It's okay. I found a poster of Part 4, but it's blurry. Still, I could tell what's it about.

 

The poster has a red background with Sora, Tai, Yamato, Hououmon / Pheonixmon ( One of my favorite digimons ) and Machinedramon. It's going to be a tough fight.

Seems that Sora will make the Ultimate Digivolution with Biyomon which is Hououmon, and I think Tai and Yamato will make peace of their Part 1 problem.

Seems Machinedramon will be infected from Gennai.  It seems also that Gennai is the one behind the infections. The character that appears in a navy blue robe. He also appeared in seasons 1 and 2 and has a pony tail like hair.

I watched it, can't get into it, it doesn't feel like digimon and its story is written in a way it can't possibly take place in the digimon multiverse, its probably its own separate spinoff universe like gundam's gundam build fighters.

Am i the only one here who ships taiora?

No you're not. I just don't care anymore unless this series retcons the distant finale for Adventure 2 which apparently is most likely not the case. That's why I don't really bat an eye at any ship tease other than to snipe at it and say "stop with the lies" when they do that love triangle kitten with Tai Sora and Matt.  T.K and Kari didn't become canon at the end either so I see no point in them either. (Granted I was quite a Dakari shipper back in the day, before but the the Adventure 2 cast got taken out of the story for now so..............)

I like the taiora, but since the  beginning I was not a shipper in that time   I care more about the Digimon. Now I the only I can say is just poor Tai, then move on , well I have to admitted later  I will a little bit salty for the ship situation of Pokemon.

Yup. 50 / 50 till now for me too.

I think Himekawa has the upper hand of this mess. I feel like Gennai is infected too. What's the reason he would do that deliberately on the digimons ? Unless there is a past we don't know of him, I think he's infected. Maybe also Himekawa is infected because of a digimon controlling from somewhere in the shadows.

 

About Machinedramon, it's the one of the Dark Masters.

 

About nobody remembering sad memories.. What sad memories ? XD There's no important sad memories of their past that calls the plot to remember it for now. They got tearful and dramatic in Part 3 about their digimon partners and we'll see also how they'll their partners recall them. It's more than enough.

 

Also concerning Ken, they did wonder and ask two or three times about Ken. Hikari and T.K gone to see him at his house, but there was no one. So, the plot moves forward for other things to be shown. They can't stick to one thing all the time. As for the black digivice and D-3 of Ken, Himekawa explained to them about it. Of course, there's something behind it like taking it from Ken maybe.

I think the season 2 characters are imprisoned or hold back.

Maki said that or it was implied ? Cause if it's true then I missed that one too.

 

I think we'll see a new digimon in the final part. There was  also two new digimons in their ultimate evolution battling each other when they got to the digital world it will be experienced again with Hikari, but she will experience something similar to the dark ocean.

Those are not quite new Alphamon and Jesmon belongs to the Royal Knights, Alphamon his debut I believe was in the movie Digimon project X. He is the most powerful RK and the leader. Jesmon is newest and youngest of the Royal Knights, but they are new just in anime.

You mean appmon? i don't know digimon lately is getting more generic with its sequels. I don't mind tamers and froniter and a bit of xros cross but thats it for me. I thing this series is better if it got darker and is more for teens and adult. 

 

 

The Digimon series isn't meant to think of shipping. It's much more than that. If someone will ship two characters, probably there won't be any pairing, except for season 1 and 2 characters at the end, cause the Digimon series is all about the action related to the characters, digimons and the digivolving that are so great, cool and interesting to follow.
The adventure with each new season is very exciting, heart warming with the characters, their digimon partners and what changes the Digital world is having from evil digimons and some environmental changes too.
It also teaches positive things about life and friendship.
 
Even the pairings of season 1 and 2 aren't focused on. Just showing few hints a few times when two characters communicate and that's it. Everything else is what I said before regarding the action and adventure. What is most focused on in terms of relationship is friendship and team work. 
 
I think every person here can feel and somewhat knows this about the Digimon series. Especially those who know the Digimon series since he / she was a child, and / or saw the Digimon series since season 1
 
I'm so attached to Digimon since I was a child that a part of me was affected on who I became to be as a person.

Thats true digimon does have a lot positive aspect in the show thats why i enjoyed tamers and a bit of frontier and xros cross. It also has cool concept. art and world building. Shipping is the only thing that really disappoints.

As for takari i don't think it was suppose to be canon since not much was said about the pairs and the 02 ending didn't make them canon.
