girlfriend, I mean they took out the part in narutos flashback when kushina adviced him about women.

And the kung fu generations ending song WAS SO narusaku, the lyrics just totally matched them, the way it speaks of how he struggled and she shed tears and its all today, and "Lets get up, you and me grasp my hand and lets stay strong together" or something like that, it gave me a feeling of something forshadowing how naruto and sakura keep struggling because of sasuke and that they both should stay strong and not struggle, and how theyre grief over sasuke and merely a "today" and that theres gonna be a better "tomorrow".

All in all, the NS interaction, the sakura development, her badassery, k11 interaction, NS drama, akatsuki and amazing vibe, I give this movie a 10/10

Hello guys, sorry I haven't been on in so long, been having a busy life and haven't had the time. Anyways, this movie was as awesome as I thought it would be, I loved it, especially the message it gives about the importance of family. I liked the NS too,though I actually would have liked the movie even without it, it just made it even better lol. Narusaku ftw as always.

I love the end part when Sakura found her real parents, Naruto wanted to approach them, it was like he wanted their warmth. (hint for Naruto ending up with Sakura?)
But he stopped moving towards them and demands Sakura on a date.

And Sakura's reaction was ambigus after hearing him for a date. When she opened her eyes, she gave me the impression to not refusing it in the first time.
But in the end she was like "what the hell, we already had the longest date ever" xD


Beautiful movie, especially for NS lovers like us.

Watched the Japanese dub with English subs. It was great! Admittedly, I haven't seen the other Shippuuden movies (only a few scenes and trailers) except the first, but I can't imagine that they're any better than this one. Naruto and Sakura are actually in character, which is a real problem when it comes to fillers and movies.

Man, Menma really hated Naruto.

I loved how Sakura was thinking of Naruto a lot, when she saw that his parents were alive (how did she know who his parents are? ) and thinking about how Naruto was lonely for so long, just like how she was at that moment. And then seeing her sadly watch a happy Naruto with his parents, and the fence scene. All the feels.

Kishimoto could barely make the parallels any more obvious if he tried. Seriously, putting in the flashbacks and having Sakura chained up like Kushina, then later the bridal catch? Why are people still denying this?

The Menma vs. Naruto scene was awesome. Especially Dark Kyuubi vs. Kyuubi.

I also loved sassy Naruto. When he was all pouty when he saw how much Sakura was enjoying the alternate world (his smile while watching her talk to the kids ), and when Minato asked him to clear the table and he said, "Do it yourself." What a teenager. xD

My major complaint with this movie was the animation. I'm glad that they went back and redrew some scenes for the DVD (Minato looks much more handsome ) but it still could have been better. I mean? When they saw Minato and Kushina for the first time, Kushina was wearing her hair in a ponytail and all, but when she hit Naruto, her hair was in the style it normally is, loose and with a hair clip and all. How did they mess that up? Lol. I really wish they could have taken their time on this to make it perfect, but that would mean it would take longer to put out, and we wouldn't have this treat for us NS fans while we're being starved in the manga. Also, I wish Sakura could have fought a little more, but at least we got something~

So I finally got around to watching this.. and while I enjoyed it I was a bit disappointed! Don't get me wrong, it was great compared to the other shippuden movies. But I guess with all the hype and my excitement, I envisioned some grand NaruSaku fest. There were some cute moments but I saw so many opportunities for them to comfort each other or offer counsel and there wasn't as much fluff as I hoped (the fence scene where they just walked away without even looking at eachother :/). I also hoped at the end she'd feel like "Hey, you just went through a really emotional experience and as your friend I should comfort you" and we'd get a tender scene. But who am I kidding, they're not a couple yet! I'm just a little impatient.

Highlight of the movie for me was the Sakura vs. Menma fight. Hands down. She held her own and the bridal save afterwards was so amazingly adorable.
I enjoyed the family moments as well, those are always nice. Sakura was cute throughout though she was a little overly snotty at some parts. But I think I read somewhere that she was intended to be that way.

The animation was..average. I hoped that it would be movie worthy, but this is Naruto we're talking about.

She was reading about Itachi and Akatsuki, it was never mentioned something about his parents, though... Maybe it's a foreshadowing that Sakura will get to know his parents?

I choose to believe that the files might have mentioned why the Akatsuki would be after Naruto then which would lead to his heritage and his bitrthright through Kushina....

If she knew about since then why didn't she tell him. I would understand tsunade Kakashi and Jiraya to shut up so they can protect him or out of respect for both Minato and Hiruzen, but somehow I see Sakura seeing Naruto hurting because he didn't knew about his parents.

If she would know about them maybe directly from Naruto. You remember they were talking about Tsunade after the pain attack.

Well, why, she knew why. Because he was a jinchuuriki. She even had flashbacks about Naruto's solitude given this fact. And then we have Chiyo explaining.
Dunno, I think that if she would've known, Kishi would've put more emphasis on it... but I also could be wrong.

And I would love as well to see her reaction.

I'll say this much: when Edo Minato arrives and Sakura sees him, that may be our answer. She can say "4th Hokage" without any mention of Naruto's parents and that will confirm she doesn't. Otherwise, then it's canon that Sakura knows Naruto's family. If truly canon, then what the heck Sakura has been doing digging dirt about Naruto? Lol. I'm kidding though Sasuke doesn't seem to know.

Well after watching the movie the "Sasuke-kun would definatly understand me" line hurt like hell. But when she realizes she was soooo wrong the feels....

The moment she sees sasuke being a playboy... priceless
