I know about Hinata, but it's specifically connected with the flowers. Flower of hope, flowers wilting, that flower on her hair, etc.
What I find really nice is that on every of these teams you can find a connection with NS.
Even a small one.

I'm not trying to bother with that, I've been quite neutral, but when others know you're a NS and try to shove NH on your throat whenever they see you on a thread or something like hat, it's just... ugh!

Well, cliffhanger for us but NS stuff negates NH since they're in the same arc and everyone is witnessing it. This arc will kill a pairing. If NS survives, the final battle is SS. Otherwise, well yeah...

Naruto and Hinata will fight and probably some more people will end up dying. Nothing pairing related wil happen unless we consider Hinata fighting with Naruto as pairing related.

IMO unless Obito attacks Sakura I don't see a NaruSaku scene happening until Sasuke shows up again. And that's a long wait.

Oh I see. Still, I do believe a NS moment in here will negate NH because of the protagonist. Remember, he just did the "magic" touch to Hinata and if Naruto still shows feelings for Sakura and she feels nice, yeah that's all folks. I don't think he will show love stuff but the ending of the battle can suggest it. Think as the hug scene. That scene got the last laugh out of NH and NS. That said this is a match of a lifetime. The trump card has been used already (holding hands) and now, will there be a NS to counter? We just have to wait and see.

I have seen one person (not quite sure if it was here or elsewhere) mention that Kishimoto said he hated Sakura at Jump Festa '09, and another say that he asked the readers to please stop the unnecessary hate towards her at Jump Festa '09 as well.

Are either of these true? I am just curious as to what he truthfully said regarding her, if anything at all. Not that it is anything necessarily relevant anymore anyways, I just want to know what the truth is being that I have seen two completely contradicting statements about it.

I appreciate if anyone could verify that for me.

He doesn't hate her. He is rather fond of her. It's just that he needs to make her more heroine from this point forward since people want to see her do something heroine. Otherwise, they would assume it's really Hinata, which is not, all because of that confession.
