Hm, yeah, in some cases it did seem like if you were black you were somewhat obligated to vote for Obama. Though, the whole article seemed to be questioning why on earth there could be any black conservatives, what with its focus on Tea Partyers being made up of racist nut-jobs. While I'm not denying they could exist, I would guess they are a small minority.
And I thought only white conservatives could be racist

Dankeschon.

I'm not sure how small of a minority. The nutjobs are getting the bulk of the airtime, even on Fox News.

I can't speak for FOX News, but why would that be unusual among the other major news networks that help popularize the slur teabaggers?

Black conservatives having a hard time is nothing new. Just ask Clarence Thomas.

They get the bulk of the airtime because it makes for more viewers. It's good tv, apparently.

Why are those your only options? I don't think there is a shoe-in for the Republican nomination, though Romney seems to be the popular pick at the moment. I think he'd be a big mistake, but that decision is almost a year off.
Though Obama losing the Democratic nomination would be highly unusual even if he's highly unpopular in 2012. Presidential incumbents don't lose the party nomination very often. The last one I can recall is Pierce. Most who can't win go the route of LBJ.

Personally I'm torn. I love NASA, everything to do with space/space travel/going to different planets, and I was heartbroken when I found out that NASA was having major missions cancelled like a return trip to the moon, and the manufacturing of new rockets. But at the same time I *am* pretty excited about more private companies getting into the space game, because sometimes to further innovation you need to think 'out of the box', and NASA really does need some new life breathed into it. And the private companies *have* proven that they can get people up into orbit, and do it with half or even a third of the cost of a NASA rocket. And it's all just as safe if not safer, as their rockets are new and not aging like the NASA rockets.
So, I'm torn on how I feel about Obama's new space program plan ^^

Also NASA was almost completely through with the rocket and lunar lander buggy but Obama decision shut everything down.
In other news I found this article: The Most Boring Game Ever? to be interesting.

First the government or to be more precise certain senators wanted to abolsish video-games, now they want to make one based in governing and administration. How Will the game be called, "Mr. President"? The times are truly changing.

Ever heard of this nut Sir Richard Charles Nicholas Branson? Yeah...if someone is going to beat Nasa is Virgin Galactic...except for a passage it cost around 200,000 American Dollars with 20,000 USD in deposits

Let light be our guide towards victory
Whenever there's despair there's a darkness, whenever there's hope there's a light and it's up to us to bring in that light.

If we think what's bad?

I disagree. If the things its producing aren't worth the expenditure then it shouldn't exist. I'm not saying that is the case, I haven't paid much attention to NASA in recently.
I suppose the bright side is James Hansen would be booted out of there. Though from hearing Obama's plan for NASA is...I bet he'll be kept around.
