maybe maybe not. I thought he was just taking her really seriously. Ochako passed out at the end cause she lifted well over 3 tons. At the very least he isn't trying to kill her out of pure malice. But we'll see what happens

Well, Deku did fight first, so I guess it is next. I don't think the fight will start at the very start of the chapter. I get the feeling it's a cool down before Deku steps in for the most part.

Part of me thinks, why put the Deku vs Shouto fight so early on?

I think the reason behind that is probably to show how far Todoroki will go as a character. I can see this going two ways, either he wins against Deku to prove to his father how his power's enough to defeat somebody, or he looses to Deku and his father feeds words into his mind that could start making him think about what to do.

That's the best reason why I think their fight is happening early to showcase where Todoroki will go as a character depending on how the outcome plays out in their match.

Yeah, although it's an expression with him some of the time though. So can't say for sure. But at least he shows that he's not underestimating her.

Oh Nooos!!! We got a NH ans SS situation all over again. Fan preferred couples so far are IzukuXTsuyu and KatsukiXOchako. Oh well As long as opposing shippers do not bash IzukuXOchako shippers and just keep tot themselves and Be respectful then it's not actually SS and NH all over again but still.

 

Really what I hated Most about our LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG Shipping war was that there were countless amounts of bashing and insults to characters and shippers alike that just made shipping no fun and turned into a blood sport.

Because Naruto characters were only good for Chuunin Exam. Here, we don't know yet. People stuck in the past for Naruto that it got too sad. And now we know why.
