Think of it this way. Seven turnovers and they lost by 15. Should have been far worse.

No cause a loss is a loss. Cardinals are supposed to look elite, not get beat by our sub .500 rivals.

Final scores

Patriots 17 Bills 10
Cardinals 31 Lions 24
Falcons 10 Jets 7
Titans 27 Dolphins 24 (Overtime)
Texans 16 Rams 13
Browns 41 Chiefs 34
Raiders 20 Broncos 19
Chargers 27 Bengals 24
Ravens 31 Bears 7
Buccaneers 24 Seahawks 7
Eagles 27 49ers 13
Steelers 37 Packers 36

Defense played better, Mcnabb was sloppy, and Desean was Desean. Eagles better win these last two games, emotional game against Dawk and Denver coming up. And thanks to Philly, the Cardinals have won the NFC West for the 2nd straight year, congrats Whirly.

If Matt Moore isn't careful, he might just be the Panthers' QB next season. Favre once again is aging and the vikings are becoming one dimensional. 1 more loss and the eagles can get the 2nd seed

That's what they ought to do.

Where the hell has this team been. They destroyed the Vikings on both sides of the ball. Though, it could be fluke.

Even if the Panthers win out, they still don't make the playoffs. They should play Moore, let Delhomme rest and, if he plays well, let Moore compete for the job next year. And if good one is available in the second round, draft a QB. Or, possibly a DT/DE, since I'm not sure they're keeping Peppers. Moore could be long term answer since he's young, but I'm nowhere near convinced, yet.

But, this team is clearly better with Moore as the QB right now. Even if he hadn't hung almost 300 yards on the Vikings, he's thrown 4 TD's and hasn't been picked off in the last two games. He's been far more effective at getting the ball to Smith than Delhomme has this year.

Well the big thing he deserves credit for is his composure. Facing perhaps the best front four in the league he stayed calm and didnt force things. And he also believed in his receivers abilty to make plays. Jake gets either too scared or he just throws it up for a prayer

When he choked against the Cardinals, it felt like he spent the whole game trying to make up for previous turnovers. It still feels like that: like he has to continually make for the fact that he keeps screwing up so he ends up trying too hard and screwing up more.

It's too early to bet solely on Moore, and it's only one game, but the really do need to see what they have. Look what happens when they have something more than the anemic passing game they've had all year. Even Stewart got 100 yards on them.

Okay.

We are mathematically elimanited. Then we whip the 11-2 Vikings and follow that up by utterly destroying the Giants 41-9 in the final game of their stadium in a must win game for them, but, statstically speaking, meaningless game for us.

It is both a great cause for hope (proves how good we can be and that Moore may be a solution to our quaterbacking woes) and great frustration (imagine if this team had around for even half the season, we'd be in the playoffs).

Oh well, let's hope it carries in the game against the Saints and 2010.

Chargers in my opinion are the best team in football right now. Great QB with a stellar offense, and a pretty solid defense. That's one team I wouldn't want to face in the post season. Saints and Vikings are both sliding right now, and the Colts are pulling the same thing they did in '05. They don't look like the top tiers in their respective conferences. Packers and Patriots are the two teams in each conference that I believe could make a big difference come play off time.

AFC: Chargers/Patriots

NFC: Eagles/Cardinals

Desean made history by becoming the first player ever to be selected for two postions in the Pro Bowl, awesome. I'm Happy to see that Weaver and Akers were named starters, they earned it. And there's no shame in backing up Peppers and Allen, so congrats to Trent Cole. Asante, you can't tackle, you can be up & down in coverage, but your name recognition and INT's were enough. However, I'm disappointed that Celek was snubbed, he had more TD's than Witten, but I guess that star on the helmet will take care of that. I hope he tears it up on Sunday. And i'll be honest, Peters shouldn't start, heck, if he was off the roster I wouldn't argue. Dude is inconsistent.

I'll be keeping an eye on Cardinals-Packers, Patriots-Texans, Saints-Panthers, and of course, Eagles-Cowboys. The last game of the season will see The Jets taking on the NFC North Champs. If NY wins, they're in. Enjoy, it's gonna be a hell of a week.

Well Saints/Panthers was interesting until the Vikings blew it. I suspect New Orleans to rest their starters. No good reason not to.

I hate to say it, but I think that the Vikings have been overrated on both sides of the line this year. They have what should be the best front four in the league with three Pro-Bowlers and a guy, but they've been very inconsistent.

I only watched the first three quarters of the Panthers/Vikes game before I turned it off in disgust, but Moore didn't look all that great to me. He missed a lot of open receivers. It's just that the Vikings managed to look even worse on offense. And when he missed receivers, it wasn't right to a Vikings defender so he'd have another shot the next play.

Or maybe I'm just bitter because my Vikings have choked earlier than I expected. The playcalling has been very disappointing.

You have to understand, that's a huge improvement over the guy he replaced who was handing it to other teams. The Panthers are built to be a run first team. They don't need Drew Brees (although it'd be nice if we had him). It's enough that they have someone who can get the ball down the field often enough that people can't sit on the run and won't turn the ball over. He's been able to do that.

Moore looked sharper during the Giants game.

He may or may not be the long term solution, but he's the best we have at the moment and has at least earned the chance to try.

It's a vast improvement over the turnover fest we were getting from Delhomme.

I was kinda hoping that we'd see Delhomme because our defense hasn't been ballhawking as well recently and maybe it'd help them get the knack back.

Then again, we couldn't do anything against Cutler either.

Thank God for the Phillies, otherwise this town would've never witnessed a Championship. Pathetic effort, they came out flat and never got anything going. Dallas played a hell of a game, that defense can take them to the Super Bowl. That was fun, Let's do it again next week! yes.gif

I hate to say it, but it's time to move on to Kolb. Mcnabb is still a good Quarterback, but it's never gonna happen with him. They can still get some value for him, so it would be best to think about moving him.
