Is it super cynical of me to think that the app with free chapters/episodes is just a deterrent for people to stop criticizing the final two chapters and for them to go see the movie? You can't be super judgemental, critical, and boycott if you're happy with freebies.

Yeah. Plus, as I've heard from people who speak japanese, people have been majorly critical about the ending. Right? Like if you're so happy with the ending why do you have to jump down people's (that is, NS shippers) throats when they're less than satifisfied, accusing them of only being "butthurt" that our ship didn't happen (especially since the MAJORITY of the fandom, including non-shippers, have been critical about it)? You got what you wanted, dude. You "won." We "lost." That's all that should matter, take your victory and be civil about it. But instead you attack people who are minding their own damn business. AGH. It's so frustrating.

Thank you! They take one out of line NS shipper and then blame the whole fandom for their actions. While if you really look at what's going on it's just NH/SS fans putting us down even more, not even respecting the "stay in your tag" rule anymore. I can't even search the tags anymore on tumblr. Can't go to Narutoforums and not see someone attacking NS for reasons unknown.  

 

I think at the end of the day this shows who truly provoked the horrible, legendary ship war. When I was a SS fan (before he stabbed her yo) I joined the Naruto "internet" and I was instantly turned off by the fans of my (old) otp. It was the NS fans who were nice to me, and so I made that my home.  

 

So I guess if we're going to be ridiculed, then let's be ridiculed together. <3

Is it sad that I don't want closure? I want it to remain bad and I don't want to give any reason to praise it. Even if that closure is well written, it won't undo the damage already dealt. It will still feel like a cop out.

I rather have no closure and complain of it having no closure than to continue wanting a closure and getting a crappy one.

You know I actually understand where you're coming from. But I just don't want to be seen as the "crazy, ignorant fandom who lost the war". Like I know we're not crazy for shipping what we love. We had so much build-up. I kinda want Kishimoto to acknowledge that as well. 

 

But I also love complaining, and not only that but I think this horrible ending actually made our fandom grow closer.

IMO he could say nothing.

It was clear as day that he wanted to finish it on NaruSaku.

I just can't believe otherwise.

 

IMO he changed his opinion or was forced to around 615.

Yes!! To me...the story ended tragically and Naruto and Sakura were left in unhappy marriages.
Let me figure out the mess you made for my own dammit!! Wasn't it bad enough that they teared apart the main couple? What right do they have to try to explain the inconsistent story fallacies they made in the first place? Just let me kittening be!!
I'm still having damn dreams about Naruto and Sakura; never realized how much I wanted them together. :(

I just don't picture Hinata as a strict mother and Naruto acting like Minato here. He seems to have lost himself as he grew up. And what was that crap about Bolt asking for his "Aunt Ino" to help his stomach ache? You're telling me his own mother can't solve that problem? This is just a mess on all fronts. This new family just seems so dysfunctional.

 

Guess that's why Kishi didn't draw them together.

I totally expected him to draw Naruto, Sakura and their children in that type of scene.
He failed his story so much... my god...

-cuddles- I know, I know. Take a deep breath and think that in few months it will all die down, trolls will be left unsatisfied and won't know what to do with their lives anymore, and we will all still be here, being awesome and writing fan fictions drawing fan arts and being the tight-knit community that we are.

This is absolutely the hardest moment, but once we pass it, all will be easier.

And reality is relative

The movie looks so dumb... Animation looks like Digimon's..characters look OOC as kitten..plotline for being the FINAL Naruto movie is absolutely ridiculous...
I recommend Will of Fire or Blood Prison--the former has a sweet NaruSaku moment where Sai teases Sakura about "the man she loves". <3
