I mean about their personalities. They have the same one. The difference is their pride. Akatsuki's personalities are the same but the difference is they're doing it for the good.

Not sure why. Maybe it will be like "Oh I get it now! It's Sakura!" for the audience. As if the movie wasn't too obvious enough, but I digress. Whatever reason is, it doesn't hurt. Parallel is still intact. I think her comment made it too much of seal approval to begin with, let alone parallel.

Correct. If they had included Kushina's flashback about finding a girl like her it would've been too obvious for everyone in the theater that Sakura was Naruto's destined partner. So I think they omitted it for the sake of keeping a slight bit of ambiguity. People can still find the connection like we do, but Kishi and the producers didn't want to make it too obvious themselves.

Yeah, because god knows how obvious the whole Hokage cape, chains, Tobi being the villain with an additional right hand man, Menma, etc. You know, if this movie was like a standalone anime movie, nothing based on anything, the ending could easily be romance, because it writes itself when you think about it. But since it is, let alone not done, we got to keep it minimum.

I agree. She's so incredibly nice in AU!. I guess that's why they show the original in anger in the beginning as well as manga to draw a comparison.

Oh and I thought of something. Wouldn't it be GREAT if Menma was a tsundere to AU Sakura. Like he thinks that because she is the Daughter of the Fourth Hokage and he doesn't think he is worthy of her so acts a bit distant and cold, (but not abusive) but actually likes her, and AU Sakura is the one with a crush on him and always tries to ask him out and is usually only a dork when in front of him. Won't that be AWESOME?

That would be. Anime suggested that AU! Sakura is more speak before think and in the movie, Menma seems like Naruto only less goofy. Not serious but less goofy. I think I say this because of his attitude from what I heard is more like "You can't touch me because you're too slow!" than "You will die here, and everything you have will be gone." I always think the scene where Naruto and Sakura interaction was reversed is what may be like with their counterpart. It seems like Minato is aware of his relationship and Kushina likes to poke fun, because there are mothers that does that. Like mine...Anyway, yeah, I think you're right.

They said he was just like Minato, so think he's more like Sakura on the real world but not a tsundere.

You know what, I think I know but it's confusing. Let me try. You know how Naruto got more of Kushina in terms of personality? Well in AU!, he's more of Minato. Sakura relates to more of her mother. In AU!, she's more of her father. If the anime really knows what Kishi intended, then this makes sense. I don't know about tsundere but judging by Minato, perhaps Naruto/Menma does show hot temper whenever AU! Sakura does "something". Not to say their roles are truly reversed, but it just the way of their characteristics.

I think it's weird, We dont know how Sakura is on the AU!, since no one commented on her behavior so she's the same, but growing up alone makes her a bit more relaxed, also for Naruto he's like Minato but with no Tsundere traits or hot temper because if he's the same as Minato, then he really doesnt display this, but for AU! i believe that probably Naruto/Menma loved someome else(that's not Hinata could be Ino as an example), while Sakura loved him.

Also on the Au!'s world she still the same but more relaxed but she's smart and was even on a mission.

If we go by movie only, it's safe to say that Menma and Sakura are close friends and perhaps the parents is saying that Menma has an interest with Sakura. Minato's choice of words says a lot because he could have just said what's wrong with you period. Kushina's tease is also another one. The funny thing is that Naruto cuts it off as if to say, if it was Menma, he may have responded much differently. Because Naruto was not in the mood, so to me, Kishi played it clever to dodge further question.

Then again, the closest we got is that Hinata is annoyed that Sakura is with him, and she doesn't believe anything Sakura saying about nothing is going between him and her. Which is close friends. I already established that. I'm not saying they are lovers, it's up to you to interpret it that way or not.
