Godai, I really hope Inane doesn't do that! They're pretty much the only translators I can find... I know there's Bakafish but they don't seem to have a website or anything.

If they do THAT, then it's time to find someone who knows fluent Japanese and is willing to help translate Naruto! I could easily do the typesetting and retouching of the pages.

A shame pro translators are pretty expensive AFAIK.

I know somewhere they host the Bakafish translations but you'll have to wait until I get back to my place tomorow, by then Inane will have finished translation and I'll be a very happy man!

I'll send the link over just in case, can't hurt to have a second source and see the chapter earlier sometimes!

Hopefully, Inane will release soon - it's almost 48 hours since the RAW was released. I do appriecate that they have other things, commitments, and projects to do, of course. It's just the suspense I guess. ;

At least the release of 235 will ease the wait for 236 a little.

I've started translating a little of the manga. Done the first page, but I'm already tripping over the kanji on the last panel of the second. Tch.

Stupid tiny hub! It slips off the table, being dragged off by the not-quite-long-enough LAN cable from my PC to my dad's. So I have to weigh it down with a USB hub and a webcam AND a spanner... but the damn thing still slips off, then the power cable falls out and I lose the LAN.

Next time, I'm getting out the Araldite. I've heard only C4 will move that bugger once it's secured on there.

Blayze, that reminds me of my old USB hub! It was so light it kept getting dragged all over the place by the USB cables, which really annoyed me. Hope your solution works!

Bass, take a look at the Episode 104 thread. I put up a link to the NaruSaku clip of it - it's only 2MB in size so you can try downloading it if you want to see (it's my last post in the thread).

I've already done half of 235 in translation! I did three pages, and I was pleasantly surprised to find my translations were accurate. The rest is Udanstraight's (saves time) and I'm crediting them for that. It's pretty cool to be able to do the job - I just wish I could do the translating faster - I keep tripping up on the kanji. I don't have any problems with the hirigana and katakana.

I'll probably put the pages up soon - but I'd replace them with Inane as soon as it comes out since those guys are pros and would get the gist far better.
